Good clean hotel, located right on the arrival platform. You do hear the trains arriving but wasn't enough to wake me. Good selection at the breakfast buffet that starts at 5am which is great if you want to get a early start. Great size room and great shower thats hot with good pressure. Free bag storage available at reception.

Nice hotel and OK breakfast that was basic. Staff is friendly and accomaded needs. Bathroom smelled a bit moldy and good to have adapter. Rooms have only USA model. Biggest challenge was basically cardboard thin walls. Some bar was so loud that it easily made major noise until 2am. Another thing we were not informed early was trains. Trains can easily go randomly until 11:30pm so rember to have earplugs. Else that girl bar or whatever will most likely keep you awake. Assuming you are not hard sleeper.

I don’t know how this hotel got 4.5 stars. Rooms on the train-track side aren’t just occasionally noisy — you’ll get constant ding-dongs, announcements, and trains passing by. When I complained, they offered a different room, but after the Inca Trail hike, we were too exhausted to switch. For any peace and quiet, insist on a room on the opposite side. Whatever you do, consider yourself warned.

Casa Andina Standard is okay if you only need a place for one night. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable, and the location is very convenient for exploring Aguas Calientes. Just be aware that the train runs right outside the window, so it can get noisy if you are staying at the front of the hotel. Overall, it’s fine for a quick stop, but don’t expect much beyond the basics.

Nice stay in a clean comfortable room with a lovely view of the river. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Free filtered water refill machine in the lobby.

Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms, & a tasty breakfast buffet. I reserved a room facing the river so we did not get disturbed by train noises through the night & morning. We were able to store our bags the next morning when we checked out so we could go to Machu Picchu with just a day pack. Highly recommend this place for a restful stop!

Great experience staying at Casa Andina. The room had large windows with the river view. Amazing to hear the sounds of the water in the morning. Breakfast was good. Beds were comfortable. Close access to the train station and the bus to Machu Picchu. Overall great stay.

Rooms- No thermostat. First floor is right under the train tracks. Echo chamber.
Service- They know you aren’t coming back. They have a picture on the front desk, and behind it is a list of hidden fees. When they charged us $30usd for some random fee, they said “it was listed right here!” And then moved the picture.
Also the dinner menu in the hotel restaurant has like 3 items on it.
Location- Great if it wasn’t for the train that wakes you up. It’s close to the train and the bus.
