The hotel and spa is a beautiful Oasis just outside the town of Arta. Facilities, views, accommodation and staff are all fabulous. The pool and sun bathing areas (on different levels) were very attractive and comfortable - it's not a massive pool but never felt too busy. Drinks service was excellent both at the pool and the evening bar. The suites are very generous on split levels with individual outdoor seating, very quite and slightly set away from the main Manor House hotel, so you can enjoy a short walk to the bar/restaurant through the grounds in the evenings (I cannot comment on the rooms in the Manor House). We didn't use the indoor spa facilities apart from the gym, however, these are very extensive, with a large indoor pool for the cooler months. The town of Arta is only about 6km away so a short taxi ride, and has an authentic selection of bars and restaurants and a lively and friendly vibe. Golf is well catered for through the hotel, with affiliations with the surrounding golf courses. We will definitely revisit.

Nestled in serene countryside and offering breathtaking views from every corner, Carrossa is a tranquil and relaxing retreat. The atmosphere is calm and respectful—something clearly valued by the guests. People naturally keep their voices down, whether lounging by the pool or enjoying breakfast or dinner.||Our only suggestion for the management would be to consider making Carrossa an adults-only hotel. Most guests are couples, and even a single family with children can unintentionally disrupt the peaceful ambiance. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with children laughing at the table or playing in the pool—they’re just being kids—but in this particular setting, it can detract from the overall sense of calm.||The facilities are generally very good. Since the hotel was renovated in 2018, most amenities are in excellent condition. However, the shower drainage in the main building could be improved, as it is currently insufficient.||The staff—especially the breakfast buffet team and the Bistro Badia team—are exceptional. They anticipate your needs effortlessly and are consistently friendly and attentive.

We had wonderful days, ending with great massages by Damiano, the SPA therapist. The hotel is beautiful, with impressive design and attention to detail. It was never crowded, and both the outdoor and indoor swimming pools were amazing. Breakfast and the restaurant were at the level you would expect from a 5-star superior hotel. Overall, we were very happy.

The place oozes relaxation and does everything at the highest levels. Set in the middle of nowhere (actually 3 miles from Arta) the location encourages you to relax and take things easy. Our room was spacious, well equipped and had fantastic views. House keeping was top notch. Breakfasts were good with lots of choice at the buffet or eggs brought to the table. The pool area dominates with lots of options for lying out. The spa wasn’t visited but looked lovely. There are two restaurants to try - the informal bistro or the more formal Carrossa restaurant - both deserve a visit and the food is top quality at each one. There are two bars - one in and one out. The old building has a lovely courtyard and the local goats provide plenty of entertainment. A top quality hotel worthy of its 5 star status.

Carrossa is a beautiful Place to relax. |When we arrived the welcome at the reception however was unfriendly and not welcoming. This was even more disappointing as my partner had already been at the Carrossa this year and was known by the staff. After a couple of attempts, we had the opportunity to share our experience with the hotel management. (Wished this opportunity would have happened sooner/easier).|Otherwise the hotel, rooms, Spa and pool are great- clean and well maintained. The staff particularly the breakfast and dinner staff is amazing. Even under stress and pressure we got excellent service and we have always been well taken care of. Wonderful hotel with impeccable service throughout. Ideal for a relaxing break, very peaceful and quiet location. High quality food at both the bistro and restaurant, with a delicious breakfast service too.

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights during our honeymoon and it was the perfect location with stunning views all around. We chose to stay in one of the suites which was lovely and private and only a few minute walk to the main building with the pool, spa, restaurants etc. We had a car rental and it was only a 10 minute drive into Arta. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast every morning, relaxed by the pool every afternoon, and even got massages one day. We look forward to staying again in the future!
