Had an excellent experience at Carolina Lanterns & Lighting for a recent home renovation. Kaitlyn and the entire staff are awesome. The inventory on site covers a ton of ground. And if they don't have what you need, they will figure out a way to find it for you. They made the process easy top to bottom and have a great eye to make sure everything works together. Highly recommended!

Amazing choice of lighting and great customer service, even after the sale and install. We purchased all of our fans and lights for a new build and they were the best around. Definitely recommend Carolina Lanterns!

We initially had issues with both of our gas lanterns failing within the first year, and at first, it was difficult to get a response due in part by similar online company names. However, Carolina Lanterns & Lighting reached out and went above and beyond to resolve the problem. They provided replacement parts at no cost and were professional and courteous throughout the process. Mistakes happen, but how a company handles them matters, and in this case, they made it right. I appreciate their follow-through and commitment to good customer service.

We had already installed a couple of fans in the bedrooms from big box retailers and they function well for the intended airflow, but wanted not only that for the living room but to add character, beauty and performance as well. It was my second visit to Carolina Lanterns&Lighting to view some higher end ceiling fans and worked with Kaitlyn to help us make a good choice. She did well as we are totally happy with the 72” Spitfire she recommended. Installation was straightforward and the airflow is excellent. She also had it shipped to their outlet location which is closer to our home as well. It arrived with minimal waiting and we are now enjoying the results of shopping ordering and receiving an excellent selection based on expert guidance from Carolina Lanterns & Lighting! Purchased a chandelier for a unique space with a tall quarter barrel ceiling. Darby did a fantastic job of finding options that were appropriate for the space and in the budgeted range. She followed up, was responsive to questions and after we purchased she checked to see how we like it. We also are very happy with the flicker lantern style light bulbs that are purely decorative because there is plenty of light provided by the recessed lighting. We could not be happier with our selection and we highly recommend Darby and Carolina Lanterns.

Jennifer Marcum was very helpful! They have a large selection in the showroom and many more online. Jennifer is very knowledgeable and professional and my wife and I look to working with her again.

Stopped in to look around and get ideas for our new home. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly kind and welcoming. It was nice to be able to see so many options in person and there were many, many books filled with even more options. Some prices were reasonable and some were insane, but that is probably more on the manufacturer than it is on the store itself. I felt comfortable and welcome during my visit and would definitely recommend and come back when it's time to make a purchase.

The service at Carolina Lanterns & Lighting is amazing. Teri Edwards and Kelly Hart went above and beyond to help me fix a front porch lantern for my daughter & son-in-law. The porch lantern had never been serviced in several years. It now works great. I can't thank them enough!!

After viewing this location many times in print media, had the opportunity to visit while on vacation. Had an excellent journey into coach lamps from Pippa Maloney. Be sure to ask for her if you stop in. So many designs to choose from, and take your time in order to take it all in.

We love our gas lanterns and have gotten so many compliments! Teri helped us with the order and allowed us to pick them up from the coppersmith to save on shipping.

We had the best experience at Carolina Lanterns. Pippa Malone is just wonderful - listens to you, works with your taste and within your budget. She got to know us so well that when they got a new chandelier in, she called to tell us because she thought it would be perfect over our dining room table -- and it is! We get so many compliments on our lighting and fans. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Rude! Their motto is " Charleston with an attitude" and that is correct!! While in the store a man left angrily because they were unhelpful. I left because they were rude to my family and especially my children. Prices were crazy high too! There was a hanging lamp that we bought the exact one for $12 and theirs was $399? For those prices, they should be a heck of a lot nicer to folks.
