Luis is an exceptionally helpful owner, arranging and explaining everything for us on our first visit to Cuba. He organised taxis and made a booking at a very popular restaurant (San Cristobel), and advised us where to buy high quality Churchill-sized cigars (the National Hotel).||The Casa is decorated in a completely unique way with many many collected items. Breakfast was excellent and extensive, just make sure you're clear if you want Americano style coffee if that's your preference over expresso! We also ate dinner in one evening and it was delicious and well presented. Our room (number 3) was very comfortable and quiet.||The location was a 10 minute walk from the old town and main tourist area in an area where most of the buildings are sadly in need of major repair. We walked a lot during the day and night without feeling the slightest bit unsafe.||We unreservedly recommend Casa 1932.

We arrived in Havana on the last day of the power grid outage, but even with that Luis and his family at Casa 1932 were able to give us a cold beer and a warm welcome. His generator ensured there was light in the guesthouse even though the rest of the street was dark. Great dinner and breakfasts, fascinating vintage Cuban decor, excellent location in Havana Viejo, and extremely helpful information from Luis make this an ideal location from which to explore Havana.

If you want to experience Havana with style and comfort this is the place. Everyone at 1932 goes the extra mile to assist and advise on what and where to go. The breakfast was great too. The rooms are very grand and clean and functional and it feels like one is staying as a VIP at a proud traditional gorgeous Cuban family home, Highly recommended.

We stayed at Boutique Casa 1932 & what a great place. Our friendly host & owner Luis greeted us with a nice cold beer in a frosty glass. The Casa from 1932 was amazing with a lot of Antique's to look at. It's like going back in time to another era. The ceiling had to be 20 feet high & we had an amazing stay. The Location is close to the malecon so you can walk a couple blocks & watch the sun go down. After sunset we had a drink in the lounge area & Luis was kind enough to bring us a snack. The bedroom also had a fridge & Luis left us 2 bottles of water that we really appreciated. | Breakfast was included with our stay & we loved it. We had coffee, fruit, arepa & an omelette with cheese on the side. We loved the Arepa with honey on it, it was like a pancake. Our breakfast table was so elegant with silverware & fine China surrounded by a vast collection of antiques. Louis also arranged a cab ride to the airport for $25.00 U.S. & he was prompt. I would highly recommend staying at Casa 1932, it's like a step back in time.

A comfortable, clean, safe and hospitable Casa in the heart of Havana central. Luis is a warm and knowledgeable host. The Casa is a wonderful view of 1930s Havana but with modern essentials - good WiFi, safety deposit box and effective Air conditioning. Plus, a limitless supply of complementary drinking water.
Luis has a wealth of advice and information about Havana - including restaurant recommendations. Essential for the first time tourist. It’s also great value. Highly recommended

A beautiful casa particular to stay in with incredibly friendly and helpful hosts! Luis is a big collector, so the casa is full of amazing signs and historical objects that he can tell you all about! And his daughter was very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. The food is fantastic and the room was very comfortable. And there’s decent WiFi which can be hard to find! Wish we could have stayed longer.
