Nothing bad to comment here. The hotel is a little set back from town and the room is a little dated but otherwise I can’t find too much to criticise. Good value especially considering it was far superior to the place we had stayed in H.C.M for the same price. Room and bathroom had all the facilities you could want and were both a good size. Staff were helpful and friendly and importantly everything felt very clean!

Beautiful room with a great balcony. The balcony has sun in the evening, so it's the perfect place to relax after a day on the beach. Everything was very clean and the bathroom has a bathtub. The owner was very friendly and even picked a book for us to read on the beach. The location is very good as it is close to the beach and good restaurants, but the street is quiet nonetheless. There is no breakfast included. There is an elevator. Room is cleaned every day.

The hotel was hard to find as it was in a little laneway off the main street. Tip, use google map set to walk only as vehicles will never reach the hotel. The hotel itself was larger than everage with most of the conveniences and a walking distance to the beach, sailing club, convenience stores, a department store, and restaurants. ||Presently there are some constructions going around the hotel and noise can be an issue starting as early as 7 in the morning. ||The European owner is approachable and his staffs are genuinely friendly.

The room cost us 19US per night. It was well worth what we paid, as the facilities were excellent. The balcony in the hotel room was a great addition, yet another plus to the value of this perfect room. From the hotel to the beach, it was only a 5 minute walk. The owner of the hotel, was a lovely person, he had a bubbly personality, and went out of his way to assist us in any way possible. The only downfall to this room, was that breakfast wasnt complimentary.

I stayed for 4 nights in March 2019|Couldn’t fault this place. So close to all the action but was so quiet at night. |Special mention to the young girl on reception during the days while I was there, was so helpful, giving directions, got my washing done, organised a scooter, taxi to the airport, basically everything I asked she delivered very efficiently, so thank you.|And the older bloke on at night was always very friendly also, locked the scooter up for me every night to be safe.|Bed was changed every night, no hidden sneaky fees which was nice for a change in SE Asia.|Place was clean and appeared organised.|Would definitely recommend Carpe DM and would have no hesitation staying there again...

Was staying there for 4 nights had a great stay there. It is of the main track of Nguyen Thien Thuat Street which has many Restuarant,Shops of all kind,Bars,Massages etc.|Short walk to Beach and Sailing Club 5 min|The Hotel is small and quite for Vietnam standards.,has 16 Rooms as much I know.|What you have to keep in mind is that you only pay US$18 to $25 for the Room which is incredible Value for what you get.|The Rooms are big,clean,free Wifi,small Balcony,Flat screen TV, but keep in mind no breakfast which you expect for this Price.|Staff and Owner are very friendly and professional,they go out of there way to help you.|All up very happy with my choice

I arrived at 10pm and the guy working there was sleeping on a cot in the lobby (or was it a living room?). He didn't speak English, but was very nice with a big smile. The room was fine. I didn't like that there were only two poorly-stuffed pillows. The place is about what you'd expect for the price.

Needs a bit of TLC now I think, the photos are some years ago, however all that said it is good value and the staff are lovely.||Location might be an issue for some, you need to walk about 100m from drop off point as you can't get cars to the hotel. Okay in nice weather but for us it was raining heavily.||Breakfast is simple but more than adequate.||Check out the Brick House bar very nearby, great place for a beer and for a good mel then check out YENS.
