We sat outside at what they called the bar but it was basically several high top tables without service. You had to order at the bar and there was no further service after they brought you your food. The guacamole there is amazing. The toppings really add to the flavor. The tacos were not very good. We got Barbacoa, chicken, and fish. They all lacked flavor and the meat was chewy.

Google
Fantastic food and great service! Prices are quite reasonable for the quality. Highly recommended! The house made mole (pictured) is milder than what you might be used to if you're a mole fan, but it's outstanding.

I came here on Margarita Monday with my family when our first choices were closed. $7 house margaritas and they were cool, nothing special but the price. We shared the nachos and we all had different combinations of the taco trio. The nachos are really good. Flavorful with a little spice. The tacos were just okay. Between four of us we had chicken, fish, shrimp and barbacoa. The barbacoa lacked flavor and was a little dry. The shrimp and fish are battered which I could’ve done without for my shrimp taco. Our server was nice. Overall it was cool I would come back for drinks and a snack but it’s not my first choice.

Google
Highly recommend this restaurant! The trio of tacos were on point! I loved their Hot salsa as well- it was definitely spicy and I do spicy all the time. Staff was very attentive which I found very impressive. The speed at which the food came out was amazing as well, despite them having a full house.

Google
Super glad I finally had a meal here. Very fresh and flavorful food and all came out quickly. We had a lovely server who gave us excellent margarita recommendations from the specialty flavors list. Appreciated the three vegetarian/vegan taco options as well as the weekly specials they had. The inside had great energy for a Tuesday night. I know on weekends it can get packed especially out on the patio. Will definitely return for quality Mexican food and drinks

Google
My wife and I ate supper here a couple of days ago and it was great. We shared a combo of tacos and a Baja Bowl and it was perfect for us. Very flavorful and it looked good too.

Google
Food was phenomenal. Very good with great selections and mix and match options. I wanted to get everything on the menu. Service staff very friendly just seemed possibly short staffed like most places. Had to keep going to bar to get our own drinks. We also had large group so that could have been part of it. Would definitely go back however as very cool little spot and again food was fantastic! Edit: 2 years later and food, even door dashing on Cinco de Mayo, is still fantastic! Went perfectly with home made margs. Great job!!

This location has been three different restaurants during my time in Buffalo, but this is the best iteration. Previous spots were too loud, the fare too expensive, and the vibes off. Now that Casa Azul is here, this place shines! The staff is wonderful and offers good suggestions when you can't decide between certain entrees or drinks. The food was top-notch, and I was full onyym order of 3 tacos and some guac. The guac has pickled red onions in it, which were divine, and the chips it came with had large salt crystals all over that you could SEE (I am a salt fiend so this was a big bonus for me!). I don't know what was better- the drinks or the food. I ordered a mule (vodka based drink) instead of a tequila based drink, since that is not my particular jam. My drink came in THE cutest, hand painted terracotta little mug! It was delish. My friends all got tequila-based drinks, and I think the group favorite, after sampling multiple drinks, was the Pineapple something or other (maybe Pineapple Express? I can't remember, but it looked good!). The only sad moment was an entree someone wanted was out for the night- which is a good sign when something sells out! The food was so good, and the total for all the food and drinks was very reasonable. I am definitely going back, and can't say enough good things about this place.

Yelp
By far the BEST Mexican food! Amazing drinks the food is to die for and don't forget to get the churros, they melt in the mouth. Love this place but my waist band does not.

Yelp
I wanted to update my review for Casa Azul. I ate here when they first opened and was pretty unimpressed. However, I think they have improved after visiting recently for a meeting and having drinks and food. The tacos are different, and the fillings and tortillas are better. The shrimp tacos contain lightly battered perfectly fried shrimp and I'd come back just for these. The potato and poblano taco was also a flavorful vegetarian option. We also ordered a skillet of meatballs that came with several tortillas and a generous amount of sauce. This resulted in even more meatball tacos and provided quite a meal for two. We also had some lovely drinks. They were artfully presented and quite good. Churros were our dessert choice and they were crispy, sweet, and a perfect ending. We also had the very pleasant experience of sitting at the back bar and patio area that can be closed off for weather and faces even more patio seating for warmer months. It's quite beautiful back there and I recommend you ask to sit back there sometime.

Yelp
It's not that I wouldn't recommend this business, but I thought it was only OK... the interior has a nice ambiance and is tastefully decorated... Buuuutttt, First of all, bathrooms were on the dirty side, and for it to be a Latino restaurant, there was a visible lack of any person from the Latino community inside... We ordered the octopus tostado for $18, and I guess we expected there to be more than one on the plate... it was very good with tender chunks of octopus, chunks of pineapple, sprouts on top, with a crisp shell nestled on a bed of guacamole... it was very good, but for the price, there should have been more than one It was taco Tuesday, so we each ordered a trio of tacos. They were discounted by $2... the shrimp taco was the best in the trio... the sauce drizzled over the fried shrimp, and veggies was the high light... the fish taco lacked flavor and gusto, just meh... the al pastor taco had some nicely seasoned meat and was the second best taco on the board, and in my table mate's trio, she ordered the Brussel sprout taco... she barely ever eats salt, but thought this needed some salt or more seasoning. The tacos were pretty bland... We ordered a basket of chips and salsa for $5, and the salsas were very flavorful, not hot spicy, but well seasoned. The chips were unexpectedly bland and not warm... we were assured they were fresh at the beginning of the shift but I wouldn't recommend them... So, it was an OK meal, but I won't be hurrying back

Yelp
The rating is heavily leaning on the food, which for me wasn't great. I got their queso and I'm not sure if it was the ingredients that combined to taste burnt or if the bottom of it was actually burnt, but it left an unpleasant taste for me. Unfortunately, my chicken was also decently dry. The chips were super salty, but I happen to like them that way. Our server was lovely, but it took longer to get basic drinks (no cocktails) than the actual food, which was a bit disappointing. That said, the agua fresca (basil peach) I got was delicious. I would give it another shot and try something different, as I could tell the place is beloved and has lots of regulars. I'm hoping I just got an off night.

Cynthia C.

Yelp
Came to try some Mexican food, the ambiance was nice and I loved all the greenery they had indoors. Our server was not the friendliest. We ordered the guacamole and chips which was great. There was a lot of fresh chips. The rice and beans was okay, a little dry and my boys did not like it. The tacos were good, I tried the shrimp, fish and al pastor. All was tasty and shrimp had a little kick to it. The meat in the al pastor was tasty and the tortilla looks fresh pressed. Overall it was good, but I was not super wowed by the food.

Shannon S.

Yelp
I just love this place! Tortillas are amazing and seem homemade. I love all the drinks and variety they offer. Appetizers are shareable. Staff is super friendly and bartenders make a great drink. The charred Caesar is a MUST! We also tried the oxtail taquitos which are delicious. The place is super cute and modern. If you need help picking a taco the Al pastor is the absolute best. If I had to critique it the apps seem to need some salt and the searing process is a little janky / super close to the door which causes a traffic jam.

Michael B.

Yelp
It was an awesome experience! The place had a warm and inviting atmosphere with a traditional feel. The service was top-notch, especially our bartender, Ryan, who was super attentive. And the food was fantastic - fresh and delicious. I especially loved the fish tacos - the ribs were cooked to perfection. Highly recommend it!

Carlie C.

Yelp
Caza Azul offers delectable and fairly portioned Mexican options at a very fair price. I split the Queso Fundido with my friend, which had a great flavor profile and honey on top which I enjoyed! The homemade chips were also delicious. For dinner, I ordered the three vegetarian tacos - I loved that they let you mix and match what tacos you get so that you can try different styles! It's a great place to go for vegetarians as everything is clearly marked on the menu which makes it easy to order. They have so many margarita flavors which were all unique and fun to try! The inside is a little cramped, but nicely decorated and very trendy. The waiters were working hard although it seemed they were a bit understaffed.

Elo J.

Yelp
One more entree choice and I will have completed the entire menu at this amazing neighborhood Mexican cantina. I always sit at the bar to dine as long with a few tip shelf Margaritas. The bartenders are all very professional but friendly knowing when you need anything to just let you enjoy it all. Hard to find that talent of service! I've never had a bad here... not even close. About as close to absolute perfection that you can find Authentic, not Americanized Mexican food done very well in a nice busy spot. Highly recommended

Ciara H.

Yelp
Today was my first time at Casa Azul. I met a friend for after work dinner and drinks. We both got the tacos, and I chose 1 fish, 1 potato, and 1 Al pastor. We also got chips and salsa to share. All excellent! The tortillas were so soft and fresh. I also had 2 margaritas, both of which were delicious. We ended with some churros which were so airy and warm. We also sat outside on the patio and it was beautiful. The bar tender took our drink and food orders and was absolutely amazing. He was essentially serving the entire patio by himself, and doing so flawlessly. I will definitely be back.

Julie C.

Yelp
Pleasant surprise for buffalo! Cute interior, good vibes, yummy food. The aesthetics here are I mean look at that wavy cucumber

Brielynn B.

Yelp
I'm not gonna lie, when Casa Azul was at their old location, I was not a fan... like, I went a few times, tried different things and ultimately, I swore it off because nothing on the menu did it for me. BUT, since moving to their new location on Allen, things have changed! The menu is updated, and I'm so here for it. We always start with the queso (which is a must at any Mexican-style restaurant) and my go-to dish is the pescado. It's hard to explain, but for the pescado dish, the cod is in a broth and seasoned with various spices. It's topped with pumpkin seeds, which at first might seem odd, but it adds a different layer of texture to the dish. They also top the queso with pumpkin seeds, so if you're not into that, just ask them to keep them off. The margaritas are freshly made and they offer a variety! The service is friendly and prompt and the vibes give off the typical Allentown energy. Overall, the move from downtown to Allen was a good choice and I'm glad I gave this place another shot!

Kelly B.

Yelp
Sat on the patio on a beautiful Tuesday evening. They were busy but service was super efficient. My drink was excellent and the tacos were delicious. Fair pricing too!

Jen E.

Yelp
We had a nice dinner out on the patio, I had no idea their patio was so large and has a patio bar. We ordered the chips and guac as an app, they were great. I ordered the trio of vegetarian tacos. They were good, not great. My partner ordered the Tuna Crudo Tostada which was delicious and very fresh and light. Enjoyed a few drinks as well. Fun atmosphere. Clean bathrooms. Service was good too.

Domenic J. L.

Yelp
Not sure why it's taken so long for me to discover the tastiest vegan tacos in WNY. Wow! For starters, the chips were the freshest ever, and the three salsas that accompanied them were each more tasty than the other. The three tacos on the trio were brussels sprouts, potato and poblanos, and cauliflower. Grilled with the tiniest bit of char. Seasoned with incredible sauces and roasted pepitas. And to top it all off, $7 margaritas on Mondays. Our server, Nadia, was super friendly and answered all of our questions. Can't wait till our next visit!

Sireesha A.

Yelp
I'm so glad a friend of mine suggested to go to this place during restaurant week. I had gone to casa azul a long time ago (pre covid days) and remembered it for good drinks but the food wasn't noteworthy. However, going back to the place this time, my mind was blown at 1. How many vegetarian options there were 2. How good the food was! I LOVED the veggie mole and the chips with three different types of salsa. The waitress nicely brought me a hot sauce for the food too which was house made and very flavorful. I also got a tequila mule which was just as perfect as I remembered it. The ambiance was very hip and the place was packed when we entered. Since then I've always been back twice and would love to be back anytime I'm in the area again!

Colleen H.

Yelp
The service was great. Our waitress was Nazia. She was very friendly and accommodating and knowledgeable. Every restaurant should have a Nazia. Lots of taco choices. We enjoyed the brussel sprout taco. The chocolate mousse was also delicious. The drinks were okay. Posting a photo because it looked cool.

Marissa M.

Yelp
Casa Azul is very cute inside and has a very nice patio! I would go back for the churros and the ambiance, but the tacos were just sub par. The waitress said that their best taco was the Brussel sprout taco.... a very bad sign. I honestly couldn't believe how bad the chicken taco was. Very disappointed with them. The guac was very delish, the margs were good, and the churros were A++ but the tacos were just so underwhelming. Including the Brussel sprout taco. Please for the love of god change your chicken taco recipe!

Kyle K.

Yelp
Have gone here a couple times now, both times very good food and drinks. Price I feel is decent for the quantity/quality of the food as well.

Katie C.

Yelp
My favorite place to eat in Buffalo! From food to drinks it is always a 10/10. The owner is friendly and makes you feel welcome every time.

Daviyion J.

Yelp
I had the AL Pastor Torta ($10$) that I had for dinner was delicious, well-made, and quite flavorful with or without any hot sauce added to it. I would highly recommend getting this the next time (or the first time) you go to visit. I didn't grab a drink this time but I have had their margarita in the past and it was a good as well, unless they've switched something up!

Kristofer B.

Yelp
Excellent, friendly bar service. Well-made cocktails. The tacos are great and the mole is highly recommended.

Katie C.

Yelp
Just a heads up- if you call to make a reservation, you're actually contacting the one in nyc. This location doesn't take reservations. Besides that, the atmosphere was cool- very similar to my old favorite cantina loco. The waitress got a couple of simple things wrong, and my friend immediately knew something was wrong with her chicken taco. Three hours later she had intense food poisoning. Wish I had better things to say!

Sheila H.

Yelp
Best tacos, and churros that I've ever eaten and I live in Southern California... I had the house Margarita and it was delicious. Service was beyond amazing. We had a daughter in a wheelchair and they brought out a ramp, making the restaurant handicap accessible. This is a must try, if you're in the Buffalo area. Also the food was plated as if you were in a 4 Michelin star restaurant. I will definitely be back...

Kristen H.

Yelp
Fabulous dining experience at a sweet little spot in Buffalo- a bit off the beaten path in that it is a bit of a stand alone in its neighborhood - but we'll worth scouting it out! We enjoyed thick corn house made chips with a trio of salsas and beautifully presented and equally delicious guacamole. This was filled by a selection of gorgeously plated trio of tacos and an amazing grilled Brussels sprout and cauliflower Cesar salad with house made dressing... everything was delicious and we left not a crumb behind Highly recommend the Caesar salad - unique and delicious Outdoor seatings and speedy friendly service !

Eliza L.

Yelp
Brunch is amazing! Cocktails and food are impeccable l! Service is quick, efficient and friendly. Late night vibes are super fun on the weekends too!

Tooter M.

Yelp
If there were 10 stars that's what I would give. Everything was excellent from service to food to atmosphere. Ordered new items on the menu- duck taquitos and carne asada was so tasty and beautifully plated.

Michele P.

Yelp
Food was excellent. One of my food passions is Mexican, so my appetite gets bigger when I come here We were looking for another restaurant a bit away and it was closed so we came here. I'm glad we did. Food was great and service was great. The ambiance was cool. Love all the Mexican adventures and scenes. The color was bright like Mexico and the music lively. We had a good supper.

Mala D.

Yelp
Great food and drinks good atmosphere and service. Had the mole so delicious shared the churros crispy and warm so yummy. Everyone enjoyed their selection

Ryan J.

Yelp
I told my good friend Zina Lapi during my last visit with her, next time we will have lots more to Taco-bout. This time it would be at a new Location in one of the most Popular areas of buffalo, what was once Cantina Loco at the intersection of Elmwood & Allen is now Casa Azul's new base of Culinary Operations. I always thought of returning here but I never even thought of coming here until I saw on Facebook that they were having a Halloween Party. I told my cousin Mike and his girlfriend Emily about it and they were onboard with it right away. When they picked me up I guess that me and Mike had the Same Idea, as we both dressed up as Skeletons only difference was that I wore a Mask and Mike had his face painted while Emily was dressed up like a Troll. The Intersection of Elmwood & Allen was under construction, so we had to make our way down and park on Park Street. A Little bit of walk on such a brisk night wouldn't hurt to work up an Appetite. We walked in and I went right up to Zina Lapi (she and her Co-Worker were both halves of a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich). She kindly greeted us as we got here just in time before it got crowded, waited 6 Minutes for our Table which was in the Corner next to the DJ. Shortly after we were seated people started coming in as they were crowding the Bar Area and even Outside. Makes me glad we arrived when we did, we looked over their Spooky Cocktail Menu and I got one of them. It was called What lies Beneath served in a Tall Tiki Glass filled with Rum, Blue Curacao, Sherry, Coconut & Lime. I wasn't thrilled with the Pineapple Rind nor the Plastic Spider sitting at the top of my Lime Wedge floating in the Drink. A few sips of this Tropical Beverage and I could feel the Buzz as much as I do from the Party. Food Wise, Mike and Emily each got a plate of Taquitos that were filled with Roasted Pork and Cabbage topped with a Charred Jalapeno Aioli and with a little pool of Bright Green Chile Sauce. I was starving as I haven't eaten in over 9 Hours so I took the liberty of getting 2 Entrees. The 1st was a Braised Pork Belly Tostada with Fingerling Potatoes and Black Bean Puree. The other was Cod that was brushed with Black Garlic in a Poblano Corn Chowder. When I went to eat the Tostada, I didn't know how to attack it, if I picked it up and ate it would've shattered all over my Lap. So I ate with my Knife and Fork, Pork was Crispy and Juicy, Tender Potatoes, Onions packed with a Punch from the Habanero marinade. The Fish was fall apart Tender swimming in a pond of Corn Chowder that was accented mildly from the Poblanos. The Pumpkin Seeds and Fingerling Potato Crisps that were floating provided some Texture Contrast to the Dish. I ordered another Drink, one of their Regular Cocktails called the Poblano Plane. It was a Charred Poblano infused Bourbon with Amero Nonino, Aperol & Lemon. Bourbon to me has a bit of a kick when it hits my Throat, this Poblano just emphasized it to another Level with a subtle hint of Smoke at the end. Emily got some Churros for Dessert, who doesn't like Fried Dough dusted with Cinnamon Sugar and drizzled with Dulce de Leche Caramel. Around 11:30 at night I was feeling it from the Party especially with DJ Crespo rocking those Tunes and spinning those Records. I decided to order another Drink, Ruby and the Beast. Consisting of Mezcal, Lemon Juice, Grapefruit, Cinnamon Syrup, Orgeat, Allspice Dram and Angostura Bitters. Bright Orange drink that had a Mint Shrub and Orange slice on Top. It was like a play on Beauty and the Beast as the Beauty was from the Sweetness from the Fruit and the Cinnamon and the Beast was the intensity of the Mezcal Tequila. At around quarter to Midnight I ordered some Tacos to Munch on. I got Shrimp with Chipotle Sauce, Chicken packed Dark Meat and topped with bits of Crispy Chicken Skin for Crunch and Brussel Sprouts tossed with Salsa Macha along with Roasted Peanuts and Sesame Seed for some Bite. You know between the Food, Drinks, Party and the Atmosphere I had a Rockin Good time. Mike & Emily enjoyed themselves too, after 2 1/2 Hours we decide to call it a Night, also gave a shoutout to DJ Crespo before I left. I think that Zina and the rest of the Casa Azul crew will thrive and be a Big Success in this area. Elmwood is a popular Street in Buffalo, they go by and think, this looks like just the Place for Tacos. Let me do some math for you, Casa Azul + Tacos = Happiness. !!!

Daevina C.

Yelp
Went here for dinner with friends. Atmosphere: alot cuter than I was expecting. Could be a cute date spot, girls night out or casual bar hang. Waiter was attentive. Food: we had the guac and queso fundido, guacamole was great not too salty had some chunks of guacamole in it. The Tortilla chips were fried and dusted with a little salt. Queso fundido was one of my fave dishes. Sizzling queso with a drizzle of honey and some pepitos. I had pork belly and potato tostada. It was absolutely delicious. Tender pork belly, with seasoned potatoes, cilantro, scallion and bean sauce. It's a flavor party for your mouth. We had both the churros and chocolate mousse. The mousse was good. Not too sweet, great texture and perfectly balanced by the sourness of fresh berries. The churros though... *chef's kiss * literally melt in your mouth cinnamon sugar goodness. Best churros I've had in buffalo. Drinks: Margharitas!! Coconut black lava salt rim and vanilla pear with sugar rim. Both delicious, loved the ube coconut. Personally feel like it would have been better with a sugar rim. But the drink itself was slightly creamy and smooth. The vanilla pear was refreshing. Both great additions to our meal

Yelp
A gem of a Mexican restaurant in downtown Buffalo! The boyfriend and I stopped by at around 5:30 on a Friday and were seated immediately, which was just the tip of the iceberg that was an amazing Mexican meal. Our server was attentive and kind too! We started with the trio of salsas and chips. Each had a unique flavor and the chips were unlike any other that I've had at a Mexican restaurant; they were thick and crunchy. I got a trio of tacos: shrimp, chicken, and roasted cauliflower. The chicken was amazing and the cauliflower taco was absolutely sublime. I don't know what the sauce was that the cauliflower florets were tossed in, but it was out of this world. I only took a bite of the shrimp taco because I was so stuffed, but it was fantastic too. I didn't get to try any of their cocktails, but I'd love to come back to sip on a margarita and try some more of their taco selection. If you're looking for a Mexican joint with a unique menu, look no further than Casa Azul!

Chelsea G.

Yelp
Recently made a trip and got the chicken tacos, churros and a Paloma to drink. The Paloma was not very good- it just tasted like very watered down grapefruit juice. My friend got a house margarita and felt the same about his. Granted we were on the patio and it was very hot so that could have contributed but even the first sip was not great. I've been there other times and had good drinks so I guess it just depends on who's bartending. The tacos were delicious, good flavor and the hot sauces were good as well. I don't like that they only have 1 option for chicken but at least they are good! The churros were the star! Perfectly cooked and loaded with cinnamon sugar and glaze. They give you a large portion too so I even took some home.

Kate M.

Yelp
I want to leave an update with one star (based on the food), but as the bartender told my husband when he returned my civiche tostada..."you didn't like it, we gave you your money back...what else do you want?" Fair enough. But, I wanted well prepared food. It turns out that they didn't make an error, though. My husband returned it to them and they said it was correct. The split butterflied shrimp were still blue. So, this is how they serve the Acapulco Shrimp Ceviche Tostada. There was no mistake. I can't comment on the taste because I didn't want to eat raw shrimp. By the way...the menu offers you the opportunity to 'Buy the kitchen a round' at $10; nuts presumptuous.

Mark S.

Yelp
I was super impressed with this place when they were at their old location but now not so much. The place itself is good a great vibe and the service was perfect, so what makes it not so great? The chips and salsa were the first problem. The chips were very thick and the salsas even though there were three of them, had little flavor, none of them had any heat to them nor were there any hot sauces on the table to add. I had the Taco trio, both the chicken and the beef or dry and not seasoned at all. Maybe it was just an off night for the cook but thankfully the service was on par.

Claude B.

Yelp
Great Drinks, Awesome food! I've taken my family to Casa Azul for Dinner and Drinks on three different occasions and have never been disappointed. Nice atmosphere; fun, fresh, friendly and comfortable are the words that come to mind. Appetizers, Salsa and Hot Sauces are all very good. Taco Trio and The Enchiladas are two "can't miss" choices for your main.

Gift O.

Yelp
Was craving a torta and my usual place was closed so decided to place an order for pick. I called ahead and my food was ready by the time I arrived. The young lady that helped me was very cheerful and pleasant. The food was well packaged. There was a lot of chips provided. The chips are on the thicker side but overall were good. The salsa was a bit bland. Not sure what the 2 other sauces were but they were okay. None of the salsas/dipping sauces were spicy which was a bit disappointing. The torta itself was just ok. The meat was pretty skimpy and just didn't fulfill the torta crave I had. I wouldn't be opposed to trying something else on the menu but definitely wouldn't get the torta again.

Julia D.

Yelp
This place is amazing-- best Mexican restaurant in Buffalo in my opinion !! I've been here a few times. The queso appetizer is amazing, I keep bringing people here to try it. The margs are the best, my favorite is the honey dew. The crispy brussels tacos are my fave! You can tell care is put into the food. The service is also outstanding. Can't wait to go back!

Rosa W.

Yelp
I visited on a saturday night. It was a crowded, trendy, cute little taco spot with great service (staff was all amazing!) i think this restaurant is a great addition to the area. I'd never say this is an "authentic" mexican restaurant. So if that's what you're expecting, you'll be dissapointed. However They have a wide range of drinks, and if you like those specialty, "upscale" tacos, you'll really like Casa Azul. It'll be a great visit for someone just looking for a quick bite and a cool spot to hang out with friends.

Samantha C.

Yelp
Amazing food!! The tacos were fantastic and the service was great. The restaurant was very clean and beautifully decorated

Alex L.

Yelp
Dear Casa Azul, I hope you are doing okay and weathering this storm. I miss your tortas, the ambiance and atmosphere and just being able to occasionally pop in, sit around and chit-chat. Your torta was the thing my dreams were often made of. I am not sure how you made it so flavorful and my memory is fading of what was in there. Were there pickled onions? If so, uh---yes! I love them! The seasoning and whatever you used on those tortas left me salivating and desiring. I've had some great memories in your space and I hope to have some more. Can't wait to see you when you're reopen. In the meantime, I hope all your staff is keeping safe and healthy. #ThankYouThursday

Yelp
We didn't get to eat here as we just stopped in for a drink while we waited for some friends but I'm giving it 5 stars for one reason: Matty the bartender. We were visiting Buffalo for the UWBHF games and Matty gave us a literal list of places we need to visit while we were there. I think we made it to about half the places he listed but they were all great. And his margaritas and palomas were't too shabby either. If I'm ever back in Buffalo I'm gonna make it a point to come back and eat here. Thanks again, Matty!

Elayna H.

Yelp
Food- 5/5. Great flavors and sauces. Vegan/vegetarian tacos are incredible (I'm not veg but love never flavor combos) Drinks- 5/5. Also great flavor combo margs Service- 11/5 Amazing patio to dine/drink on as well, but it was raining today so sat inside with cute decor and tile work. Everyone was so friendly and the food was incredible! Natalie was our server and she was so sweet and really on top of it! Can't wait to go back The tortillas were a tad bit too thick- but I've been living in San Diego for 5 years so I am a bit of a critic on tacos. If they'd flatten then just a smidge, the flavors of their fillings would come through even more! Obviously not going to lose any points there- but just a tidbit of what I'd change.

Yelp
(Last visited 9/22/2020.) Working in Buffalo for the week and it's #TacoTuesday! Woo! So I found a nice spot right downtown that had good reviews so here I am! Atmosphere/Appearance: Giving off real cantina vibes with it's open-air 2-story floorplan. The décor was done very well and modestly. The bar was downstairs, but sitting upstairs gives a much better view since the restaurant was perched right on the corner. Service: Jess took excellent care of us. She was very good at her job, just a bit underwhelming. She wasn't very exciting or anything, but... that's okay, she did her job very well. The only issue we had was with the website. I came here for #TacoTuesday, which ON THE WEBSITE IN HUGE letters, offered various tacos for $2.00 and 7 oz. Coronitas for $2.00. It's literally what brought me to this establishment. Then come to find out they're not doing it. I'm sure it's because of COVID-19, but c'mon, update the website. I was so irritated by this, but it was already 9:00pm and I just wanted to eat. So... yeah, that bothered me, but because I'm generous, y'all can have 4 stars when I really wish I could give 3.5. Moving on... Food: FABULOUS. I tried 2 of their Taco Flights where you get to choose a choice of 3 tacos for one price. My favorite was the Al Pastor Taco which was shaved pork, beet marinated onion, pineapple and cilantro on a grilled tortilla. The balance of sweet and salty with together so perfectly. The tacos are also a good size too! My next favorite was the Shrimp Taco which are fried, then topped with, habanero onion, chammoy, cilantro. Very, very nice blend of flavors. Next up was the Chicken Taco which was dark meat confit, herb salsa and chicken skin chicharron. It was... interesting to say the least. I'd get it again, but those other 2 I favored a bit more. Last, but not least was one of 2 vegetarian options, the Roasted Poblano & Potato Taco which consists of roasted potatoes and poblanos, crema, cotija then pepitas. It was okay. That's it, okay. The menu is relatively small and that's okay! I actually liked not having to flip through a Cheesecake Factory-sized menu to make a decision AANNDD, the fact that they offer taco flights was even better! Value: Each taco flight was $12.50 and comes with 3 tacos. No, I didn't eat 6 tacos, I split the 2nd flight with my coworker. Lol. In conclusion, this place was pretty good! I will certainly come back WHEN THEY BRING TACO TUESDAY BACK. I'll be sure to call ahead next time.

Yelp
tried this place out while visiting from FLA. For a Tuesday night is was seemingly pretty busy but we were still sat right away which was awesome. Loved the atmosphere, great service, and killer food.

Yelp
Great and great atmosphere. Hostess was so kind and we only had to wait 10 minutes to grab a table on a Friday night. The charred Cesar salad is to die for and the tacos are bomb. But a warning about the hot sauce - it is HOT. They need a disclaimer on that thing. We all really enjoy hot sauce but could NOT handle it. Tears were shed and we had to order a glass of milk to cut the heat. Just a warning to try it before dumping it on your tacos

Yelp
We walked in and the bartender greeted us right away. We ordered margarita's and they were probably the best freshly made I have ever had. We didn't care to sit outside by the road, so we went upstairs to have some taco's. My husband and I ordered two drinks each, two taco's each and chips with three sides. The taco's were flavorful adding their habanero hot sauce. Beware! Their corn tortilla was definitely made fresh. Although their was only one bartender downstairs and one server upstairs, I felt like they needed at least one extra hand to help out. We enjoyed the food and drinks very much and would suggest this place to friends. The vibe was very dull but the food was awesome. The only thing I am wondering is how they sanitize the wooden blocks that they serve their taco's on. And are the wooden blocks treated with any type of chemical or formaldehyde?

Yelp
This place is where Cool meets Mexican Food... everyone knows that lol. The menu isn't super traditional, but the flavors are pretty authentic. If you're open minded, you'll love the playful spin on menu items here. An extensive list of tequilas and mezcals. Fun margarita options and a great location makes this a must-visit for anyone looking for a more than ordinary taco Tuesday. Also - I love a good patio, this one is A1.
