Lovely ground and great services. It pretty cold at night time though and it’s hard to heat up the room with one small portable heater. As it was a bit out of the way so we didn’t have other food options but to dine two nights at the hotel. However, food was actually pretty good as that made it up. Staff was friendly and attentive

It's the fourth time we've stayed in Casa Andina, and we like it. Food and service are always impeccable with the staff so attentive and aware. They helped us get into.a local dentist as I had issues with my teeth. The massages we had were brilliant (although not an hour as advertised). Rooms are a little tired for a 'Premium' and it's a shame there's a sports TV in the cozy, fire lit bar.

Beautiful Casa andina offers a genuinely cozy experience! While not a brand new property, this hotel exudes a warm, family-friendly atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. The highlight has to be the stunning lake views - absolutely worth booking for this feature alone! The rooms provide comfortable accommodation in a charming setting that compensates for the hotel not being the newest on the block. Some amenities and facilities could use updating, but these minor issues don't detract from the overall pleasant experience. The staff maintains the property well despite its age. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with gorgeous natural surroundings rather than ultra-modern luxury, Casa andina delivers a satisfying stay that leaves you feeling refreshed and content.

Terrible location. Hear train honks and stray dogs. Between 1-5am when no train woke up several times from dog fight barks. We paid extra for premium hotels and they said that we had only paid for “garden” view which you can see in the pic, view of construction site, and not for lake view. Not sure why anyone in the right mind book this place. Asked if can walk around and basically was told that it’s dangerous with all the stray dogs and since it’s middle of no where. How water goes and comes, same with Wifi, keeps getting super weak. I am surprised it has 4 stars. Smaller breakfast than any other of the chain, no complementary cookies by the team.

Lovely and safe place The hotel offers comfort stay with a beautiful view on Titikaka lake, small, but nice green territory, big common terrace with tables and sunbeds. ROOMS: convenient room with a comfortable bed and small balcony. The room is equipped with a big safe, fridge with mini-bar, teapot (tea and coffee bags are provided), some snacks for extra payment are available as well. Bathrobes and slippers are provided. There is a heater in the room (good for cold season). LOCATION: direct access to Titikaka. 1h drive from Juliaca airport. FOOD: breakfast buffet 5:30-10am. Good variety of morning dishes: oatmeal, sausages, scrambled eggs, meat and cheeses, hot dishes (chicken and vegetables), fruits, juices. There is a restaurant on site (working till 10pm) with very tasty dishes and a lobby bar (2-10pm) with various liquors and different pisco sour options. FACILITIES: fast wi-fi, taxi service, vending machine. STAFF: professional, friendly, smiley and polite.

Great location away from the city centre, beautiful lake views and amazing staff. The food was delicious 😋

This hotel is not 4*.... Stay somewhere else.. or better still just avoid Puno alltogether as its grim. This hotel is located at the back end of Puno, down a bad dirt road surrounded by half built & derelict plots.. its like Beruit.. as a result the hotel comes equiped with a security guard on its entrance, security cameras and is surrounded by a high wall with electrified wire along the top. Its too far out of town to walk back in and you are trapped in a poor quality hotel with nowhere else to go. The only reason we stayed here is to facilitate a visit to the lake, but I would not repeat the experience! Beyond the cosy looking lobby with open fire at this hotel, the rooms are cheesy, dated and freezing cold in low season with only a tiny portable oil radiator to heat the entire space. We were cold all night and slept in our jumpers and socks. The oil radiator smelled wierd and the room in general smelled wierd. We discovered a load of air fresheners under the bed, so the hotel are obviously aware. The rooms really need TLC and a re-fit. Fixtures, fittings and carpets are tired. Things like kettle with plug that didn't fit the wall socket and when they brought us correct plug it didnt work anyway😂. Bathroom had cracked tiles and ugly looking re-filled holes in the walls, plus a sticking toilet flush...Anyway you get the idea. Breakfast was not great. No freshly brewed coffee to order.. only machine or pre-made in a jug. Pastries were all dried out, there was some dried up wilted bacon in a warmer and scrambled egg that had changed colour from hanging around so long. We'd had such a warm reception and great experience in Cusco that our reception in Puno and this hotel in general was a complete let down by comparison. .. Avoid!
