The salesperson I dealt with, José Alvarado, was very honest and truly interested in earning my business.
However, the desk managers add a "market adjustment" onto a used car to bump the price as much as $2900. While the sticker price remains artificially low, the dealer adds the artificial markup into the OTD price. So, for a car that was marketed at $25,900, the OTD price was $31,000. After I asked to just be told what that $31,000 included, the desk manager set a $30,000 bottom line but would neither explain nor budge. Maybe I am naïve and just don't deal with sales people that often but that is really shady.
