A Carvoaria

Visited on October 2025, Thursday, 12NN (opening) This was the last meal we had in Lisbon and I regret that we didn’t go here any time earlier. Hands down the best meal we had our entire stay. Affordable food for how big the serving is and how AMAZING the food is. But what’s better is how good the service was. I was nervous that they would not be able to accommodate us because when we arrived, we were the only tourists, it felt very local. But our server spoke good English and was very friendly. Recommendations: veal and shrimp skewer, the pork lined with bacon skewer (recommended by our server and was so good!), ribeye, mushroom risotto, baked bacalhau. One of the highlights of our trip. Whenever I think about this Lisbon trip, I will think about this restaurant fondly.

Very good meat, nice staff and very nice experience! We ate inside and lack a bit ventilation. A bit more for the expensive side comparing with other local restaurants but really worth if you like good meat

We stumbled upon this place by accident and had no expectations, but it turned out to be an amazing spot for meat lovers. The meat was absolutely perfect - I definitely want to come back here at least once more.

Truly sensational steak and skewers. The service was fast, efficient and personable. The food was superb. The dry aged ribeye was the best I've ever tasted. Great selection of starters and sides too.

I have eaten at this restaurant three times in the last week. I cannot recommend this restaurant more highly. The two items on the menu in the pictures below are my favourite.

Ribeye steak was great and had no complaints though they didn’t indicate how many days aged. The veal and shrimp skewers were not as good for us, I thought veal was meant to be tender but it looked undercooked and quite red while still being tough. Mushroom risotto was perfect and the lime cheesecake at the end was nice and light, not heavy at all to end the meal with. The female server was very friendly and when she learnt about us being Singaporeans she waxed lyrical about our founding father which we loved of course! Obrigada!

Amazing local restaurant. You can tell that there are only locals and tourists who did their research. Very affordable high quality meat. The risotto was also amazing

I went in to try 3 different steaks. All were great. They initially serve a table full of starters (not free) but after I told them to take them away they make no fuss about it so all good.
