It's the fourth time we've stayed in Casa Andina, and we like it. Food and service are always impeccable with the staff so attentive and aware. They helped us get into.a local dentist as I had issues with my teeth. The massages we had were brilliant (although not an hour as advertised). Rooms are a little tired for a 'Premium' and it's a shame there's a sports TV in the cozy, fire lit bar.

This hotel is not 4*.... Stay somewhere else.. or better still just avoid Puno alltogether as its grim. This hotel is located at the back end of Puno, down a bad dirt road surrounded by half built & derelict plots.. its like Beruit.. as a result the hotel comes equiped with a security guard on its entrance, security cameras and is surrounded by a high wall with electrified wire along the top. Its too far out of town to walk back in and you are trapped in a poor quality hotel with nowhere else to go. The only reason we stayed here is to facilitate a visit to the lake, but I would not repeat the experience! Beyond the cosy looking lobby with open fire at this hotel, the rooms are cheesy, dated and freezing cold in low season with only a tiny portable oil radiator to heat the entire space. We were cold all night and slept in our jumpers and socks. The oil radiator smelled wierd and the room in general smelled wierd. We discovered a load of air fresheners under the bed, so the hotel are obviously aware. The rooms really need TLC and a re-fit. Fixtures, fittings and carpets are tired. Things like kettle with plug that didn't fit the wall socket and when they brought us correct plug it didnt work anyway😂. Bathroom had cracked tiles and ugly looking re-filled holes in the walls, plus a sticking toilet flush...Anyway you get the idea. Breakfast was not great. No freshly brewed coffee to order.. only machine or pre-made in a jug. Pastries were all dried out, there was some dried up wilted bacon in a warmer and scrambled egg that had changed colour from hanging around so long. We'd had such a warm reception and great experience in Cusco that our reception in Puno and this hotel in general was a complete let down by comparison. .. Avoid!

Really good hotel, great staff, good restaurant and food, bar, good view with walk to the water. Location is quiet, safe. Puno is not exactly walkable, so staying at this location away from the crowded part is a welcome and relaxing stay. Room was CLEAN.

Our room was on the smaller scale, just enough space to unpack one bag. Good enough for a short term stay. Clean, everything functioning. Took a while to overcome the habit of dropping used toilet paper into the bowl instead of the provided bucket. Great breakfast buffet and restaurant, friendly and helpful staff everywhere. Don't know why the place is fenced and secured with electric wire, no sign of crime wherever we went in Peru.

Greatly located hotel with a beautiful view on the lake. The rooms are spaceious and there's good rome service. They have some vegan options à la carte and for breakfast the usual. Please mark allergies and diets on the buffet, it would make everything alot easier.

Good hotel close to jetty that takes you out to Titicaca lake. Rooms furnishings are a bit old but some of them comes with a great view of the lake. Breakfast spread is quite normal but take note that they only have hard boiled eggs early in the morning.
