Beautiful historic hotel with a super friendly staff. Warm greetings every time we walked in the door. Great courtyards to hang out and read. Breakfast buffet with artfully prepared items. I didn't have to stand in line for the omelette station. They insisted on bringing it to my table for me and made sure I had freshly brewed Peruvian coffee always full in my cup.|Great central location for all of the sights in historic Cusco.

This hotel is fantastic, the rooms are big and super comfy, as well the toilet/shower. The breakfast had different options, that in my Opinion is good. Luckily we could have breakfast in the gardens, it was so nice. The staff members were so kind and helpful taking care of us due to the altitude. I would definitely recommend going to this hotel to have a nice time in Cuzco

The hotel gives the impression of a boutique hotel, but is much grander than it looks. There are several attractive internal courtyards where you can relax comfortably at your leisure. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the rooms are spotlessly clean. The hotel is situation in a central location, a short walk from the mains square, Plaza De Armas. A great place to stay for all to do in Cusco and more

This is a really beautiful property with an excellent restaurant. But its greatest asset is its people. Porters William, Valerio, and Erwin are downright superhuman. How in the world they carried all of our luggage I will never know. I really appreciated Valerio practicing his English with me while I practiced my Spanish with him! Ivan made us feel welcome as we tried to get our bearings, giving us suggestions and guidance as we settled. And the restaurant staff, Eduardo, Alan, and Carlos, were particularly attentive. Eduardo took care of us prior to our weeklong trek—and he seemed genuinely happy to see us again upon our return stay. Truly the thing that sets this property apart is its people. Much gratitude to all those seen and unseen!

Really mixed feelings on this hotel… Good: -Breakfast is well done -Housekeeping is friendly -Conveniently located Bad: -The hotel has hot water issues that they blame on a gas shortage. This meant on 2 days we had no hot water and had to take freezing showers. -The front desk staff does not care at all about complaints and ignored my 4 calls to them. I finally had to go down in person and really push to get them to put a new gas tank in for hot water. -Staff tried to double charge me taxes, luckily I had evidence that I had already paid them. -Charging nearly $3/ water bottle when your tap water is not drinkable is crazy. Final Thoughts: -The hotel isnt bad, but it is more like a nice 2 star hotel with good breakfast and limited hot water for showering and nowhere near a 5 star hotel.

Very welcoming staff at reception, restaurant, etc. Super service and always ready to accommodate. Juan in the restaurant treated us very well with nice extra touches such as the selection of delicious chocolate at the end of our meal. A place to come back.

Rooms were comfortable Staff was friendly and polite 1. Housekeeping was good but not as detailed as any other 5 star rated hotel - rubbish were left behind. 2. The stairways at 5am when we had to wake up was dark and not lit. While we tried to becareful, my child still missed a step and fell. Lucky she did not hurt herself but hopefully this doesnt happen to someone else 3. Location is good
