Great location and the inner courtyard is a beautiful green sanctuary. However, the Internet is below standard and while traveling abroad for business, it is not robust enough to stay in contact with necessary platforms. They should invest in a substantial upgrade and instead of a series of residential routers get a dedicated business service provider.

I thought this little hotel was delightful. The ambience of the interior courtyard is superb and thoughtful. Our room was a bit monastic but I still thought it was charming. Bonus: you can get one of the five parrots to dance by dancing in front of him (something we discovered by accident)!

I actually love this place. It is a bit older and so atmospheric. The room surround a beautiful garden with huge well established plants. Actually a little piece of in house jungle. Full of birds to entertain you in the mornings and hot afternoons. It is a labyrinth of walk ways moving from one beautiful seating area to the next. Not modern, not new but quaint and tasteful with madonna's mini templos and views over the city. My single room had a double bed and strangely after a year of travelling gave me the best nights sleep in a long time. A firm not to hard mattress and absolutely quiet and peaceful. The room was cleaned meticulously every day. Only shame was that breakfast was not included and the room rate was a bit pricey through Booking. A fantastic location too. Safe and very convenient.

I stayed here with an intrepid group for 2 nights, had a room upstairs with own ensuite. |The communal areas are really nice with lots of greenery and seating. |Rooms are pretty small, quite squishy with two people and luggage. Beds were hard and pretty uncomfortable. |Bathroom was okay, all working but shower was super old and sprayed in all different directions making it difficult to use! Plus they only supplied one bath towel each with no floor mat or face washers which meant the bathroom would get saturated with water leaving footprints and dirt through the room. |Fans were supplied which was handy though. |Some of the staff were lovely and helpful and then some where not. |One of my friends had pretty severe gastro so purchased lots of water from the reception, she then asked if she could refrigerate a hydration drink to which she was met with refusal and that she had to pay $10 pesos if she wanted to use the fridge! Felt pretty petty and rude considering we were guests and she had been purchasing their water. |Laundry was good at $25 pesos per kilo, make sure you write down what you have washed as myself and my friends got our washing back with missing socks and underwear. My top was also mixed up with another guest. ||Wouldn't say it was terrible but would definitely stay somewhere else next time. |

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. I was ill when I arrived and the staff were fantastic - they acted as translators between the doctor and me, and when I was ready to try eating again their veggie soup was delicious.||The courtyard is beautiful and green, and the terrace area was a wonderful place to sit and chat with our tour friends. It was nice to have somewhere to sit, have a drink and eat some pizza rather than feeling we had to eat at restaurants every single night.||The rooms were simple but clean and comfortable, and the hotel is within walking distance of the middle of town.

We stayed here during the Day of the Dead celebrations and found it a great base for exploring the city, easy walking distance to the Zocalo and other major sights. ||||The reception staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are basic but clean and comfortable with fans. The real highlight was the gardens in the central courtyard and the roof terrace which we were able to watch some of the Day of the Dead processions pass by from. ||||We didn't eat at the hotel but there are several small cafes nearby which are very reasonable and have great local food.

A neat hostel with a beautiful wild garden courtyard. Very friendly staff and clean simple rooms with shared or private bathrooms. It's about 15 walk from the center in a calm part of town. Motorcycle parking is available in a separate small gated parking close to the hostel. Warmly recommend this place.

Quiet ! Remote and feel secure staying here ! Rooms are clean and simple ! You can choose between a room with your own bathroom, or get a room that shares the washroom ! The balcony and multi level terraces are amazing to find a spot to read a book and relax !
