Casa Alice

We just got back from a stay at this beautiful little family-run boutique hotel on the outskirts of Rovinj, and honestly, it was a total gem. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome and genuinely friendly staff made us feel right at home, it’s rare to experience service that personal and caring. The setting itself is gorgeous, tucked away just outside the busy town, so it’s peaceful but still really close to everything. The rooms were super comfortable and tastefully decorated, with a lot of thoughtful touches that made the whole experience feel extra special. But the highlight? The breakfast. Absolutely outstanding, fresh, local, and beautifully prepared, with so much variety and care. It’s the kind of breakfast you actually look forward to every morning and end up lingering over far longer than planned. All in all, it was the perfect little retreat. Can’t recommend it enough if you’re looking for a cozy, welcoming spot near Rovinj with that authentic, personal touch. We’re already thinking about when we can go back!

Excellent accommodation! Superb hospitality! It’s only a short distance walk to the main town. The place is quiet, serene with bird chirping and trees singing. Room is spacious, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast is awesome with newly baked breads and pastries. So many other options like fruits, ham, yogurts, too. Every morning, the house gave me a full jug of freshly squeezed orange juice. I had such an amazing stay here for a few days.

Amazing place! If you need a rest and the friendliest staff ever, you are at the right place. Nice spacious rooms, quiet area, and bicycles from the hotel to go to the beach or downtown make your visit so easy and stress-free. The staff, along with the owner, is something that you rarely find. So polite, so considerate, so friendly, so smiling - it's healing for the soul. For breakfast, they make their own bread, one of the best I have ever tried. I even got the recipe :-). Thank you all for the beautiful 3 days, how short our vacation was. Unbelievably nice hotel punching way above its weight. Fabulous big room. Great aircon. Staff faultless. Breakfast spread amazing including full jug of freshly squeezed orange. Eggs cooked to order. Banana fritters etc. complementary drinks and cake. Beautiful pool and everything perfectly maintained.

Checked out this morning and have nothing but praise for Christian and his staff . They are what you hope to have wherever you check in . Friendly , welcoming and professional. You are treated like they really care that you enjoy your stay .|The rooms vary , ours had a bath in the bedroom our friends was like a studio apartment with kitchen and sofa . Pool area is beautiful and quiet , ample space for the number of guests . Breakfast served outside is quality products including fresh squeezed orange and home made bread . |The walk into town was about 20 mins , fairly easy , and Rovinj itself was stunning . |It’s a pity there are not more of these little gems , no hesitation recommending .

We arrived in Rovinj on a whim and found Casa Alice. We were so pleased with the friendly staff and spacious, clean room that we stayed as long as we could (love the bedside bathtub!) The location is quiet and felt like a simple, local neighborhood and the parking was so easy!! The staff seemed to go above and beyond at every turn to make us feel welcome beyond our expectations. The location made it convenient to get into town and they offered the use of bikes and the lovely pool. Their laundry service was perfect and we’d happily come back to stay again!! While the guest room decor is a bit sparse, everything else about Casa Alice is wonderful. The staff is very friendly and warm. The beautifully maintained pool and garden are so nice after a visit to the warm and somewhat crowded old town area. When we first arrived, I was concerned about the length of the walk into the old town, as it looked quite far to me. But, is truly is an easy 15 minutes downhill. Coming back, maybe 20 minutes in the heat. They also can provide (free) bicycles for the trip. Not a problem at all to get to town, and again, with the pool, getting back was a nice break. The breakfast is amazing, and they recently added gourmet dinners, which we enjoyed thoroughly one night. Our room also had a kitchen set up, so for longer stays, this would be a nice enhancement. I highly recommend Casa Alice for your Rovinj stay.
