This Inn is truly a gem in the city of Fredericton. It is a beautiful Victorian space. The crown jewel is the Manager, Angie. She goes beyond with customer service and makes you feel like family. Breakfast is always delicious!

A fabulous historic house in Fredericton, a step back in time. A beautiful sitting and breakfast room. We had a huge bedroom with a very comfortable bed. Angie is an amazing hostess, very friendly and welcoming. She gave us recommendations for where to eat and drink. Fredericton is a lovely small town to walk around. Her breakfast pancakes are delicious and not to be missed.

Fabulous location, cozy elegance, and the best of Fredricton hospitality. Such lovely way to arrive to this city and get to know a little bit about its history. I arrived around midnight and Angie made sure I was all settled and had everything I needed. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This B&B did not disappoint. It’s an old but distinctive and proud building in a great location right near downtown, and we had a perfectly nice room. But don’t expect the Four Seasons. What really stood out and made it totally worth it were Angie - the manager who greeted us warmly and had great local food/entertainment suggestions - and the breakfast (the blueberry pancakes were a stand-out). Definitely recommended.

Excellent! Charming! Beautiful!|This Inn is fantastic! The staff are wonderful, the owner is generous and the surroundings are breathtaking. This exquisite house must be a part of your visit to Fredericton! No question. We just got back a week ago and are checking calendars for our return to the Carriagehouse Inn. 5 Stars!

Excellent service from the very charming host & quieter than expected. Soft sheets, comfortable bed. Non slip bathmat missing so tub a little scary - slippery for older or less able bodied folks. Used hand towel as a bathmat on floor since there didn’t seem to be one. . Clean. Great location. Breakfast good but not exceptional - something small would make a difference - a bit more than 1 half orange slice , maybe small glass of fresh juice, fresh baked item, a little something extra would take it over the top.

Barely 10 minutes on foot from the downtown area, this inn is extremely well situated for visitors. On top of it, it is on a quiet street, therefore promising a good rest. The house itself is a beautiful Victorian home with various bedrooms of different sizes on the top floors and a huge dining/living room on the ground floor where an excellent breakfast is served at 8:00 every day. The huge pancakes were very, very good and the front porch proved to be a pleasant place to enjoy a glass of wine. Free parking by the way.||We were made very welcome and shown to our room on the 3rd floor right away. Ours was probably the most basic one but we were quite comfortable with the large bed, bureau, t.v., chair + bathroom which had all the usual amenities. Clean, quiet, and quite cosy in fact. We did not need more and, actually, we enjoyed our overnight stay very much.||

We stopped here on a road trip out to the east coast and what a perfect place to experience Fredericton! Angie was incredibly kind and personable, the location is so close to the amazing walking bridge and other amenities. We were lucky to arrive on New Brunswick Day so there was a lot of entertainment going on within a couple minutes of the Carriage House. The building is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are so comfortable. We did have an issue where a bat flew into the room via the fireplace at 4am, but after a few minutes it flew back out. It was hilarious in hindsight. Just a word of warning, check to make sure the flue is closed. Would absolutely stay here again. Loved it.

Yelp
The house was built in the 1800's and was the original home to the mayor of Fredericton who was a free mason. Beautiful building with lots of rooms - each with their own washroom. Lots of stairs if you're on the top floor - comfy and clean with complimentary breakfast. Jugs of orange juice, free flowing coffee, yogurt assortment at the communal tables. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Yelp
My daughter and I just stayed here for 3 overnights. She was looking for a college and I just wanted a mini vacation. I certainly got it. We were made to feel at home the moment we met Natalie. We felt like family members just stopping by for a visit. She'd ask what we had planned for the day and if we needed any suggestions for what to do. Jamie took care of us for breakfast each morning. I really liked the Carriage House eggs! Natalie and Jamie, thanks for making our stay better!! We'll be back in the fall!
