Casa Álvaro (Próximo NIXTLI)

Fantastic meal, friendly warm chef, whimsical walls and a chill vibe. The night we ate here one of the staff called out sick so the chef/owner was on the floor making jokes, offering suggestions and being the epitope of restaurateur hospitable. The food was inventive tapas-adjacent with a tasting menu level of technical skill. We had the tomato carpaccio, the lamb shank which fell off the bone, the pork and the squid which came as a little sandwich and was quite a surprise. Every dish was homey and expertly made with love and it was a fantastic value at the prices for the quality of food. 10/10. Hope to go back!

Terrific food and expert service. Food is based on traditional Mallorcan style tacos. But each comes with a distinct culinary twist that makes it quite interesting and absolutely delicious. Nice wines too

Absolutely incredible! This was one of the best meals we've had in Spain. Every dish was beautifully presented, creative and perfectly balanced. Staff were friendly and attentive. The tomato carpaccio was our favourite (100000/10), the cold mussels and squid were tasty and refreshing, the beef with rice (forgot the name) was delicious and so was the steak with hummus. Topped off with the perfect creme catalan foam - think a lighter creme Broulee. Absolutely incredible! Even the bread was amazing! 100000000/10, we hope to be back one day

This is the best meal I have ever eaten! Great for vegetarians too. The service was fantastic, very friendly and knowledgeable staff and the chef also came out to see how the food was. You will not be disappointed. We can’t wait to come back! Lovely atmosphere in a quiet side street!

Third visit, Always my first choice in Soller. Great service. Squid bocata is amazing. Love the bravas and the foam. Book in advance they never have space for walk ups

We found this place randomly after looking for placed with local flavors. Every dish was great, and it’s a perfect place to try a bunch of different small plates. The ensaimada with calamari was deli! We were craving sobrasada and while they didn’t have it in the menu, the chefs surprised us with some from the kitchen! ❤️❤️

The best food we had whilst staying in Soller, every dish was delicious and the service was amazing. The Portuguese waiter was so accommodating and went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed each dish. Would absolutely recommend!
