Casa Beleza Do Sul

Could not have picked a better place to stay for our multi-trip to the eastern Algarve area, Tavira was first stop and this guesthouse was the perfect choice, right by the river, with views from the roof terrace. Everything was an easy walk, just around the corner. Our duplex suite was beautiful, with high ceilings and warm decor and very comfortable, a very romantic space, with the little juliette balcony and small courtyard terrace outside the door. Host was great, nothing was too much trouble and contact although via wats app, was easy,with quick responses. - We enjoyed our 4 nights there.

We loved our stay, so many lovely and thoughtful touches! A light welcome breakfast, delicious tea, milk, filtered drinking water, delicious smelling lotion and soaps in the shower. Great location, very responsive hosts, clean and comfortable. The duplex suite was perfect for us with a separate living space, the bathtub was so nice to relax after a long day of exploring the area. Recommend!!!

It is very well located (2 walking minutes from the ferry). The rooms are very well kept, beautiful, and keep its original structure. It has a rooftop that canBut for such places (not hotels and cute, cosy, traditional), I would add some treats (and the price also justifies it). It does not have an air conditioning, only ventilators. Still recommend it, mainly due to the great location!

This is one of the nicest places we've stayed in Portugal; the Mezzanine suite is huge, generously equipped and has double doors looking over the front to the small beach ferries. Despite the incredible location the room is quiet and peaceful, and exceptionally comfortable. The quality and level of *everything* exceeds hotels in the area that are twice the price. Paola was a perfect host, so kind and communicative - we felt like we were in a family friend's home, and breakfast each day was a really lovely touch. We'll be coming back to magical Tavira for a long time to come, and are so thrilled to have found Paola's place to return to.

Everything was lovely. The spacy room was elegantly designed, except for the 6 pixies in the French Doors (with a river view). But it somewhat added to the charm. Nice bed, nice host, nice cleaning lady, nice breakfast. Paola, thank you for a wonderful stay.

Over the last decade I have returned to Casa Beleza Do Sol three times. I love it! I’m drawn back by the low key, super relaxed, really natural, very welcoming atmosphere. It’s a chill place to stay and hang out. The little details like the tea selection and bathroom products add to the thoughtful hospitality. The location could not be better right in centre and across from the ferry. But it’s more than that. This time, when I opened the door to my room on arrival, I visibly sighed an out breath, and felt like I was coming home. A lovely feeling indeed.

We spent two weeks in Europe celebrating our anniversary. The days we spent in Tavira and Casa Beleza do Sul were the most relaxing and romantic. Our suite came with a perfect breakfast of coffee, yogurt, fresh bread and jams. Everything was amazing. I can't say enough about it!

A wonderful, charming traditional Portugese Casa...we are in the blue suite and it is fabulous! The comfiest bed with beautiful soft crisp sheets and pillows, and a spacious hot fast flowing shower ...two of the most important things for me in a rental. The apartment is spacious and beautifully decorated . Views from the suite look out onto the back street, but there are great views from the roof terrace, one floor up. Honey, jam, butter, water, milk bread and almonds are left for your first breakfast, a lovely touch! There is a wine shop almost directly underneath, and a supermarket 2 mins walk away. Bars and restaurants literally outside, and the ferry terminal directly outside too. A great location, thoughtful and extremely responsive host, clean, comfortable accommodation gives this property a 5* rating from me!:))
