Casa Beach Hotel "Casa Del Mar"

We spent four nights in late July at the end of a family safari holiday. Three adults and two children across three generations accommodated in a couple of rooms. Beds were firm and comfortable, water was hot and showers were great. Rooms were clean and well serviced. Staff were thoughtful and accommodating, moving my elderly mother from first to ground floor after the first night so that she didn’t have to go up and down a relatively steep flight of steps (no handrail). ||The pool is a good size and forms the central focus with a terrace area and then the beach on one end and the restaurant at the other with rooms overlooking along the other two sides; first floor rooms with balconies, ground floor with verandas. ||The restaurant was very decent with a fairly wide menu such that it would be no problem staying a week and not seeking alternatives. Staff friendly and helpful. ||We did a mix of post-safari relaxation in and around the pool and trips out to Stonetown, a spice farm, prison island, the monkeys in Jozani Forest and snorkelling etc off the southern coast. The hotel was set up to arrange all the trips including good quality transport to and fro. ||We enjoyed our stay and in similar circumstances would happily return.

We enjoyed the stay here very much. Oke of the highlights was the absolutely lovely staff. We could sense that all of them were always so friendly, approachable and helpful. The food was delicious, there was local food and food that we already knew. Everything was well explained and we lacked nothing. Everything was clean, an elegant atmosphere was establoshed. We visited many countries for our vacation this year and we have to say that staying here was the best out of the 4. The hotel has a nice big pool in the center, and a bar where you can get fresh juice and other drinks. The staff were so kind, warm and helpful. They served with a smile which is most important to me. The rooms were very comfy, clean and spacious. The beach is just behind the hotel and it is absolutely wonderful. Casa Beach Hotel was absolutely amazing. The staff was so friendly and welcoming it felt like we were at home! Very clean and luxurious. They took care of everything we needed including a drive into town one night. The food was delicious and they had a great menu selection. The hotel is a haven of peace and tranquility. A perfect beach right in front. A large, clean pool complements the ocean beautifully.|The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and always very clean.|The staff is always smiling and attentive, ready to serve you in the best way possible.|We made a last-minute reservation after a very bad experience with the Pili Pili hotel chain, and Casa Beach was able to erase that memory and turn our last three days in Zanzibar into a truly pleasant and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this place!

We had an amazing stay at Casa Beach Hotel! I rented a car and found it easy to get around — GPS works perfectly, and the main roads are in great condition. The last stretch to the hotel is a bit bumpy, but it’s less than a kilometer and manageable.||The setting is ideal for families. The rooms open onto a serene courtyard with sand, palm trees, and a large central pool, making it incredibly easy to unwind without having to go far. It was especially perfect for us because we were traveling with a toddler.||Our little one absolutely loved the space — and the staff went above and beyond. They were so warm and playful with him, often calling him by name and engaging with him like family. It truly made us feel at home.||The food and drinks were excellent, the beach was clean and seaweed-free, and even the light rain during our stay made the atmosphere cozy and unforgettable. Another standout: most of the staff are women, which was inspiring and a wonderful reflection of progressive local values.||Casa Beach is all about calm, nature, and simplicity. If you’re looking for a peaceful, laid-back stay, especially as a family with kids or elderly guests, this is the place to be.||Highly recommend this hidden gem in Jambiani!

Nice hotel with a beautiful and clean pool. The staff were great, always smiling and they always ask you how you’re doing. |The sea is transparent and just how it looks in the magazines.|There’s not much going on around but the hotel offers different tours.

Casa beach hotel was a very laid back experience. The hotel is very clean as the staff is extremely friendly. There is easy access to the beach and pool. The food was delicious. I recommend casa beach hotel for your next Zanzibar stay.
