Casa Artista by Villa Kresna was such a lovely find during our trip to Bali! The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. The staff were genuinely warm and helpful throughout our stay, always going the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The room was spacious, clean, and full of character. For the price, it definitely felt like great value—comfort, charm, and fantastic service all in one. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing and affordable stay in Seminyak!

Room was ok quite large and reasonably clean although it’s getting old so looks not so shiny. Bathroom very spacious but also dated and could do with full makeover. The king size bed though was huge and super comfortable so a big tuck there. Location is awesome, Jalan Sari Dewi is not crazy Bali busy anyway and the hotel is nearly 200 metres off this so it’s very quiet but the bonus is its walking distance to Eat St in one direction and Sunset Beach to the other. Staff were great and gave me a nice send off when I left

This place is lovely! Such a hidden gem. It's beautifully decorated, very quiet and only about 8 rooms so not many people. The pool is small but we didn't often overlap with other guests. Great shower pressure, comfortable beds. Staff were helpful. Location was fabulous. Most appreciated was that we checked out on the day of our flight but didn't need to leave for the airport till 6pm so they let leave our bags at reception and use the pool, and public shower until we left. Only critique is the reception desk isn't staffed. You send them a whatsapp message and they respond quickly but this meant that our bags sat there with no one to watch them which made us a bit nervy. Though there's security on the street for all the villas.

Absolutely STUNNING place. One of the best stays ever. It's waking distance to literally everything, marts bars clubs and cafes. Beautiful area to walk as well. The place is so beautiful to stay, I wish I could stay for longer. 100/10 recommended

I stayed at this hotel recently and was quite disappointed with the experience. The air conditioning in the room was not working properly, making it very uncomfortable, especially during the night. I informed the staff multiple times, but unfortunately, they were uncooperative and did not offer any effective solution. Basic comfort and responsive service should be a priority for any hotel, and sadly, that was lacking here. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves the facilities and staff behavior for future guests.

The room was comfy, quiet, spacious and had all I needed. There was a cafe less the two minutes from my upstairs room. Another 20 paces took me to a convenience store (circle K). 5-15 minutes takes you to >20 restaurants. There is also a good one opposite the entrance to the cul de sac. Communications were friendly, clear and accurate. Wifi was iffy. My room was up a flight of stairs and would have been unsuitable for someone with mobility issues.

The hotel is a bit old, but it matches the price. The location is great — everything you need is nearby. The service is excellent: the staff are very responsive and always willing to help with any request.

Disappointing Experience – Poor Communication and Maintenance After a long and tiring journey, we arrived at Casa Artista By Kresna late at night, only to find no one at the reception to assist with check-in. We waited for about 15 minutes before the security finally showed up and helped with the process. Upon entering our villa (Villa 3), we noticed that the air conditioning was not cooling properly. The bathroom was in poor condition — the shower hose and bidet were badly rusted and had visible mold. I ended up cleaning and sanitizing the bathroom myself as there was no staff available to assist. Despite reporting the air conditioning issue via WhatsApp, the response was delayed, and although we were told someone would come to check, no one showed up even after we returned from dinner. Unfortunately, I had to spend the entire night without a functioning air conditioner. I had to insist on compensation during checkout, which should not have been necessary if proper service and support had been provided from the start. The villa seriously needs to improve its communication, maintenance, and customer service.
