What a great atmosphere. Busy and lively and with wonderful musicians playing. The food was expensive but then you are paying for the experience. Food was tasty but not amazing. I'd booked the main room and asked for a nice table as it was my birthday and we were stuck in a corner behind a pillar, I was a little disappointed by this as couldn't see the musicians, however the tables at the front did have people walking in front of them constantly and that would've annoyed me.

Food was great. Order the beef soup, small pork knuckle with beans, and the childhood cake. All great. Also, Elena was so great! Really attentive and kind. I’m a solo traveler, but she took care of me and her other tables all efficiently. Highly recommend this place and her service!

This restaurant is very beautiful and extremely popular. You definitely have to have reservations. It’s ranked #7 legendary restaurants in the world. The food was good, not amazing. I got the pork knuckle for one and my husband got smoked pork and sausage. Both of our meats were on the dry side. Both of us loved the sauerkraut (cabbage). It was very delicious!! My husband also had the bean soup in the bread bowl and he loved it! For dessert we had the cake with homemade ice cream with cherry sauce, and that was very tasty. Our server was good, considering how extremely busy the restaurant was today. I do recommend going to this place.

Beautiful place. Food was really good. The ribs were cooked to perfection. There was a performance going on while we were having lunch so that was great timing. Also on another occasion tried their lunch menu which was absolutely value for money. The portions were big. As long as you're not going during holidays where it's extremely busy, service will be quick.

Marius was exceptional he kept checking to make sure everything was good and he was very polite. I highly recommend this place it isn't a tourist trap at all. It's amazing and I really enjoyed it the food was amazing. Definitely check it out if you're in Romania.

The waitress Maria was very nice and helpful. Very smiley and kind with us and our children. The food was amazing! The atmosphere was very pleasant and beautiful. 🤩 I feel the Christmas spirit because of the decoration! We will visit it again! ❤️

All I can say is WOW WOW WOW. We hadn’t booked on a Friday night and so we had to wait 1 hour to be sat they said we had to wait by the bar which was weird and that we couldn’t leave. Nonetheless we sat with a drink and then that’s when entertainment started it was absolutely fabulous we danced and we sang. We then sat down for our meal which was delicious 10/10. The portions were big and the food was tasty! Would Defintely recommend this place and Gabriel the waiter was amazing!!

Stunning restaurant in a historic building from 1879. The interiors are so impressive. The food is lovely, we had two delicious traditional soups, one served in bread. Service was good. The place was super busy, it's a good idea to book in advance!
