I love that this ristorante was right in the middle of Mulberry Street in Little Italy. The guy who sat us to our table was very kind and friendly and he happily obliged to make a vegetarian pizza for us upon requesting. We thoroughly enjoyed our food, delicious drinks and the whole awesome vibe...

We stopped for the $19 lunch menu. It came with an appetizer, meal, and dessert. They automatically charged gratuity and we had one lemonade. The total was $31. They also charge a processing fee for cards. We weren't a fan of the food. However, the atmosphere boosted the score. Its right in the middle of little Italy.

The pasta wasn't homemade, it was made with a $1 box of pasta. We ordered their special dinner (entree, main dish and dessert) making chicken parm with spaghetti and fusilli al pesto our choices. The fusilli were horrible, "al dente" but since it wasn't homemade they were just hard. The chicken parm with spaghetti was a regular chicken parm, nothing special. The price at least was ok, we paid $25 each for the dinner special but again, the oasta was horrible, I prefer paying $40 for a good dish than $25 for a horrible experience. Be aware that they include tips by themselves (in our case $10). Something that bothered us was the fact that in the menu says "3% more if you pay with CREDIT card". For that reason we paid with DEBIT card and anyways they charged us the 3% more. We asked why and one of the waitresses told us in a VERY rude way that debit and credit is the same and next time we shouldn't assume, we should ask.... WHY WOULD I ASK SOMETHING THAT IS SPECIFICALLY WRITTEN ????? Then he kept saying that 3% is not a big difference in money. We weren't concerned about the money itself, we were angry because of the way he spoke to us when we asked. I wouldn't come here if I were you, horrible food, not nice service. Don't spend $25 dollars for a $3 dollar pasta you can make at home

Casa Bella has been renovated. Fresh look and good food. Service is good as well. Be sure to see "Tommy The Bear" out front. He'll set you up with a good table!

We had an amazing dining experience at Casa Bella! We came in as a large group — 15 of us total, including 10 kids and 5 adults — and the staff handled everything with such grace, patience, and professionalism. It’s not easy to manage a group of that size, especially with so many kids, but the service was seamless and welcoming from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and authentically Italian. Everyone found something they loved, from the pasta and pizza to the desserts. The atmosphere was cozy and lively, perfect for families and large groups. We left full, happy, and impressed. Thank you, Casa Bella, for making our night so enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back!

The food and service here was amazing! They were very attentive and kind. We enjoyed all the food we ordered but the Fresh Burrata, Bolognese, and Tiramisu were our favorite dishes. The presentation was a 10/10. The pictures we took here were beautiful because the atmosphere of the restaurant is perfect for pictures during dinner time. Love the lighting.

Casa Bella has undergone a new renovation. Venue looks spectacular! 🥇🥇 Love sitting here on the corner of Mulberry & Hester st. Taking in the sights and beauty all around. 👍👍 House wine for $9 accompanied by calamari for extra. Great great vibes. The staff are fantastic and easy going. Good spot for a date or just a drink at the bar.

Yelp
Carlo was amazing! Great service and great food, one of our favorite places to dine with the family!

Yelp
Food was excellent, service was a below zero, never received any refills on water or iced tea , manager was very aggressive getting customer off the street into the restaurant , Did not check on us once, when we asked for a ice tea to go , he said I would have to charge you 5 bucks for another tea, even though we already ordered one... Bad bad customer service

Yelp
Casa Bella in Little Italy is the spot for stunning vibes, comforting Italian eats, and straight-up cheese pulls that will leave you in awe. We kicked off our feast with clams oreganata (a personal fave!), perfectly crispy fried calamari, and mozzarella in carrozza that came through with an EPIC cheese pull--seriously, it was a moment. Then came the pasta lineup of our dreams: creamy, dreamy carbonara, penne à la vodka that hit just right, classic spaghetti and meatballs, hearty rigatoni Bolognese, and a soul-warming bowl of pasta fagiolo. Every bite was like a warm hug, exactly what we needed after facing the freezing NYC streets. This spot truly gave everything--a gorgeous interior, iconic dishes, and all the cozy feels. If you're strolling through Little Italy, do yourself a favor and grab a seat at Casa Bella. It's a vibe you'll want to relive again and again. Full video reel on IG @foodaholicnj

Yelp
Tommy the Nose caught the attention of our group of 8. He was funny, friendly and had the best voice. Name a Frank Sinatra song and he'll sing it. Food was absolutely delicious! We had the calamari and lasagna. They were the best we've ever had!

Yelp
We did not have a good experience here. The food is mediocre at best. My son would not even eat the pizza. It tasted like a frozen red Baron. I personally would not ever return here again. It is so overpriced for what you get plus they claimed It was happy hour. :-/ our drinks were two coronas and one glass of Cabernet. I'm assuming he decided to bring me the priciest Cabernet without asking. Plus, we were only a party of three and they charged us gratuity Also, why is my bill a different price than My credit card was charged ? Very odd Don't bother going here

Yelp
Today I had the opportunity to dine in this restaurant and it was amazing... The service was a one the food was perfectly cooked. I ate with my friend. We had some Italian drink that was amazing... The mood was great. It was around lunchtime perfect lunchtime 3 course $21 meal... the ambience was perfect and on point I will definitely go back and I definitely recommend!

Yelp
My friend and I were lulled into this restaurant as we were galavanting around SoHo. The happy hour was nice and since it was really cold and windy outside we found reprieve inside. We sat in the bar area and were immediately served our mimosa and Bellini. The Bellini was especially delicious! We didn't stay long but it was an enjoyable experience nonetheless!

Yelp
My family loved everything we had to eat here!! The ambiance was great and the guy on the street totally hooked us to coming in lol. I LOVED the vodka pasta and my dad loved the lobster ravioli and he's a pretty picky guy.

Yelp
Tourist trap.... Stay away. Food is not good or authentic, food took 45 min to get from the time we ordered gnocchi tasted like flour and rubber.

Yelp
Incredible, incredible restaurant in Little Italy! My boyfriend and I came here for after-dinner drinks and then came back the next day for lunch. The entire staff and owners are fun, knowledgeable, great people. The espresso martinis are to die for, and the food is delicious. We plan to make this location a regular for our NYC trips. When you walk past, tell Tommy hello!

Yelp
Service was prompt and very attentive. Food was extremely good. Price was lower than expected, and portions were generous. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Been to this restaurant quite a few time and never disappoints. Menu and service are good. If you're in a hurry, definitely don't go because the food takes a bit of time. Last night the hot antipasto was fabulous as for the entrée last night was the first time very disappointed! Veal sorrentina was not good . Only good thing was veal was tender other than that it was not good. Cheesecake and coffee very good . Def will go back because I have been there many times, and it was always very good so don't know what happened last night

Yelp
We weren't sure where to go for dinner and were pulled into Casa Bella by a man promoting the restaurant, and I'm glad that we did. We started with the meatballs which were some of the best I've had. The tomato sauce was so simple, so fresh, so amazing. My girlfriend had the rigatoni alla vodka which was fantastic; the pancetta added a richness that put it on a new level. I had the spaghetti pescatore and aside from amazing, the only way I can describe it is fresh. All of the seafood was simply top-tier and the sauce once again stood in a league of its own. Aside from this, our wait staff provided outstanding service and who doesn't love sitting outside for dinner on a beautiful fall evening? I absolutely can't wait to go back.

Yelp
If you're looking for a hidden gem in Little Italy, I would recommend you to come here. Especially for their lunch specials. They are very accommodating. For example, I am a vegetarian and I was waiting for my friend and he didn't rush me as I was waiting for my friend who was a few stops away in the train. The staff is very friendly and they will listen to your needs. Do keep in mind they are very fast so if one person puts their card before anyone else they will immediately process it. Oh, I was near the area and I wandered to find a place where I could meet my friend for lunch on found this large Italian restaurant that has old-school vibes and great service.

Yelp
A great little bite when wandering around New York City. The food is a bit reminiscent of that of a fazolis, but smidge overpriced! I'd recommend the spaghetti and meatballs as a simple bite; however, the fettuccine Alfredo was a bit too plain and the additional $7 charge for chicken is not worth it. The wait staff is very cordial! Side note: a sparkling water is additional in cost! Cheers

Yelp
One thing I had on my bucket list was to have an authentic Italian meal in Little Italy. My girlfriends and I went to the Feast of San Gennaro and decided to go to Casa Bella for a meal. It was crowded, which is to be expected but what I didn't expect was for the food to be so bland. We started with calamari which wasn't greasy - it was ok. I ordered veal parmigiana with spaghetti which had NO taste. No seasoning, not even garlic - lol. Now what WAS good was the Sangria. We had two pitches of it - that's how good it was. I've had better meals at other Italian restaurants throughout the city and I'm sorry that my bucket list wish wasn't more enjoyable.

Yelp
Everyone says that there are no great Italian restaurants in Little Italy anymore - may I present to you the sole reason why I beg to differ. Casa Bella has a wonderful, kind man who stays out front greeting potential customers. I was wandering around on the streets of Little Italy on a Wednesday evening when he beckoned me in with promises of delicious sauces and affordable prices. And he was right. They start you off with a basket of bread and butter. Nothing to write home about but the bread is warm, the butter is cold and the ambiance is inviting. The staff is attentive but not smothering and they don't pressure you to order any more than you want. I see a few regulars who they greet by name. On the weekends they have lunch specials which is a nice surprise. I really would put this restaurant in the affordable category, especially for New York. They have specials that change daily to keep it interesting. Pasta is all made fresh in house which is a very nice surprise. The sauces are flavorful. The alfredo - amazingly not too thick and heavy. The marinara - deep and aromatic. Highly recommend.

Yelp
"Tommy" said happy hour. We had group of 5 When we paid tab and the drinks were all full price. We questioned it, but were told it's only certain drinks. Two new bartenders in one day. Bad customer service

Yelp
The ambiance is excellent and the staff are delightful. The food was very traditional and delicious. We had the meatballs, the lasagna and chicken with peppers and artichoke hearts. Followed by pistachio Gelato and NY cheesecakes. Gelato was good but not the best we have ever had and the cheese cake didn't disappoint, light and tasty.

Yelp
All I can say is hands down best restaurant in Little Italy! Our family have been loyal patrons and friends for years. The new renovations are stunning and the staff makes you feel at home. Bravo CasaBella !
google avatar

Sandra V.

Yelp
Horrible service. Came in for a quick appetizer and pasta dish. Waiter was chatting with another customer. Took us a few times to waive down the waiter. After ordering it took at least 40 minutes for the food to arrive as once again we had to waive someone down and the food was cold. We ordered the caprese - tomatoes were not very ripe, cheese ok, carbonara- a little oily but descent flavor and lasagna - good portion but average. My biggest regret was leaving a tip.

Yelp
This place is THE CUTEST!! We were greeted at the door by a very friendly man encouraging us to come in for dinner and I'm so glad we did. The ambiance was spectacular. There was a live singer who was absolutely amazing, she had an incredible voice. In addition to the immaculate vibes, the food and service were both top tier. We split the ravioli fritti (which came with marinara sauce on the side) and grilled mushrooms, both were wonderful. Overall 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Yelp
Amazing food along with attentive service. Good portions made for sharing. Good value for authentic Italian cuisine. Sorry, we ate all our food before we could snap a picture. Rigatoni ala vodka is off the hook.

Yelp
We ordered fritto misto and linguine alle vongole! The food was amazing and the service was excellent!!! As an italian, I really recommend this restaurant!

Yelp
It was Friday night after church event a block away from here. So we haven't made any reservation, however they were busy but accepted and squeezed a table and letted us in. We really appreciated cause our party was 3 elder lady who has cane, couldn't longer walk . Actually we were supposed to go to the restaurant right next door but they didn't accept without reservation and the receptionist was so snobby. We were really lucky and happy to find this restaurant. As for food, I order linguine clam sauce but switch to Al dente spaghetti, that was pretty good! Others order chicken w/ artichoke That also very good! The server Danny was sweet and patient + good looking, so all my fussy madam were satisfied their food and service. Thank you. I write here some notes as tips: they accept up to 2 credit cards for spread check Bath room is upstairs, be careful if someone has injury, and cane or walker.

Sienna T.

Yelp
Don't come here food is not authentic Italian food and the mixed drinks are absolutely disgusting. Had to take back 2 drinks because they unconsumable. Lasagna tasted like frozen food. They charge for everything. No free refills and $5 to share a plate. Just go somewhere else.

Louis H.

Yelp
A mediocre red sauce restaurant in Little Italy, a tourist trap. Not bad but nothing to write home about,

Jaimie S.

Yelp
The food was phenomenal and Carlo was the absolute best! The restaurant was stunning and very well cleaned! Will be back!!!

Yelp
Just wanted to experience little italy on short noticed and got lucky enough to get a table for 2 at Casa Bella. We shared the Caprese salad, fettuccine Alfredo w/shrimp and the Gnocchi. Everything was wonderful. I love to have a little bread before the food comes and they serve a lightly toasted sourdough bread with butter. Kosta was our server and he was so attentive but also not intrusive. Very pleasant experience and the staff was on top of water refills and table clearing. It was such a smoothly ran place. They had a few big parties come and to while we were there and they transitioned very fast but we didn't even noticed them working around us!

Ryan S.

Yelp
While the dinner was fantastic, the updated interior really takes this restaurant to the next level. Wow! The Penne Vodka was superb and the service was off the charts. Highly recommend to anybody on Mulberry.

Yelp
Beautifully remodeled! Definitely a must see in Little Italy. The food was absolutely delicious and everyone was super accommodating for vegetarians. The service was impeccable and the staff were super friendly. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Last night we had a really great family dinner for visiting relatives and as always the food and service was excellent. I love the personal touch and attention we get from everyone at Casa Bella. Everything was absolutely delicious! Will continue to love this place

Yelp
Taylor is the bartender at this beautiful Italian restaurant and an absolute gem. We randomly met her outside the restaurant where she offered to take our family photo. She was so bubbly and funny and really went the extra mile to make sure we took the best photo possible. She wanted nothing in return but little did she know she made our entire night. She had such an impact we had to come back. Her smile lit the room and while we sang and danced at our table along to the classic Italian music. It was a memory my family and I will never forget. We were greeted by the owners family and everyone truly made it feel like home. We can't wait to come back and would recommend Casa Bella to everyone! 10/10 ! Thank you for everything!
google avatar

Yelp
Tried Casa Bella out during the Feast of San Gennaro for lunch with my family. We had a large table by the window for 6. Great for people watching. The menu was pretty extensive but eventually we decided on margherita pizza, calamari, spaghetti and meatballs, spaghetti pescatore, fried zucchini and francese chicken. Portion size was good and the flavors were nice classic Italian. Every dish was on point, no complaints at the table. Try Casa Bella!
google avatar

Tonya L.

Yelp
Most fun I had in sooo long! Food was good but Gloria and the Frank Sinatra singer stole the show! Most laughs. Best time. I would love to bottle that night and sip it forever! Prices eh but the two performers make it all worthwhile! I wish I lived around the corner, I'd be a regular!!!
google avatar

Nicole B.

Yelp
I've always said you can tell if an Italian restaurant is going to be good by the bread they serve. Well they had soft bread that was okay and pre packaged butter. It's safe to say the food is as average as the fake flowers outside. The bruschetta was mostly just tomatoes. Most of the meals were lacking flavor, including the margarita pizza. Which looked like a cheese pizza with peppers on it.
google avatar

Priyadarshini K.

Yelp
The ambience was great but the food not so much. We ordered the margherita pizza and spaghetti with meatballs. The staff was friendly and responsive.

Yelp
* Tourist Alert * So myself and 3 others are on vacation. We had been hopping between restaurants and bars throughout our Friday (first day). We were walking through little Italy and had just eaten at Lombardi's. We were just looking for some drinks and someone standing outside asked us if we were looking for something to eat. My group advised him that we were only looking for drinks and the guys said "okay." This guy walked into the restaurant (guided us, I guess), then bailed. We stood around for a minute and we ended up walking into the dining room on the right side from the entrance. Nobody cared to really guide us from there or anything because we sat at a little table for four. A couple more minutes passed by and a lead came to let us know that we needed to sit at the bar because we were not getting any food. Would have been nice to know on our way in but whatever. We took the only 3 available seats and ordered our drinks. One person asked for a mojito and they were told that they had no mint. 20 minutes later, queue a full container of mint for another customer's drink. After one drink each and the experience, we decided to head on our way. Cherry on top was the gratuity which was never mentioned beforehand at any time during our visit. Not even when the young female bartender handed us the check. The only thing circled (largely) was the total. You live and you learn but glad we didn't spend any more money there. Any other number of bars/pubs would have been a better choice for a drink. 10 out of 10, would never go back again.

Yelp
AMAZING FOOD AND DRINKS, so fun for a little date night. The portions are huge and the food is delicious. The perfect place to go with your significant other or besties for some red wine and bolognese pasta

Yelp
really love it here the atmosphere is so nice. the lighting is great and the staff is so nice. the food is so yummy and they can seat so many people in your party too. i loved my lobster ravioli and the appetizer baked clams. one of my favorite places to stop by when i'm in new york.
google avatar

Pavel K.

Yelp
It was okay. Service really sucked. We had to be on them constantly. We didn't get bread at all. Portions were big, basically you pay for two portions right away and have to split it.

Maritza Q.

Yelp
The food was amazingly delicious and fresh seafood . The service is on point with nice and warm bread . They live music made the dinner wonderful experience and great price!
google avatar

Yelp
Cute place. The staff here is fantastic and so friendly. Very accommodating. The martinis here are perfect. We had a dirty martini and an espresso martini & will definitely be back die more. Food wise, it's good. Nothing too special but still very good. Although I would absolutely come back to see Mateo. He was bussing our table, grabbing us water & bread & would check up on us besides our server. He is one of the loveliest service workers I have ever met! Thanks so much Mateo!
google avatar

Vanessa C.

Yelp
Located in Little Italy, Manhattan, this cute restaurant was quite the treat. We popped in here for dessert & drinks and was quite impressed with the layout of the restaurant. Recommendation: the tiramisu was heavenly, I will definitely return to have it again-$10. Order the Irish coffee with cream- they will steam the cream for u-$14. If you enjoy sparking wine but also want to get into red wine then definitely order the Lambrusco-$14 a glass- definitely over priced but a yummy red sparkling wine.

Yelp
Experience May18th 2019** Came here for date night after finding this gem on Yelp of course , and I was truly satisfied that I did , we were greeted at the door and sat promptly for our reservation . We received excellent service, the cocktails were really good and we opted for the seafood platter for 2 for dinner . Everything was absolutely fresh and delicious and the server was super kind and attentive. I'll def be back !! Try it !

EH B.

Yelp
Great food and friendly attentive service. Portion sizes are perfect with room for leftover overs. We had the pizza and chicken parm and left full and happy.
google avatar

Andrea C.

Yelp
Carlo was our server and he was fantastic, quick , attentive and knew the menu well. The restaurant feels very homey and the service is amazing. The food was amazing , the linguine with clams was so light and the pasta cooked perfectly. The chicken parm with vodka sauce was so good it doesn't normally come like that but the substitution really elevated it . Spaghetti bolognese was a solid dish needed a little more flavor but not a favorite and very flavorful , chicken francaise was good just needed a little extra sauce but the flavor was great. Gnocchi very good very cheesy.
