In the heart of old town ❤️ Staying at Casa Astarita B&B was such a treat! The room was amazing—authentic and full of character, just what we were hoping for. Breakfast was delicious, and it really felt like we were staying with old friends who genuinely cared about making our time in Sorrento special. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Casa Astarita place and a great location in Sorrento. Right on the main street, easy to get to , and in the middle of all the shopping and restaurants. The bed was comfortable. The shower took a long time to warm up and never really got hot. All of soap, shampoo, and water were replenished daily. The breakfast in the morning was very nice and the 2 staff in the morning were very kind and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had all we needed. The only negative I would have to report is the dining area is central to all of the rooms, so if you're not an early riser, the noise of the other guests and children having breakfast will wake you up.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We were in the Mediterranean room, which had lovely tile floors and was nicely decorated. Alfonso was an excellent host and the very nice ladies in the morning served a delicious breakfast. The common area had beautiful tile throughout. The room was cleaned well everyday and we’d stay here again.

Nice room, good service and located in the main street, with no noise in the room. Breakfast had good quality.

My husband and I had such a lovely stay at Casa Astarita. We found them in a travel guide and we are so glad we did. The room was perfect for our stay and they cleaned it daily! The location was so central which made it easy to walk to everything but it was still so quiet at night. They also cooked the best breakfast and made sure we didn’t go hungry. They were so friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Sorrento! We will be back!

This is the most incredible place!!! I loved every minute of our stay here and wished we could stay longer. The host was amazing, the space was gorgeous, the AC was magnificent, views and location even better. I can't wait to come back to Sorrento just to stay here. It was by far the best place we stayed in our trip across Italy. 10/10 no notes.

First the positives: The staff were friendly and breakfast was very good. We were served traditional Italian morning fare. Pastery, toast and jam, cafe (espresso) and cafe americano. An extra treat was fresh fluffy scrambled eggs. ||The property entrance is discreet, large arched wooden doors (keypad at night) and no signage or street numbers so it was a bit of a puzzle to find, but fun to scout out. ||We arrived on the ferry not knowing that the “12 min” walk to the property would be nearly vertical stone staircases interrupted only by steep heavily cobbled streets. Best to have good fitness and high performance luggage wheels on this route. To our surprise a friendly vendor near the property shared with us that for only 1 euro per person there is a “lift” (aka elevator) available to the public. ||The was comfortable. Typical small AC unit, suitable shower, toilet, sink and bidet efficiently arranged. Plenty of hot water. Our room was second level (USA counting) which I understand is referred to in Italy as first floor. There was a small balcony for standing that overlooks a beautiful, if busy, street of shops restaurants, also cobblestone (bumpy brick pavers). Everything was charming and wonderful… until it was time for bed. ||Regrettably almost directly across the street is an all night discotheque, which was pounding out EDM at least until 3:00 a.m. we turned on every white noise app, AC, bath fan and sealed up the double balcony door. Noisy patrons could not drown out the relentless “music”. So, perhaps this was a one night stuation, I did not speak to the staff about it, but when I looked out the window in the morning I saw the disco had a sign out “5:00 a.m. breakfast”. So, the property is quaint, not like a traditional hotel. I would say an “inn”. ||I have no interest in being negative. Just want to be realistic for travelers who wish to rest.

Amazing hotel. I stayed with my two daughters for 3 nights. The service was amazingly good. Breakfast was very nice, they went out of their way to please us. Cettina was so kind, she remembered what we likes for breakfast and on her say off she baked delicious pie to share with everyone. Best hotel in Italy. A must stay. The location is also great.
