Casa Andina Premium Puno

The hotel overall is nice, but not sure about 4 stars (although that rating is ambiguous anyway). The rooms are worn with the carpet needing to be replaced. I appreciated the slippers and robes, apparently not all 4 start places offer that. The location is beautiful for the view and the staff were wonderful. Each room I think has a balcony, but I have found hotels in Peru like to keep their rooms warm so I had to leave the balcony door open at night. The location is nice for the view but that is all, far from the center, but I found it to be pretty quiet. Trains only come on certain days. Buffet breakfast was good.

The hotel is nice, the staff really kind and the food for breakfast and dinner good. The pier view is beautiful! The neighbourhood is quite isolated and currently under construction. It will cost you S/15 to get into town. If you have a garden view, the view is actually overlooking the road and quite noisy with the cars and the dogs.

Beautiful location, great scenery and lovely walking dock/pier. The rooms as in Lima just run down and old clearly not a premium hotel. Its more like an old run down Holiday Inn or motel 6.

The service is excellent and the staff are friendly and efficient. The hotel location is fantastic in terms of lakefront views but is not really walking distance to centre of town. Having said that, taxi service is quick and reasonable.

Very nice location directly at the lake with own pier. Very helpful and nice staff. Good and tasty breakfast and dinner.

Lovely ground and great services. It pretty cold at night time though and it’s hard to heat up the room with one small portable heater. As it was a bit out of the way so we didn’t have other food options but to dine two nights at the hotel. However, food was actually pretty good as that made it up. Staff was friendly and attentive

It's the fourth time we've stayed in Casa Andina, and we like it. Food and service are always impeccable with the staff so attentive and aware. They helped us get into.a local dentist as I had issues with my teeth. The massages we had were brilliant (although not an hour as advertised). Rooms are a little tired for a 'Premium' and it's a shame there's a sports TV in the cozy, fire lit bar.
