Casa Alice

Unbelievably nice hotel punching way above its weight. Fabulous big room. Great aircon. Staff faultless. Breakfast spread amazing including full jug of freshly squeezed orange. Eggs cooked to order. Banana fritters etc. complementary drinks and cake. Beautiful pool and everything perfectly maintained.

Amazing place! If you need a rest and the friendliest staff ever, you are at the right place. Nice spacious rooms, quiet area, and bicycles from the hotel to go to the beach or downtown make your visit so easy and stress-free. The staff, along with the owner, is something that you rarely find. So polite, so considerate, so friendly, so smiling - it's healing for the soul. For breakfast, they make their own bread, one of the best I have ever tried. I even got the recipe :-). Thank you all for the beautiful 3 days, how short our vacation was. Checked out this morning and have nothing but praise for Christian and his staff . They are what you hope to have wherever you check in . Friendly , welcoming and professional. You are treated like they really care that you enjoy your stay .|The rooms vary , ours had a bath in the bedroom our friends was like a studio apartment with kitchen and sofa . Pool area is beautiful and quiet , ample space for the number of guests . Breakfast served outside is quality products including fresh squeezed orange and home made bread . |The walk into town was about 20 mins , fairly easy , and Rovinj itself was stunning . |It’s a pity there are not more of these little gems , no hesitation recommending .

We arrived in Rovinj on a whim and found Casa Alice. We were so pleased with the friendly staff and spacious, clean room that we stayed as long as we could (love the bedside bathtub!) The location is quiet and felt like a simple, local neighborhood and the parking was so easy!! The staff seemed to go above and beyond at every turn to make us feel welcome beyond our expectations. The location made it convenient to get into town and they offered the use of bikes and the lovely pool. Their laundry service was perfect and we’d happily come back to stay again!! We loved everything during our stay, the unexpected welcome drink was great, breakfast exceptionally good and everything was served with a smile and huge dedication of the whole team. Keep up guys and all the best;)

While the guest room decor is a bit sparse, everything else about Casa Alice is wonderful. The staff is very friendly and warm. The beautifully maintained pool and garden are so nice after a visit to the warm and somewhat crowded old town area. When we first arrived, I was concerned about the length of the walk into the old town, as it looked quite far to me. But, is truly is an easy 15 minutes downhill. Coming back, maybe 20 minutes in the heat. They also can provide (free) bicycles for the trip. Not a problem at all to get to town, and again, with the pool, getting back was a nice break. The breakfast is amazing, and they recently added gourmet dinners, which we enjoyed thoroughly one night. Our room also had a kitchen set up, so for longer stays, this would be a nice enhancement. I highly recommend Casa Alice for your Rovinj stay.

My husband and I had the most wonder 10 days here. Christian and his staff made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We woke each morning to the most beautiful home cooked breads and cakes and some days we were lucky enough to just sit and chill by the swimming pool. It’s about a 20 minute walk into the old town of Rovinj where there is a good choice of restaurants. It was our first visit to Croatia and Casa Alice but it won’t be our last. We will definitely come back to Casa Alice. The only downside was at the beginning of our stay the weather wasn’t too good, so we sampled Christian’s delicious white wine
