Nestled in serene countryside and offering breathtaking views from every corner, Carrossa is a tranquil and relaxing retreat. The atmosphere is calm and respectful—something clearly valued by the guests. People naturally keep their voices down, whether lounging by the pool or enjoying breakfast or dinner.||Our only suggestion for the management would be to consider making Carrossa an adults-only hotel. Most guests are couples, and even a single family with children can unintentionally disrupt the peaceful ambiance. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with children laughing at the table or playing in the pool—they’re just being kids—but in this particular setting, it can detract from the overall sense of calm.||The facilities are generally very good. Since the hotel was renovated in 2018, most amenities are in excellent condition. However, the shower drainage in the main building could be improved, as it is currently insufficient.||The staff—especially the breakfast buffet team and the Bistro Badia team—are exceptional. They anticipate your needs effortlessly and are consistently friendly and attentive.

The place oozes relaxation and does everything at the highest levels. Set in the middle of nowhere (actually 3 miles from Arta) the location encourages you to relax and take things easy. Our room was spacious, well equipped and had fantastic views. House keeping was top notch. Breakfasts were good with lots of choice at the buffet or eggs brought to the table. The pool area dominates with lots of options for lying out. The spa wasn’t visited but looked lovely. There are two restaurants to try - the informal bistro or the more formal Carrossa restaurant - both deserve a visit and the food is top quality at each one. There are two bars - one in and one out. The old building has a lovely courtyard and the local goats provide plenty of entertainment. A top quality hotel worthy of its 5 star status.

A true slice of paradise! Carossa Hotel offered us an enchanting getaway in a breathtaking setting, with a charming touch of Provence in the air. The estate is stunning and beautifully maintained, with top-notch facilities designed for ultimate comfort and relaxation.||||We stayed in a very private suite — perfect for unwinding in peace. The staff were incredibly attentive, and the ladies at breakfast were especially thoughtful and detailed. Starting the day with such kindness and care made all the difference.||||We did experience a small issue during our stay, but General Manager Mario Wolgast handled it with great diplomacy and reassurance. Thanks to his professionalism, we were able to fully enjoy what turned out to be a wonderful stay.||||A heartfelt thank you to the entire team - we’ll definitely be back!||

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights during our honeymoon and it was the perfect location with stunning views all around. We chose to stay in one of the suites which was lovely and private and only a few minute walk to the main building with the pool, spa, restaurants etc. We had a car rental and it was only a 10 minute drive into Arta. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast every morning, relaxed by the pool every afternoon, and even got massages one day. We look forward to staying again in the future!

Carrossa Hotel & Spa offers luxury as promised. We stayed in a junior suite and loved all of the features of the room. Breakfast was delicious and had everything you could want. I loved the fresh fruit and cheese selection. You definitely need a car if you are staying here. Don't forget to visit Arta! Laura at guest services offered us exceptional service and advice.

The hotel was recommended by Wellness Traveller on their website and I must admit it did not disappoint. The location and outstanding with great service and outstanding food. Pool area and spa were a wow and we loved. Value for money however was probably one of the best on the island.

Impeccable. Never have I felt so relaxed in a hotel before. I loved every minute of it. Like other reviews said, everything surrounding Carrosa is for your relaxation. It’s quiet, and it smells like Lavender all around. The staff is incredible and I could not express my sincere gratitude for every member I came across. The Hamacher family have superb grounds and a happy staff — they must be good people. Cheers to Yunes (El Capitano!), Laura, Álex, Gabe, and the most heart warming host, Paula, de Braga — a qual foi um prazer conversar, sempre com um sorriso! I will most certainly recommend the hotel for family and friends, as It was the most delightful hospitality experience I had the pleasure of enjoying to this day. Keep up the excellent work.
