Beautiful ambiance, attentive and friendly wait staff, disappointing food, good cocktsils. Terrible, floppy bread with no crust and no bite. Caesar salad overloaded with a bland dressing. The veal saltimboca should have been more tender and was over a TON of spinach that I'm pretty sure was frozen. Sad representation of Italian cuisine.

Came in with a party of 9 and had amazing service even tho they looked busy! The food was delicious! The staff was so kind, spoke to us like family! It was my friends birthday and the boss wished her happy birthday and even brought us free lemoncello! We will definitely be back!

This is a very nice place in heart of tribeca. My brother did a nice little wedding get together in private room. Food was good drinks came plenty and all the workers was fast and friendly id come here again

We didn’t eat here, but had a few drinks at the bar and had a blast talking with Taylor! She was very friendly and had a great NY attitude. Expresso Martinis were made with real expresso and were way tasty. Great happy hour prices too!

Randomly stumbled upon this joint while out on a stroll but boy color me impressed. The pasta was on point, portions were solid, and everything tasted fresh and homemade. If you’ve never been to Italy I guarantee that Casa Bella is about to give you a real first hand experience. The place has a cozy, chill vibe and the staff was really friendly. Definitely a great spot to hit if you’re in the area and want to spend your money on some actual good food that’ll leave you wanting seconds.

I had a great experience at Casa Bella. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a date night or dinner with family. I came here for dinner with a friend and we both really enjoyed it. The pasta was fresh and flavorful, and the sause tasted homemade.The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable, not too lond, which l appreciated. Our server was kind and attentive the whole tim. I would definitely come back.

Fantastic and highly recommend this restaurant. From the minute we walked in, I knew this was a special place. We were greeted immediately as we got out of our car and escorted to our table. The service was the best I’ve received in a very long time. Everyone was so nice and personable. The food was beyond delicious, the best Italian I’ve had in years!!! I got the Lobster Ravioli, hubby the Shrimp Alfredo, son the Chicken Alfredo and daughter the Spaghetti and Meatballs. They were all incredible, you truly can’t go wrong with anything you order here. Most of the staff have been working at the restaurant for years and the chefs for 20+ years. The ambience and overall atmosphere were perfect. We all felt comfortable and right at home. Truly the best dinner experience I have had in as long as I can remember!! My family all loved it as well❤️

I'm not the biggest fan of Little Italy in general, but even the tourist traps can be fun when nearby. This seemed like a decent option for comfort food when staying nearby. As I was politely being seated outdoors before 8:30 pm, I heard a scolding tone from someone at the front door telling me not to sit. He may have just been talking to the server, but I felt admonished. Screw you guys. Wish I could give 0 stars. I was in the business a long time ago, and would always stay open late, so no excuses.

Experience was amazing! Carlos was an amazing worker! Always checking in on us. And the food matched the service as well. Food was amazing big portions! All my friends and I had a great time. If you are looking for a good time, a good ambiance and great food come here!

I'm not new to this area and have been working around here for a while, so dining in around here is not really a local thing. This review is overdue, my friend and I met here for dinner around December. This is newly renovated since the fire in the building. So, the food is okay, we had calamari, lasagna, margherita pizza, and spumoni ice cream, we also had the mussels but they really smelled very bad, obviously not fresh and spoiled. It was taken out of our bill anyway since it was unconsummated. Staff are not friendly, except for the guy at the desk. We asked another staff member, the one who refills water, to take our photo but he refused, it's not busy when we dined so it's no excuse. That settles it for our dinner, nothing too good to mention about the wait staff and food. I would also like to mention how rude the wait staff here, it was on a feast of San Genarro, I wanted to order something for take out, again the person at the desk would always be nice, he told me to ask the waiter to order, and the surprised response was "we're very busy for take out, you can get food on the street"!. I was really shocked I would not recommend this for anyone, there are a bunch of Italian restaurants throughout Little Italy, I've had good experiences with others but not this one. The only thing that stands out is their aesthetics, nothing else.

We stopped here for drinks while waiting for a friend. Very clean restaurant and restrooms. The drinks were fantastic - works of art! One of the best espresso martinis that I've ever had. The only reason for 3 stars (not 5) is because we had no idea a change of shift happened. The first bartender was awesome! Very friendly, outgoing, gracious - 5 stars! Eventually, we were left waiting for our bill. We gave the new bartender the credit card to pay for our tab - he left to go somewhere else - came back without our credit card, no words at all and started making drinks. Weird. A couple minutes later someone totally dressed down came to us at the bar with our credit card and a credit card slip to (seemingly sign) but no pen. We told the new inattentive bartender that we needed a pen to sign the bill to which he replied, "yes sign." (With what?!) Makes me glad we went across the street to eat. I can't imagine what the service would e turned into. Go for drinks, then maybe assess the service to determine if you stay for a meal.

This restaurant is on the corner of Mulberry and Hester in little Italy. The servers were polite and gladly gave suggestions. The outdoor seating during the Feast of San Genaro is great if you like to people watch. The Maitre d said that the chef is from Italy and he did not disappoint. The food came out hot which is a plus. It was tasty and not overly seasoned or cooked. Guests around me ordered lasagna, pizza and penne a la vodka. It all looked delicious. So I'll need to back again.

I shouldve known that if someone had to lure people in, that it would not be good. We wanted to get up before we ordered but we gave it a chance. Everything had no flavor that I had one bite and just threw out the whole plate. We asked for the check, but he put dessert menus on our tables instead. We got our check but gratuity was already included which I dont remember seeing. After we left, we had no greetings as well compared to other tables. 75$ for 2 plates and still had to go find dinner elsewhere. We didnt even get linen napkins like other tables, just one napkin. Horrible service and food imo.

This meal was SO amazing! The food, service, and atmosphere were absolutely unmatched. The little Italy experience is something you just have to experience!! 10/10!

We thought the festival was happening. The festival is in September, so we walked around and went into some of the stores in the area. We then decided we wanted to have something to eat. As we walked were approached by a middle age gentleman staff outside the restaurant to eat at this restaurant, we were convinced lol The man was really charismatic and funny. We were seated outside. Complentary bread and water for the table. Adults had the red sangria and white sangria, these were good but had too much ice. They offered dinner special plus their regular menu. The service was good. Our waiter who I didn't catch his name was patient and informative. We ordered from the dinner special and the regular menu. Caprese salad, zucchine alla puttanesca, Chicken Parm, Steak with two sides of veggies, broccoli rabe, Chicken rigattoni alla vodka, pollo alla vodka, lasagna, fettuccine con salmone, calamari, Margherita Pizza. Everyone enjoyed their food with the exception of the fettuccine con salmon was very bland so it was not eaten completely. It looked tasty but the flavor was not there. The caprese salad surprisingly was chopped and not much mozzarella, the zucchine alla puttanesca had two slices of zucchini on top of some salad. The pizza was good! The establishment inside looks clean, and pretty. There so many restaurants on this strip to choose from but I'm not disappointed that we stopped and ate at Casa Bella.

Amazing lunch special offered close to dinner time! It consisted of possibly the best meat lasagna i have ever had. But, before that i was served fresh bruschetta. Followed by chocolate mousse desert. All for just $20 bucks! Service: amazing deal: fantastic food: delicious!

Tommy the Nose caught the attention of our group of 8. He was funny, friendly and had the best voice. Name a Frank Sinatra song and he'll sing it. Food was absolutely delicious! We had the calamari and lasagna. They were the best we've ever had!

We did not have a good experience here. The food is mediocre at best. My son would not even eat the pizza. It tasted like a frozen red Baron. I personally would not ever return here again. It is so overpriced for what you get plus they claimed It was happy hour. :-/ our drinks were two coronas and one glass of Cabernet. I'm assuming he decided to bring me the priciest Cabernet without asking. Plus, we were only a party of three and they charged us gratuity Also, why is my bill a different price than My credit card was charged ? Very odd Don't bother going here

Today I had the opportunity to dine in this restaurant and it was amazing... The service was a one the food was perfectly cooked. I ate with my friend. We had some Italian drink that was amazing... The mood was great. It was around lunchtime perfect lunchtime 3 course $21 meal... the ambience was perfect and on point I will definitely go back and I definitely recommend!

Been to this restaurant quite a few time and never disappoints. Menu and service are good. If you're in a hurry, definitely don't go because the food takes a bit of time. Last night the hot antipasto was fabulous as for the entrée last night was the first time very disappointed! Veal sorrentina was not good . Only good thing was veal was tender other than that it was not good. Cheesecake and coffee very good . Def will go back because I have been there many times, and it was always very good so don't know what happened last night

My friend and I were lulled into this restaurant as we were galavanting around SoHo. The happy hour was nice and since it was really cold and windy outside we found reprieve inside. We sat in the bar area and were immediately served our mimosa and Bellini. The Bellini was especially delicious! We didn't stay long but it was an enjoyable experience nonetheless!

Carlo was amazing! Great service and great food, one of our favorite places to dine with the family!

Food was excellent, service was a below zero, never received any refills on water or iced tea , manager was very aggressive getting customer off the street into the restaurant , Did not check on us once, when we asked for a ice tea to go , he said I would have to charge you 5 bucks for another tea, even though we already ordered one... Bad bad customer service

My family loved everything we had to eat here!! The ambiance was great and the guy on the street totally hooked us to coming in lol. I LOVED the vodka pasta and my dad loved the lobster ravioli and he's a pretty picky guy.

A great little bite when wandering around New York City. The food is a bit reminiscent of that of a fazolis, but smidge overpriced! I'd recommend the spaghetti and meatballs as a simple bite; however, the fettuccine Alfredo was a bit too plain and the additional $7 charge for chicken is not worth it. The wait staff is very cordial! Side note: a sparkling water is additional in cost! Cheers

If you are in NYC entering Mulberry Street/Little Italy from the south where most people come in you will be enticed by the extended outdoor seating and presentation of the restaurant but the food in no way measures up. The Rigatoni Bolognaise was bland and tasteless and the Chicken Parmesan with Spaghetti was less appetizing than fast food. Bread was grocery store quality and the Chocolate Mousse was more like pudding from the grocery store that was thrown into a cup. Service was good and the staff was polite. I don't leave bad reviews but being from NY I expected a lot better and others should deserve the same.

One thing I had on my bucket list was to have an authentic Italian meal in Little Italy. My girlfriends and I went to the Feast of San Gennaro and decided to go to Casa Bella for a meal. It was crowded, which is to be expected but what I didn't expect was for the food to be so bland. We started with calamari which wasn't greasy - it was ok. I ordered veal parmigiana with spaghetti which had NO taste. No seasoning, not even garlic - lol. Now what WAS good was the Sangria. We had two pitches of it - that's how good it was. I've had better meals at other Italian restaurants throughout the city and I'm sorry that my bucket list wish wasn't more enjoyable.

Incredible, incredible restaurant in Little Italy! My boyfriend and I came here for after-dinner drinks and then came back the next day for lunch. The entire staff and owners are fun, knowledgeable, great people. The espresso martinis are to die for, and the food is delicious. We plan to make this location a regular for our NYC trips. Tourist trap.... Stay away. Food is not good or authentic, food took 45 min to get from the time we ordered gnocchi tasted like flour and rubber.

Everyone says that there are no great Italian restaurants in Little Italy anymore - may I present to you the sole reason why I beg to differ. Casa Bella has a wonderful, kind man who stays out front greeting potential customers. I was wandering around on the streets of Little Italy on a Wednesday evening when he beckoned me in with promises of delicious sauces and affordable prices. And he was right. They start you off with a basket of bread and butter. Nothing to write home about but the bread is warm, the butter is cold and the ambiance is inviting. The staff is attentive but not smothering and they don't pressure you to order any more than you want. I see a few regulars who they greet by name. On the weekends they have lunch specials which is a nice surprise. I really would put this restaurant in the affordable category, especially for New York. They have specials that change daily to keep it interesting. Pasta is all made fresh in house which is a very nice surprise. The sauces are flavorful. The alfredo - amazingly not too thick and heavy. The marinara - deep and aromatic. Highly recommend.

What a fabulous meal we had here. Our server Pepe was a joy. We also loved the atmosphere. Im used to paying much more for a party of 4. If you are in Little Italy give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.

We weren't sure where to go for dinner and were pulled into Casa Bella by a man promoting the restaurant, and I'm glad that we did. We started with the meatballs which were some of the best I've had. The tomato sauce was so simple, so fresh, so amazing. My girlfriend had the rigatoni alla vodka which was fantastic; the pancetta added a richness that put it on a new level. I had the spaghetti pescatore and aside from amazing, the only way I can describe it is fresh. All of the seafood was simply top-tier and the sauce once again stood in a league of its own. Aside from this, our wait staff provided outstanding service and who doesn't love sitting outside for dinner on a beautiful fall evening? I absolutely can't wait to go back.

This place is THE CUTEST!! We were greeted at the door by a very friendly man encouraging us to come in for dinner and I'm so glad we did. The ambiance was spectacular. There was a live singer who was absolutely amazing, she had an incredible voice. In addition to the immaculate vibes, the food and service were both top tier. We split the ravioli fritti (which came with marinara sauce on the side) and grilled mushrooms, both were wonderful. Overall 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Would go to any other spot. Food was lukewarm. One server was nice but the other was weird. One was eating as they were taking an order. Barely any wine by the glass which is wild for an Italian spot. The owner or manager was walking around drinking out of a solo cup. Gratuity was also included in the bill on a two top. Maybe it's because it was during San Gennaro but def not worth it.

Love this place. Carlo our server was so nice. The last two times I've been in NY I've gone. There were 12 of us eating and everyone enjoyed their food

If you're looking for a hidden gem in Little Italy, I would recommend you to come here. Especially for their lunch specials. They are very accommodating. For example, I am a vegetarian and I was waiting for my friend and he didn't rush me as I was waiting for my friend who was a few stops away in the train. The staff is very friendly and they will listen to your needs. Do keep in mind they are very fast so if one person puts their card before anyone else they will immediately process it. Oh, I was near the area and I wandered to find a place where I could meet my friend for lunch on found this large Italian restaurant that has old-school vibes and great service.

This is definitely one of the places to be in Little Italy! I love hearing Bitsey's stories about Little Italy and not to mention she's extremely accommodating! The food is classic Italian American, which could you could NEVER go wrong with. If you haven't been since the remodel, you should definitely check it out because it's stunning.

It was Friday night after church event a block away from here. So we haven't made any reservation, however they were busy but accepted and squeezed a table and letted us in. We really appreciated cause our party was 3 elder lady who has cane, couldn't longer walk . Actually we were supposed to go to the restaurant right next door but they didn't accept without reservation and the receptionist was so snobby. We were really lucky and happy to find this restaurant. As for food, I order linguine clam sauce but switch to Al dente spaghetti, that was pretty good! Others order chicken w/ artichoke That also very good! The server Danny was sweet and patient + good looking, so all my fussy madam were satisfied their food and service. Thank you. I write here some notes as tips: they accept up to 2 credit cards for spread check Bath room is upstairs, be careful if someone has injury, and cane or walker.

Service was prompt and very attentive. Food was extremely good. Price was lower than expected, and portions were generous. Highly recommended!

The ambiance is excellent and the staff are delightful. The food was very traditional and delicious. We had the meatballs, the lasagna and chicken with peppers and artichoke hearts. Followed by pistachio Gelato and NY cheesecakes. Gelato was good but not the best we have ever had and the cheese cake didn't disappoint, light and tasty.

All I can say is hands down best restaurant in Little Italy! Our family have been loyal patrons and friends for years. The new renovations are stunning and the staff makes you feel at home. Bravo CasaBella !

Horrible service. Came in for a quick appetizer and pasta dish. Waiter was chatting with another customer. Took us a few times to waive down the waiter. After ordering it took at least 40 minutes for the food to arrive as once again we had to waive someone down and the food was cold. We ordered the caprese - tomatoes were not very ripe, cheese ok, carbonara- a little oily but descent flavor and lasagna - good portion but average. My biggest regret was leaving a tip.

Amazing food along with attentive service. Good portions made for sharing. Good value for authentic Italian cuisine. Sorry, we ate all our food before we could snap a picture. Rigatoni ala vodka is off the hook.

Just wanted to experience little italy on short noticed and got lucky enough to get a table for 2 at Casa Bella. We shared the Caprese salad, fettuccine Alfredo w/shrimp and the Gnocchi. Everything was wonderful. I love to have a little bread before the food comes and they serve a lightly toasted sourdough bread with butter. Kosta was our server and he was so attentive but also not intrusive. Very pleasant experience and the staff was on top of water refills and table clearing. It was such a smoothly ran place. They had a few big parties come and to while we were there and they transitioned very fast but we didn't even noticed them working around us!

We ordered fritto misto and linguine alle vongole! The food was amazing and the service was excellent!!! As an italian, I really recommend this restaurant!

Don't come here food is not authentic Italian food and the mixed drinks are absolutely disgusting. Had to take back 2 drinks because they unconsumable. Lasagna tasted like frozen food. They charge for everything. No free refills and $5 to share a plate. Just go somewhere else.

Last night we had a really great family dinner for visiting relatives and as always the food and service was excellent. I love the personal touch and attention we get from everyone at Casa Bella. Everything was absolutely delicious! Will continue to love this place

A mediocre red sauce restaurant in Little Italy, a tourist trap. Not bad but nothing to write home about,

Taylor is the bartender at this beautiful Italian restaurant and an absolute gem. We randomly met her outside the restaurant where she offered to take our family photo. She was so bubbly and funny and really went the extra mile to make sure we took the best photo possible. She wanted nothing in return but little did she know she made our entire night. She had such an impact we had to come back. Her smile lit the room and while we sang and danced at our table along to the classic Italian music. It was a memory my family and I will never forget. We were greeted by the owners family and everyone truly made it feel like home. We can't wait to come back and would recommend Casa Bella to everyone! 10/10 ! Thank you for everything!
