We went to Ecuador for a mountain bike trip and stayed 4 nights at Casa Aliso. The staff is very friendly, and the rooms are cute with a bed and breakfast feel. We really appreciated them letting us store our bikes in our rooms (or in their storage room if you like). Also, the eggs to order and fruit in the morning are delicious, and there are several great places to hangout or chill with a book!

Right at arrival and check injerecat Casa Aliso in “La Floresta” district Quito, I knew this was a good hotel choice for me. I chose Casa Aliso for my “downtime” on a 21 day Ecuadorian Adventure. Following a week of intense travel & birding and still another week of Foundation Meetings and then additional intense birding to come; this seemed and then turned out to be the perfect place. I was looking for tranquility, and this beautifully-restored mansion in the laid-back La Floresta neighborhood was perfect for much need rest.||Period details were accented by modern art in the hotel’s common areas; I especially appreciated the gorgeous breakfast room and multiple reading/sitting areas scattered about the main floor. Staff were friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable and clean. Breakfasts, with eggs/omelettes made to order, were excellent. ||The surrounding neighborhood was great for strolling and cafe-sitting, and put me in an easy stroll to and from restaurants, including several of Quito’s best (URKO and Quitu). The beautiful and moving Casa Museo Trude Sojka is just a couple of blocks away. ||I will return here again soon.

I gave 4 stars to the location since it's a bit away from the new Metro but other than that, this was a great place to stay that were reasonable, comfortable, and nice enough. Staffs can speak English and they serve hot breakfast like omelette and scrambled eggs.

Wonderful stay at this boutique hotel. Staff was attentive to our needs and very helpful with any requests we had. Lovely warm feel inside, with a variety of places to relax in. Rooms nice, however, beds are a little hard. Breakfast ok, eggs made to request (scrambled, fried…tomato, mushrooms…),lovely fresh juices. Laundry services if need. A very pleasant stay.

We arrived very, very early on New Years Day 2024 and our hosts Betty and Ana and their team made us feel so welcome! Casa Aliso is in the quiet and beautiful district of La FLORESTA and we enjoyed the convenience of our location (within walking distance or quick cab ride to Centro Historico) and lots of restaurants both trendy/high end and classic street food on a budget. Our complimentary morning breakfast was carefully prepared just for us, with a daily rotation of fresh juices, breads and egg scrambles. The relaxed but elegant common spaces with good access for daytime Wi-Fi made it easy for my partner to work remotely during the day while I got to explore-and we cozied up by the fireplaces on rainy evenings. The beds were comfortable and our room overlooking a sweet garden made the beginning of our trip to Ecuador tranquil. They keep a couple of filtered water devices in the common room which helps beat high altitude fatigue if you’re just arriving-and the hosts speak English and are very helpful at navigating your way around the city. Can’t recommend them highly enough!

This small hotel is excellent for Comfort, Customer Service and Location. Rooms were reasonably priced. Rooms were very comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was simple but more than enough with fresh juices, omelettes, fresh fruit, granola etc. |There were a good selection of lovely restaurants within walking distance of the hotel and shops and parks were within easy walking distance too. |The staff were amazing, so helpful with some really good ideas on how to spend our time in Quito. We liked this hotel so much, we stayed there again at the end of our holiday prior to catching a flight home! |Would definitely recommend and will stay there again when we next visit Ecuador.|

Absolutely charming boutique guesthouse, ideally situated in a safe area of La Floresta near restaurants, shops, markets, and street art. The staff were so kind and welcoming, especially when we arrived late after a long flight and wanted to get settled in Quito. Our room was super comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. I'd definitely recommend Casa Aliso to anyone looking for a good place to stay in Quito.
