Casa Alamillo Hotel Boutique & Spa

This small boutique hotel is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding—easily some of the best I’ve ever experienced. The staff are incredibly friendly and go above and beyond to make you feel completely at home. Their warmth and attentiveness truly set this place apart. The atmosphere is serene and peaceful, making it the perfect spot to rest and recharge. The hotel’s pool is lovely, clean, and just the right size for a relaxing swim. One of the highlights of our stay was breakfast. Everything was delicious, but the homemade jam and butter served afterward were the cherry on top—a delightful and personal touch that made the meal unforgettable. If you’re looking for a quiet, charming retreat with impeccable service, this is the place to stay. Highly recommend it—I can’t wait to come back!

Excellent place to stay and relax for a long weekend. Service was outstanding and the common spaces were beautifully decorated and well preserved. The owner is welcoming and has great eye on detail. Google maps directions are not acurrate make sure you ask hotel beforehand. Direct bookings is recommended as room fees is lower and breakfast is included. I can see myself coming back soon. This place is not pet friendly. Thanks for a great stay!

I was shocked to see that on reviewer gave Casa Alamillo 1-star. I was curious and scrolled down to see that it was a great, albeit short, review. I stayed there from 19-24 August 2022. I found Martha and her staff to be incredibly kind and welcoming. The breakfasts were absolutely fabulous and the room itself was amongst the best in terms of bedding and comfort I have ever experienced. I have travelled to 47 countries in my life so far and, during that time, I have stayed at some of the world’s finest hotels. Casa Alamillo is, in my opinion, deserving of being included in that list. Malinalco is a secret gem of a town in the region of Mexico known as “eternal spring” and Casa Alamillo is the best gem of places to stay in this incredibly beautiful and welcoming place!

Amazing hotel!! Incredible, beautiful and amazing boutique hotel in Malinalco, Mexico. We searched for the perfect spot for our vacation and could not have been happier with the entire experience. The owners greeted us upon arrival and saw to our every need. The food was outstanding!!! Breakfast is included with the room and we had lunch and dinner at the hotel a few times cause we just didn't want to leave! They accommodate special requests and dietary restrictions as well. The meals were fresh, art like presentation and each and every meal we had was incredible. The grounds are full of beautiful flowers, aloes and agaves and it is set in the most amazing setting nestled between the cliffs. The town of Malinalco is a short drive or walk and is a charming little town with cute restaurants and shops. While there we each had a spa treatment two different days and I can say without question was the most amazing experience I have had. The rooms were perfect- every need is addressed including this oil diffuser machine next to the bed that we loved so much we ordered one that is set to arrive in a few days!!! The choices are top notch - from the linens in the room to the pool towels. They have a wonderful wine selection and a full bar as well all at your disposal. The pool was incredible- it is solar heated which keeps it a nice perfect temperature. We can not wait to return- planning our next trip already!!!!

This hotel nestling on the edge of mountains of Malinalco has only 4 guest rooms which makes this place very private and exclusive. Each room is unique and we could feel the touch of care and the pride of ownership.|We stayed in Jade and Beso Suites. Jade Suite is beautiful with large windows and very private with its own balcony. Beso Suite had two oversized rooms with extremely high ceilings with three beds and two bathrooms with showers. |We loved common areas including the pool which was warm and welcoming, and beautifully manicured gardens with breathtaking views of the mountains. |Breakfast was delicious and well presented. Enchiladas with chicken and hibiscus was my favourite. |Martha was very kind and personable and even gave a small gift for our toddler son. All other employees were attentive and pleasant including guard, waitresses and housekeepers. |

We have stayed there as a family with grandma and our lil one (4year old). It was definitely a great 2-day getaway in nature. The host was an amazing lady. She was very welcoming and friendly. She did everything she can to make us happy and comfortable where we stay. I would recommend this place to all couples and families for a lovely weekend getaway or a week where you can enjoy your book, get a great massage, have a delicious breakfast and stroll in downtown Malinalco if you like. Malinalco downtown is 5-7min by car from the hotel. There is no good wifi, but who needs one when you are rebooting/ recalibrating in a secluded gem like Casa Alamillo. Thank you for the beautiful experience that we had as a family.

This is a small beautiful property staffed by attentive friendly staff. Highly recommend this hotel. They offer a tasty breakfast and will cook dinner upon request. They have a nice honor bar open at all times. The pool is warm and relaxing.

This was such a magical place. It made me fell so cozy and at home. The staff was super nice and so attentive. Martha the owner a delight! Our room was beautiful and they even put white roses for us since we where celebrating our marriage. The food wao SOOO GOOD! and the Spa a must such a beautiful space and amazing treatment. My husband also took part in a yoga class which he very much enjoyed and would recommend to anyone. If you are looking for an escape this is the place !
