Casa 73

I’ve been to Casa 73 twice now—once for my birthday and once before a Raptors pre-season game and both times were great experiences. The location is ideal, just steps from Scotiabank Arena and Union Station, which makes it really convenient for any occasion. The food has been consistently excellent, from the mains to the desserts, and they offer some really good specials that make it worth coming back for. The mocktails are also a nice touch. The atmosphere feels warm and welcoming, and the service has been friendly and attentive each time. Overall, Casa 73 is a great spot whether you’re celebrating something, going out before an event, or just looking for a nice dinner downtown.

Had an amazing holiday dinner there with friends. Our waiter Dominic was fantastic, so kind and funny - made our experience great. We had the big meatball to start off but it wasn’t our favourite. We had the gnocchi and prosciutto pizza as our mains which were both amazing, large portions and very reasonable. The ambiance was so cute we really enjoyed ourselves.

For us a perfect evening. Hostess was nice and friendly. Dining room was well decorated and classy. Our waiter Roberto was top notch. Arttentive, friendly but not pushy. Food arrived warm and flavourful. We were not rushed so that was nice. Very reasonable prices. This overall experience rarely happens when we go out to restos even at more expensive places so nice to see someone doing it right. Great job Casa 73, we will be back!

Casa 73 delivered a very enjoyable dining experience with a menu that feels both comforting and thoughtfully executed. We tried a wide range of dishes, and the kitchen showed consistency across flavors, portioning, and presentation. The oysters were fresh and clean, paired with classic condiments that let the quality speak for itself. The beef carpaccio was well-seasoned with a nice balance of acidity and richness. The hot dishes were hearty and satisfying — from the handmade pasta to the meat entrées, everything arrived at the right temperature with well-developed flavors. The kitchen clearly understands timing, especially during busy service, as our dishes came out smoothly and without delay. The bar program is also strong. Cocktails were balanced and not overly sweet, with fresh citrus notes and good structure. The wine selection paired easily with the menu, and glasses were served at proper temperature. Service was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Staff checked in at the right moments without interrupting the flow of the meal, and the overall atmosphere was warm and relaxed — perfect for enjoying a long dinner. A solid spot for seafood, pasta, and classic comfort dishes with good hospitality and a lively dining room. Would gladly return to explore more of the menu.

Just came for my birthday, and the food was absolutely amazing! Everything was super delicious and fresh tasting (highly recommend getting the specials of the day), and our server Kimberly was also so great. The restaurant was also renovated very tastefully, and prices were very reasonable. We live close by, so we will definitely be back! Thanks again, can't wait to try other things on the menu!

CASA 73 is exceptional in every manner. It is in most probability ONE of the BEST Italian restaurants in our fine city! It recently opened and definitely a must TRY for any FOODIE. My wife/I stopped by on a recent Saturday night spontaneously and were so happy we did so. We have wanted to visit since they opened but just could not find the time…. We had our newborn baby in tow so we decided to sit on the patio and not bother any other patrons inside the dining room. As much as we wanted to sit inside in the truly beautiful design/setting we thought it would be best to sit outside. It was a beautiful night regardless and we had the entire patio to ourselves- which was beautiful too! Marc Andre served us and he was most professional, informative and personable with his friendly service. He was very attentive to our needs and the fact we had our newborn baby with us as well. Wife/I dined on the grilled calamari for our appetizer and it was delicious- though smaller than what we had hoped for and the price point involved. Our MAINS, however, made up for the smaller appetizer portion. My wife had the Grilled shrimp Spaghetti which was truly divine and I had the Roasted Chicken Supreme which was just as equally delicious too. We also had the La Spiaggia 73 cocktail which had mango puree- our fave! And we finished off our wonderful meal with some Neapolitan Gelato- which was the perfect finish to a delightful meal/service night out. We did not plan the dinner or even make reservations ahead of time. It was just a spontaneous dinner out and it was a superb overall experience in a beautiful setting/restaurant. Shout out to Josh and the HOSTESS crew as well. They were ALL very accommodating, welcoming and cognizant our baby girl. Thank you CASA 73. This restaurant offers an amazing and luxurious atmosphere with live music , ideal for date nights, gatherings with friends, or business dinners. Located just steps from the harbour, it’s incredibly convenient with parking available right beneath the building. The food quality is outstanding, with generous portions that truly impress. The fried calamari is a standout—prepared in a unique and flavorful way unlike anywhere else. The seafood linguine is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. Their cocktail menu is creative and well-crafted, and the service is attentive and genuinely warm. A perfect spot for a memorable dining experience.

Writing this as someone who was invited to dinner her and didn't setup the reservation. First of all, the moment you bite down on the food here you will freeze. It is so flavorful I can only describe it as orgasmic. I had a pizza (italian sausage) and some food from bits around the menu. All food was genuinely amazing and I felt like I got my dollars worth and a great dish. The atmosphere is very calm and elegant. I felt welcome but also like I was there to be something more. Very good setting. Nothing outstanding besides that though. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. 4.5/5 place with 5/5 food.
