This place is pure magic for anyone who loves the Cars movies! It was such a blast to be completely immersed in the world of Radiator Springs. Seeing everything from the films come to life was amazing, and getting to meet Lightning McQueen in person was the absolute highlight. Ka-chow! You feel like you're a part of the movie, and it's a dream come true for fans of all ages. Don't miss it!

I couldn’t tell you when the lights in this place come on and apparently neither can the employees. You just have to show up at sometime near sunset and hope the hundreds of people filming the sky aren’t an hour early.

Google
Absolutely amazing to see. Our favorite part of the park. It's a great vibe ! We loved seeing the characters from the movie. The buildings are very well done. Highly recommend. Check out everybuilding.

Cars Land is pure magic! Walking through Radiator Springs feels like stepping into the movie. The attention to detail is amazing—especially at night when the neon signs light up the whole street.

Cars Land at Disney California Adventure is hands down one of my favorite places in the park, and I loved every minute of it. The theming is absolutely incredible—it’s like stepping right into the movie. From the towering rock formations to the neon lights and the Route 66 vibes, everything is so immersive. Whether it’s day or night, the atmosphere is just perfect. At night, the neon lights glow and the whole area comes alive, making it feel like you’re in Radiator Springs. The rides are amazing, especially Radiator Springs Racers. It’s such a fun mix of storytelling and thrills. You get to experience a race through Ornament Valley with stunning visuals and some of your favorite characters from Cars. It’s got everything—fast, fun, and scenic—and it’s definitely one of the best rides in the entire park. The Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters is a great ride too, and it’s perfect for younger kids. It’s lighthearted and fun, and the Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree ride is also fantastic for families. It’s cute, fun, and totally in line with the whole vibe of Cars Land. For food, Flo’s V8 Café is a great stop with delicious American diner fare, and the Cozy Cone Motel has some fun snacks like churros and popcorn. It’s a perfect place to take a break and refuel. I especially think Cars Land is great for kids. The rides are perfect for all ages, and the area itself is just so much fun to walk through. My kids had an absolute blast riding the attractions and just soaking in all the details. They were especially excited about meeting Lightning McQueen and Mater! Overall, Cars Land is a must-see. The rides, theming, and overall experience make it a highlight of Disney California Adventure. If you’re visiting with kids or just love the Cars movies, it’s definitely a spot you’ll want to check out. Highly recommended!

Cars Land at Disneyland is absolutely magical! 🚗✨ From the moment you step in, it feels like you've driven straight into Radiator Springs from the Cars movies. The attention to detail is incredible — the retro vibes, red-rock landscape, and neon signs make it feel like a real-life version of the movie. Radiator Springs Racers is the highlight — a mix of a scenic drive and a thrilling race that’s perfect for the whole family. The ride queue itself is packed with cool details from the movies. Don’t miss Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters and Mater's Junkyard Jamboree — they’re fun, charming, and surprisingly more exciting than they look! At night, Cars Land transforms into a glowing wonderland with all the neon lights coming to life — it’s straight-up magical. The food options at Flo’s V8 Café are also solid — classic diner vibes with decent food. If you're a fan of the Cars franchise (or even if you're not), Cars Land is an unforgettable experience. It’s pure Disney magic! 🏁❤️🔥

Cars Land is probably my favourite part of the Disney California Adventure park! Fun rides, lively music, and colourful decor throughout - it really makes you feel like you are in Radiator Springs!

Yelp
Classic cars, race cars, tractors and speed are on the menu at Cars Land! It's a fun place with great food (Flo'a) and snacks and refreshments - great shopping here as some of our fave stores with really cool stuff and selection is located in Cars Land! Don't miss Mater; Luigi and Radiator Springs rides!

Yelp
One of my favourite lands in all the Disney parks! The attention to detail from the moment you step into Cars Land is just so amazing! You really feel like you're on the set and the Halloween decorations make this even more fun during the fall. It's also super cute at Christmas time. The shops have park exclusive Cars merch and the Cosy Cone Motel is the best for light bites, including mac & cheese cones, popcorn and ice cream! The Speed Racers ride is one of the best park rides and again the attention to detail is incredible.

Yelp
So much fun! Radiator Springs is the town where Disney's movie, Cars is in. Cars Land is the area in Disney California Adventure that gives homage to the Cars movie and beloved characters. From rides, shops, and eateries. The mountain scenery where the Radiator Springs ride is cool and looks nice at night. My nephew even asked to have his photo taken there. There was a photo opp to photograph Lightning McQueen. I also heard Mater makes an appearance. Those characters are so cute! The ride Radiator Springs Racers is here of course which I reviewed a few weeks ago. Definitely would return to Cars Land!

Yelp
They did such an amazing job with designing Cars Land. It really does feel like you are in Radiator Springs when you step into this themed land. Disney California Adventure Park had a rough start after rthey opened until they built and opened Cars Land in 2012. This place brought in better attendance numbers and ushered in new themed lands like Pixar Pier and Avengers Campus. They have a few rides here at Cars Land. Radiator Springs Racers is a blast and is a race around the outskirts of Radiator Springs. You encounter many of the characters from the Cars movie along.the way. The only bummer is the line can be long and it breaks down often. Mater's Junkyard Jamboree and Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters are a couple rides designed for kids. I haven't been on them, but they look fun. Cars Land is one of my favorite places to go for a quick bite. Flo's V8 Café serves home-style rotisserie plates and pies. I come by here often during lunch hours. The Cozy Cone Motel has a nice variety of foods to choose from including the yummy Bacon Mac 'n' Cheese Cone. If you hang out in front of the Cozy Cone Motel, both Mater and Lighting McQueen cars drive up and make special appearances for photo ops. This places is a blast for both kids and adults. If you love the original Cars movie, you will enjoy walking around Cars Land. There are plenty of gift shops that offer exclusive Cars merchandise.

Yelp
Cars Land is my newest obsession since I experienced the main ride for the first time last summer. When I visit with my niece and nephew, I always take them on the other cars land-themed rides since they have so much fun and age appropriate for them. However, when I'm at the park without them, I prefer to enjoy the delicious food on this side of the park and the joy of the ride itself.

Yelp
Welcome to Radiator Springs! Where the streets are freshly paved, the hotel rooms are traffic cones, and wheels rule the world. Honestly, this section of the park messed with my head a bit. I felt like it was an optical illusion walking into this section. You really feel like you are walking in the movie. It's amazing how they transformed this and how everything looked exactly how it was in the movie. There is not detail left out, they nailed it right down to the backdrop of the area making the mountains to look like the mountains from the movie. One thing you will notice too is just how small Radiator Springs really was in terms of town layout. There are lots of things to do here, you just need to be on the lookout. Each nod to the movie is incorporated into the landscape whether it be an attraction, place for food, or merchandise store, they seem to have seamlessly made this work so well.

Yelp
Life could be a dream! Our favorite sunset activity!!!!! When the neon lights come on at Cars Land! Our little interactive event at dust! Make sure to hang around before the sunset and experience the magic of dancing to sh-boom!

Yelp
Carsland is tons of fun! Even for adults. Sure there's the kiddie rides and it is a very kid friendly area, but there's still some fun to be had by the adults. Also, there's lots of great photo opportunities throughout Carsland. You can get photos with the cars character- which is pretty awesome actually. The cars make noise and stuff too. There's plenty of food options and lots of shopping in this part of the park. If you love the Cars movies, this is the place for you! :)
google avatar

Joel B.

Yelp
This was awesome. I like cars. Both the movie and in general. I loved this place. It was fun. I liked that they made everything look just like the movies. The mountain backgrounds were so cool. i made my wife ride every ride. Even the kids ones. Even the ones that were basically the same ride over and over. Mwahaha. It was funny.

Yelp
Cars Land puts guests in the world of Disney's hit movie Cars. Get your kicks on route 66 right here at DCA. The land is adorable. Some of the most iconic moments from the first Cars movie reside here. Attention to detail throughout the land. Everything in this land screams Disney's Cars. The businesses found in the first movie are found here. Decorations are reminiscent of classic Route 66. Cars Land gets decked out for Halloween. The holiday changes are festive and creative. I loved looking at all the ways Cars would celebrate Halloween. There are safety cone and gas can pumpkins, spider webs made of chains, and other child friendly "spooky" Cars. Rides are another opportunity for guests to experience the movies. While Cars Land is geared towards younger visitors, whole family enjoyment was considered in the creation of this land. Along with the kiddie rides, there is also Radiator Springs Racers. Radiator Springs Racers takes riders on a fast-paced ride through Radiator Springs. Cars Land has several eateries. Cruise by Flo's V8 Cafe for 1950's, diner style, favorites. Fillmore's Taste-In has healthy snacks. Cozy Cone Motel has five walk up windows of food. Each cone has different offerings. One of the cones has special drink options for those 21 and over. Eclectic roadside shops pepper Route 66. The souvenir shops in Cars Land resemble those shops. As expected, merchandise in the stores is primarily Cars themed. Each store has slightly different items. The shops do have pin trading boards.

Yelp
Radiator Springs in Cars land has one of the best rides! Best to arrive and ride at night. Don't forget to smile and pose for the pic during the ride. Snap the picture with code afterwards so you can download it onto the Disneyland app. So fun!

Yelp
My husband and I came here for the sole purpose of riding radiator springs racers-(reviewed separately). but was blown away by everything we saw. Entering Radiator springs via US Rt 66 I loved the attention to detail as shown by Fios V8 cafe and the Cozy cone motel. Although I have not seen the movie I can see why people say it is a great reproduction of the things in the movie. We stopped at Surge's surplus gift shop where I was finally able to find car themed T shirts for my husband and son. Check here for cardmember discounts especially if you are using the Chase Disney Visa. We didn't see any characters however there was a photo pass photographer by the billboard sign so we stopped for a few pictures. We walked by Luigi's rocking roadsters which appeared to be a kid's ride. Would have tried it but the line was too long. We also saw Mater's junkyard jamboree which is the only other ride here besides those listed. It is truly a full immersive area, that gives you the feel that you are truly in the cartoon. Perhaps the greatest shot I got was of the AZ boulder desert that was framed by a boulder when we were leaving Pacific coast-about to be renamed SanFranoyko Square. I loved the parked car and the statue in front of Radiator springs garage. Take the time to enjoy this section of the park whether or not you plan to ride. Located near the back of Disney's CA Adventure park.

Yelp
I'll be honest. I had never seen Cars before coming to Cars Land for the first time, so I wasn't aware of how closely it resembled Radiator Springs! My group also stopped to eat at Flo's V8 Cafe and my god, it looks exactly like the cafe in the movie! I finally got to watch Cars once I flew back home and was sad that I couldn't appreciate what was right in front of me when we were walking through this part of the park as much. However, once I go back, I know I'll be more excited to walk around Cars Land and take more photos here. It was a fantastic movie that I regret not watching sooner.

Yelp
Cars Land is decorates for both Halloween and Christmas. Be sure to look up the sunset time and come watch the lights turn out. There's Cozy Cones to grab various treats and always a great themed land in Disney's California Adventure!
google avatar

Yelp
As a pseudo immersive experience, this place more than fits the bill. I was disappointed that some of the "shops" from the movie didn't have more movie specific memorabilia nor more detailed props and effects. There could have been so much more to the immersive experience. The three rides that are here, Mater's Junkyard Jamboree, Luigi's Rollickin Roadsters and the Radiator Springs Racers are entertaining. Smaller riders will be limited to the first two and the stand by line for the last is really long (up to 2 hours). On occasion, Mater and Lightning McQueen come out for pics. At other times, Sally the Porsche or the DJ car come out. My 4 year old, who was done with any rides, loved taking pics with Mater and Lightning and just watching everyone walk by. We settled on some souvenir shopping and dinner at Flo's to round out our immersive experience and enjoyed Radiator Springs and Cars Land just like Lightning did in the movie. Just ask my 4 year old...

Yelp
Came here a couple of time and have absolutely enjoyed it. Enjoyed the rides and the shops that are in Cars Land. Have yet to try the food that are the restaurants there. Will be coming back to try it on the next trip. It's even nice at night with the lights on.

Yelp
What can I say about Cars Land other than how amazing it is and how overly detailed everything seems to be in this section of Disney's California Adventure. The theming is amazing and it really makes you feel like you are stepping foot into Radiator Springs, with every store, shop and their cute little Cozy Cone hotel, becoming a thing of reality here. It is as if you stepped right into the movie and traveled to a time where neon lights are all the rage again! This section of the park has 3 rides, two of which are kid rides (that are still amazing and fun for anyone of any age) and a thrill ride that is similar to getting into a car and racing around town with the windows open. They have a handful of areas you can buy food in and I have to say that Flo's café in this section of the park has one of the greatest milkshakes I have ever had. I easily recommend that if you are going to California Adventure for the day, that you need to stop here and try all the rides and a few foods out because this place is unlike any theme park section you have experienced before!
google avatar

Samantha B.

Yelp
Cars Land is designed like Radiator Springs. It's just fun to walk around and look at all the cool ways they've brought the movie to life. I didn't really care for many of the rides, but it was a fun place to get pictures.

Yelp
Cars is one of my son Leo B.'s favorite movies, and I honestly have no estimate for the amount of money this franchise has cost me. My house is full of Cars toys, Cars sticker books, and Cars apparel, and when we took a family trip to Disneyland a few weeks before Leo's third birthday, we bought four full-priced adult park hopper tickets because we wanted our boy--who is too small for the majority of the rides at either park--to meet Lightning McQueen. And it was totally worth it! Cars Land is an amazing place. It looks exactly like Radiator Springs, with Luigi's tire shop and Flo's cafe and the Cozy Cone all where they are in the movies. The experience is fun and immersive, with plenty of great photo ops. There are also rides, including Radiator Springs Racers, a really fun one that I did not ride this time around. I tried to sell Leo on the toddler-appropriate Mater's Junkyard Jamboree, but he's weirdly terrified of the tractors (if we don't fast-forward past them in the movies, he runs to another room), so that was a no go. He just loved walking around Radiator Springs. There was a little Guido by the tire shop and he took a picture with him, grinning the whole time. He also got to meet Lightning McQueen and Mater, who were not stationary attractions but moving, talking, full-sized cars. We had to wait in line for Lightning and barely made it in before he had to leave for an oil change. Cars Land was a definite highlight of Leo's first Disneyland trip. He still talks about it over a month later, and I don't regret spending that park hopper money. It was worth it just to watch my little boy explore Radiator Springs.

Yelp
Cars Land. This is my favorite area at Disney. The Disney designers did an awesome job of bringing Radiator Springs to life. It's pretty magical walking through here especially at night., The neon signs are lite up. Well faux neon that looks like the real deal. The Ornament Valley mountain range is pretty realistic looking from afar. At night, it's aglow with its red rock formations. The mountain peaks are in the shape of Cadillac car fins from the 1950-1960s. The rides: +Radiator Springs Racers +Luigi's Rollicking Roadsters +Mater's Junkyard Jamboree Food: +Flo's V8 Cafe- They serve a mean fried l chicken... ohhh so good. Don't forget they served burger, fries, and shake. +Cozy Cone Motel- They have you covered for snack food... popcorn, churros, chili and Mac n cheese cones, pear o dice soda, root beer floats, alcoholic lemonade, and soft serve. +Fillmore's Fruit stand- You can get a whole pickle. Shopping: +Ramone's House of Body Art +Sarge's Surplus (it was closed when I visited) Sights: + Don't forget to check out the fountain at the end of the street. Lighting McQueen may be chillin next to it. +Take a selfie with Mater. He is a chatty fella.

Yelp
One of the only places in California adventure that I can actually lose myself in. I mean this place makes you feel like your actually there. It's just some immersive. My favorite land to just walk around and hang out in. The music selection is phenomenal. I always spend a lot of time in cars land.

Stanley S.

Yelp
In a sea of hits and misses, this is definitely a hit. Geared mostly to the younger set, it is still very entertaining for adults. Thee are only a few rides here but the care and thought put into the "land" is what Disney does best. Our 3 year old grandson absolutely loved it. I enjoyed the diversity and in particular thought the Meet and Greets were far superior to the other areas of DL/Cal Adventure. If you go, be sure to see the lights on at sunset- magical.

Yelp
Fantastic at night and extra special during Halloween. Loved every aspect of it. Can't wait to visit again next year.

Yelp
Eats. Cozy Cone Motel is a fun spot to get snacks. Don't look at it like a sit down counter service place and you'll enjoy it greatly. Fun and unique flavors hopping from cone to cone to try new & exciting snacks. Fillmore's Taste-In - Sick of all the deep fried and fatty goodness? This stand has you covered with fruit and more healthy snacks. Flo's V8 Cafe - I just love the theming here. It's like an old timey drive in diner. One great thing about Flo's is they also serve breakfast. This quick service restaurant has sandwiches, fried chicken, pot pies and salads. Really a little something for everyone. Rides. Radiator Springs Racers - One of the most fun rides in all of Disneyland (just behind for me). It's fast and thrilling, plus they take your photo while on it. Mater's Junkyard Jamboree - A cute one for the kiddies. Warning: It spins. Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters - Another cute ride for children, but this is a spinning one again so Ma & Pa may need to sit this one out. Great photo ops throughout! This land is fully immersive and one of my favorites in both the parks. If you get lucky, you may see some Cars 'characters' rolling through the land!
google avatar

Kevin W.

Yelp
Radiator Springs!!! One of the best land set ups I have seen. Only Star Wars comes in comparison. Exactly what you see and picture when you watch the movies. I loved this place when they first opened years ago. Now my kiddos who love the movies are so amazed when they come. When the characters appear, it is the best. Everyone gets excited. One of the most popular rides at CAA is still Racers. Great kiddo rides here. Good eats.
google avatar

Yelp
My number one ride whenever I'm in California Adventures! You'd think that under the scorching summer weather in California would make looking at a desert themed ride feel like a tragic decision, but I'd imagine this is how it would feel like to be transported in Arizona just like the film! Every second on the ride truly feels like you're in the movie. I love all the details they put in every scene and the race at the end of the ride really tops it off!
google avatar

Heather K.

Yelp
Bad bad Yelper! I have been to DCA and especially Cars Land for YEARS, and only just reviewing it now. I was planning another trip this past March 2020 for a birthday celebration, but sadly that is now indefinitely postponed. My one and only MOST IMPORTANT recommendation would be to get yourself a fast pass for Racers as soon as you get there. I know they do offer Single Rider, but in case that isn't an option for you for whatever reason you have your FP to fall back on. Be sure to get your picture taken at the front of Cars Land before you go in. It's quite the photo op! As you walk down Route 66 it really does feel like you're in the movie! I know there has been a lot of movement (no pun intended) with the attractions in CL, so I am not 100% sure which is what as of 2020. Mater's Junkyard Jamboree is a pretty cute attraction and I cannot recall what's the latest with Luigi's. I haven't yet eaten at Flo's (for shame!) but I love to shop at the Route 66 gift shop right across from Luigi's. Also, don't forget to stop at the Cozy Cone either before or after Racers! You'll love it here! Enjoy!

Yelp
The optics of Car's Land truly feel like it was plucked from the Car's movie. An incredibly film-accurate place!

Yelp
This place is epic. This most amazing world, you are literally transported to Radiator Springs, and it is a place you want to stay for a very long time. I have such fond memories when the original Cars movie came out, my kids were obsessed. I bought so many clothes, toys, food, accessories dealing with cars, this would have been life altering if this world had been around when the kids were younger. We even stayed at Art of Animation at Disney World where they have an entire area/ hotel dedicated to these characters, so this was the next natural step for us to visit and it was worth every penny to get here. The Radiator Springs Racers is hands down one of the best rides at Disneyland period! It is epic! So that was amazing in itself. The other rides looked adorable. I did not get to go on them but just looking at the detail of each character was amazing. The architecture of the buildings, the rocks, and the landscape is so awesome, it all looks so realistic. It is breathtaking. The food here is delicious. We tried the iconic bacon mac and cheese cone, it was way better than the imitators out there. I have been to other places that offer this dish and Disney wins in flavor and theming. The character encounters here off the hook amazing. My daughter was so impressed with meeting Mater and Lightening. These are actual cars that can drive around and also talk and interact with you. It is beyond amazing. If you are a car fan, this is a must see destination.
google avatar

Ann T.

Yelp
I have NOT seen a single "Cars" movie (nor have I seen the "Planes" movie lmao) and I can still say that this is the best "land" at Disney California. For Halloween and Christmas, they go ALL out at Cars Land. Each restaurant, ride, and character is themed after the holidays and it's perfect for multiple photo opportunity! Even when it's not the holidays, this area is gorgeous when it's night time with all the lights. It really makes you feel like you're at a stop at Route 66 and the night life is there! The neon lights, street lights, and the hustle and bustle really add to the theming here. Cars Land also has one of the high queue rides, "Radiator Springs Racers". A definite must for a fast pass. Although I've had a huge miss with Lube-O-Rama, Cars Land houses the absolute GOAT, my FAV food stop at the entire park. The Cozy Cone Motel, you can never go wrong with the cones, popcorn, and their seasonal specials. Look inside the little building in the middle when it's Halloween or Christmas, it's usually decorated inside too. A definite, definite place to explore and take pictures at. Even if you're not a fan of the movies or know nothing about them!
google avatar

Christine L.

Yelp
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this area of the park. It's so bright and fun! The play on places from the real world is awesome. I've been to the real hotel the cones are based on and it's fun to see the cars version. The ride makes me cry out of overwhelming emotion before the race and the race is exhilarating. The cars are fun to meet too.

Jamie B.

Yelp
RADIATOR SPRINGS RACERS ONLY: I don't care how big of a Cars franchise/ Lightening McQueen fan you are, this ride is not worth the time spent in line. It is run incredibly inefficient. Close to 3 hours in line for a ride that quotes 85 minutes is unacceptable. There are plenty of other fun and interesting things to do in Cars Land & California Adventure. Don't waste your time on Radiator Springs Racers. Move on to actually enjoying your day and time.

Yelp
Cars Land... One of my favorite places in California Adventure!!! My daughter and I have visited California Adventure multiple times. We recently went back to Cars Land over Thanksgiving break. My daughter is a huge Cars fan. It's super exciting to go over the Holidays because Disney, really brings the Holiday theme into Cars Land. Matter's Jamboree becomes a Jingle Jamboree, and Luigi's Ride is also decked out for the Holidays. It Luigi even sings Holiday themed songs. Its quite a experience in Cars Land over the seasonal Holidays! Tip: If you have Fast Pass on your ticket, and your in California Adventure or Disneyland with a Multi-Pass; you want to ride Radiator Springs Racers, queue first thing in the morning, especially during the holidays. By the time it turns 1:00 P.M, most of the fast passes are gone for Radiator Springs. There are three rides in Cars Land 1) Radiator Springs Racers 2) Mater's Jingle Jamboree (Holiday) 3) Luigi's Dancing Cars Ride. My daughter loves all three rides. She'd give a 5* on all of the rides. Above, I've ranked each ride you should do in Cars Land, in order. Radiator Springs Racers is a cars ride which you're essentially riding in a car, 3 front, 3 in back through radiator springs. Towards the end, you end up racing another car. The speed actually picks up and there are a few note worthy small drops on the ride. Super fun though! It's got a lot of angles on the ride during the race part. If it wasn't for the long wait, I'm sure that my 6 year old daughter would ride this ride over and over again! Mater's Jingle Jamboree, you ride in one of mater's carts. There are two loading areas. It's essentially a tea cup ride, where you have a lot of tight, small turns that may get you dizzy. Fun ride. The wait is approximately 20 minutes. (Check out my review for the Mater's Jingle Jamboree). Luigi's Dancing Cars Ride. There are a wide variety of cars placed throughout the ride. It goes in slow motion to the song and towards the end, you twirl around in a circle really fast. (Check out my review for Luigi's Dancing Cars Ride). Super fun, love Cars Land! Great food selection too. You've got the V8 Flo cafe, Cozy Cone, and a few other carts scattered through-out Cars land. There is one store, towards Radiator Springs, where you can pick up Cars themed merchandise. My daughter picked up a Mater shirt (gray) when we were in Cars land a few years ago. If you're in California Adventure, you need to stop by Cars Land! It's a requirement!

Samantha S.

Yelp
Cars land has the best ride ever made. Radiator Springs is the funnest ride. We try to go on it as much as possible. We will do single rider and we each get on a separate car so we don't have to wait as long. The line is worth the wait even on scorching hot days. It usually doesn't run when it's raining and it does break down a lot.
google avatar

Yelp
My Children and I are huge fans of Cars. Disney did an amazing job at perfectly recreating almost every part of Radiator Springs. Without skipping a beat, we were on the fast track to the best ride of Cars Land, the Radiator Springs Racers! If you don't pull fast passes at opening, around noon is normally when they are all out for the rest of the night. Then you're left waiting in a 90+ minute line! Within Cars Land there are memorable landmarks like Flo's V8 Cafe, The Cozy Cone Motel, Luigi's, Mater's Junkyard, Fillmore's, & Lizzie's souvenir shop. We were able to catch a little dance show with DJ and his crew of racers. It was fun and interactive with dancers pulling children in to join them. We ate at Flo's V8 Cafe a couple times. Picked up things from the Cozy Cone to munch on as well. Fillmore's looked interesting but his groovy and psychedelic vibes are too cool for me lol. Throughout the park grounds there are little info stations where you can pick up free buttons. At the entrance into Cars Land there's a station there. We were able to get a "Happily Ever After" one! Also right across the walkway is where the Cars Land sign is located. There is always a line of groups waiting to get their photo opp. Of course I definitely recommend coming especially to stroll through Cars Land. But no one needs anyone to tell them that to sway their decision. It's a no brainer, Cars Land is great and even if it's not your favorite show, everyone can enjoy something here!

Yelp
I would give this area of the park a easy 5 stars but unfortunately they messed up their ride in cars lane to favor the wealthy. they don't offer free passes for this ride. You have to spend 20 dollars to jump the line. those who spend 20 dollars get to skip the huge 2-3 hour line and get on the ride 100 times faster. those who spend the money get to be a priority over all those who have been enduring the long wait so those who get to skip the line get to get on the ride first even when they get to skip the lane as well. We are already spending 25 for genie pass as well which doesn't do much. Disney is starting to favor the wealthy instead of the overall family. Cars land is definitely the best looking park addition to Disneyland. They have vibrant neon lights and a beautiful vintage town from the cars movie to scale so it makes you feel tiny. It's a very unique experience you can't have anywhere else! I still love it I just hope they fix the ride system so it's more equal!

Yelp
Advice from a SoCal resident. Go early! Go early, go early. Parking opens at 7:00 am. California Adventure opens at 8:00 in the summer. Check opening times each day The lines and wait times today were much shorter that days we arrive after Noon. Enjoy!

Yelp
Cars Land would make even the most anti-Disney person a fan. This place is absolutely amazing. You actually feel like you are in the movie. Every ride in Cars Land is so much fun too! Radiator Springs Racers clocked in at about 4 minutes and was unbelievable! This entire section Disney California Adventure was my favorite part of both Disney parks.

Yelp
Cars Land in Disney's California Adventure is probably the first totally immersive land I have seen in all the years we have been going to the Disney Parks. It is so beautiful and the Imaginears did an excellent job of making you feel like you were actually in Cars with Lightening McQueen and friends. The details are spectacular, everything from the rides to the scenery is just breathtaking. There are plenty of rides and shops to mosey on through during your visit. Our favorite is Luigi's dancing cars, so much fun for the family. As your car dances around the trackless area you feel compelled to dance and sing along as well. The Cozy cone is filled with fun, themed food (one even served in edible cones) all of which we have tried have been super tasty. Cars Land is not only beautiful in the daylight but once evening hits and they have the "lighting ceremony" it is truly spectacular. Our family loves everything Disney and the Parks are special to us o matter which part/land we are in but Cars Land was wonderfully done and just a feel good place to hang out in.

Yelp
Awesome! I enjoyed walking around Cars Land even though I didn't know anything about the movies other than a second sequel, Cars 3, was released on June 16, 2017. What can I say, my daughters were more interested in watching Disney princesses rather than cars. So I walked in Cars Land not knowing what it was all about. What I saw: first, we walked down Route 66 entering a town called Radiator Springs. The landscaping took me back to our own personal road trips in AZ driving on Route 66 and heading to the Grand Canyon. Very cool. We headed straight to our first ride, Radiator Springs Racers. The ride experience will be on a separate review. Secondly, Cars Land had entertainment and things to do including Character Meet & Greets. Right in front of the Cozy Cone Motel is the main character meet-and-greet location for Cars Land and Lightning McQueen, Mater, and Tiny Lugsworth (fire truck #17) take turns parking in this spot for photo opps. Also, there is an oldies dance party that happens several times in the day in the main crossroads (DJ's Dance and Drive). There are shopping and places to eat at Cars Land as well. Thirdly, while Cars Land is beautiful during the day, it is a sight to see at night when the neon signs light up the southwestern landscape. We revisited Cars Land at night, the authentic neon lights come on up and down Route 66. It was so cool and I even had a chance to take a photo with the staff at Flo's V8 Cafe. Cars Land is inside Disney California Adventure and is very popular and often very crowded so it's best to plan your day. What we did was we got our FastPass for Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout first (long lines just for the FP) then we headed to Cars Land right after. Review #0774

Yelp
Cars Land is the best "land" within the entire Disneyland/California Adventure Theme Park and Resort. Accept no imitations! Within Cars Land you can enjoy some fantastic Cars themed rides, the best of which is Radiator Springs Racers. Radiator Springs Racers is a fantastic blend of a fun cruise with Cars themed twists and turns followed by a fantastic race around the beautiful outdoor track in the gorgeous Route 66 themed Cars Land! Also, Cars Land has great snacks in the Cozy Cone Motel. If you're looking for a delicious dinner, check out Flo's Cafe! I recommend the chicken dinner, but be advised that you may want to split the meal with your better half! Cars Land is always a must hit in all of my visits to Disneyland and California Adventure! Cheers!

Yelp
Cars Land was one of my favorite additions to California Adventure. I'm a huge automotive enthusiast, and Disney fan, so this was a match made in heaven for me. I remember loving the movies when I was younger, and to see Radiator Springs come to life, gives me life. The level of detail, from everything you see, hear and smell is incredible. One of the things I love most, is the team went as far as to use plants from the desert region. One in particular creosote bush, has an amazing fragrance that immediately takes your senses to the beautiful southwest landscapes. The food options are great, even for vegetarians, and the entries being located on 2 (eventually 3) sides is very convenient. Cars Land will forever be one of my favorite places to be anytime of year. If you visit during Halloween or the Holidays. You'll be in for an even more special treat. They go as far as to theme decorations for both times of year to automotive cartooning. It's amazing!

Yelp
Spectacular pretzel cones with Mac and cheese. This is a must when coming to California Adventure. Perfect to eat on the go and waiting on line. Tried the new slow cooked Halloween special and it was delicious!

Yelp
I actually didn't find this land to be interesting. Maybe because I never liked any of the Cars movies. It was just super cool to be able to walk through Radiator Springs like what you saw in the movie, but most of the rides were kids oriented, such as the teacup-ride-like two: Luigi's and Mater's. And the only interesting here for me was the Racers but it always had a long line so I needed something else to keep me entertained as I was waiting for my fast pass time. There were just too many stores and restaurants.

Yelp
This is without a doubt, the land that turned California Adventure around. If you are a fan of the Cars movies, you will love it! Just walking down the street into Cars land really transports you there. You honestly feel like you are in Radiator Springs! The detail put into this land by the people at Disney is simply phenomenal! It is a place that the whole family will enjoy. Maters Junkyard jamboree is a fun one for the kids for sure. The crown of the land is of course Radiator Springs Racers. It's always a fun ride. Just be prepared for long wait times. If you don't have fastpass or want to do the single rider line, it's usually a pretty long wait. It's definitely worth the wait. It's such a fun ride for all ages. The one ride they just can't seem to get right is Luigis rollickin roadsters. Its a ride that is simply boring. I don't even waste my time with it. Hopefully they will correct that one flaw in the land.

Yelp
I will make the long walk from Disneyland to California adventure for the crazy cones area! Why? Apple Freeze Drink and the Chili Cheese Cone! I swear by it! And so do all my friends that I've introduced to these delicacies. So the apple freeze is extremely sweet and refreshing on a hot day. It's not just pure sugar and it genuinely tastes like you're slurping on a bunch of magical apples. The froth at the top isn't regular whip cream either. Instead, it's light and balances out the frozen sweetness. Trust me! I've tried both types of cones (bacon mac and cheese + chili cheese cone) and I promise you that the chili cheese cone is better! It has a lot more texture than just a stuffing of mac and cheese. The beef and sauce packs amazing flavor! The dough from this cone is super soft and easy to bite off. The crunchy fritos works really well with this too. I usually hate anything with chili in it, but this is definitely an exception in my book! Unfortunately, this place doesn't apply for season passholder discounts. But it's still worth it. Lines are always long here!
