Absolutely phenomenal stay. We stayed for 1 night and everything was flawless—from a smooth check‑in to spotless rooms with super‑comfortable beds and modern amenities. The staff were warm, professional, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Fantastic location near railway station and shopping, resturants, delicious breakfast, and thoughtful touches throughout. Communication before and during our stay was seamless. If you’re looking for a stress‑free, top‑notch hotel experience, this hotel is the way to go—highly recommended!”

5 minutes walk to the bus station. 10 minutes walk to the train station. Staff were good in English and helpful. They had service to help carrying the luggage from the hotel to the train station when I mentioned my concern because it was a uphill walk. Romucldo asked my train departure time and had his assistant Alex carried the backpack and 1 suitcase for me. We walked to the train station. Alex also helped taking pictures along the route.|| ||||Breakfast was from 5 am to 10 am. I had a quite one for 15 minutes and rushed to to catch the 5:30 bus. I returned from Machu Picchu at 9 :30 am and had the 2nd half of breakfast. Buffet breakfast had lots of choices and was delicious. ||Check out time could be extended 11:30 am. ||I recommend this hotel to everyone if you don't mind the train noise in the evening. It may be possible to ask for train pick up service by emailing the customer service.

I had a wonderful experience at Casa Andina Hotel in Machu Picchu.||I am a light sleeper, and when I checked in on 15/12/25, the room initially assigned to me was on the street side. I asked the reception if a quieter room was available, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful in trying to resolve the issue. They also thoughtfully provided me with a pair of earplugs, which showed great care and attention to guest comfort.||Special thanks to Miriam, Ramualdo, Jennifer, Kelvin, and Alex — they were some of the nicest people I met during my South America trip. I felt truly well looked after and highly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel and OK breakfast that was basic. Staff is friendly and accomaded needs. Bathroom smelled a bit moldy and good to have adapter. Rooms have only USA model. Biggest challenge was basically cardboard thin walls. Some bar was so loud that it easily made major noise until 2am. Another thing we were not informed early was trains. Trains can easily go randomly until 11:30pm so rember to have earplugs. Else that girl bar or whatever will most likely keep you awake. Assuming you are not hard sleeper.

Location is great, very easy access to the touristic interests. |Rooms are clean, new and comfortable. |Staff are amazing, very easy check in/out. |Shout out to Jennifer and Orlando for seamless service and complimentary upgrade to our room. |Not so much noise from the crowd or river.

Casa Andina Standard is okay if you only need a place for one night. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable, and the location is very convenient for exploring Aguas Calientes. Just be aware that the train runs right outside the window, so it can get noisy if you are staying at the front of the hotel. Overall, it’s fine for a quick stop, but don’t expect much beyond the basics.

I don’t know how this hotel got 4.5 stars. Rooms on the train-track side aren’t just occasionally noisy — you’ll get constant ding-dongs, announcements, and trains passing by. When I complained, they offered a different room, but after the Inca Trail hike, we were too exhausted to switch. For any peace and quiet, insist on a room on the opposite side. Whatever you do, consider yourself warned.

Nice stay in a clean comfortable room with a lovely view of the river. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Free filtered water refill machine in the lobby.
