This is a lovely hotel, such a shame that it is closing. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. They have another hotel called casa Blu which we would stay in when visiting Crete again.

Loved it again First time in 25 years we have returned to the same place and are now considering next year as well.. staff all so friendly and helpful (and occasionally cheeky). Cocktails possibly amongst the best in the village. So relaxed generally and had a great week

Hotel is in need of serious improvement, operator of the property is not doing basic maintenance or upkeep. Not a four star by any measure, two star at best. Rooms are run down and in need of renovation. Outdated appliances and decor. Cheap furnishings from IKEA or an outdoor supply store. Internet is extremely slow - a 4G LTE connection split amongst the whole property with the WiFi access point located outside on the roof of the pool bar facing the rooms. Pool has not been thoroughly cleaned in a long time. Breakfast was okay but not great. The staff are very friendly and try to work through the lack of support from the operator. It was made clear by the staff that the operator has less than a year remaining on the lease, so they are doing only the bare minimum and letting the property suffer. Very disappointed as the hotel does not match how it is presented. Location is okay but nowhere close to park. Would not recommend.

Parking situation is horrible. You get shushed away from the street in front of the hotel even if you’re a guest.

Lovely hotel which we have walked past many times on previous visits to the village and have at last stayed at. Costa and his team are fantastic and looked after us very well during our stay. Our visit was very relaxing and pretty laid back, as well as the hotel team we met some other lovely people there which made for a lovely holiday. There were always plenty of sunbeds to go around if a day by the pool was what was wanted and there were also several beaches within walking distance if a change was required. The hotel was well placed for the bars and tavernas in the evenings and the hotel bar was a great place for a nightcap before bed. A big thank you thank to the whole team for a great stay.

Excellent hotel, with fantastic staff, who always make your holiday, especially Georgia, she is life and soul of the breakfast/daytime bar...... and she gets a bonus if you mention her in a review 😉 The evening bar manager Vangelis is also a great guy who endeavours to get you well oiled every night, he's also the best cocktail maker in Crete. The owner Costas can't do enough to help in any way he can, lovely friendly bloke. Also the lovely Artemis, on reception, always ready to help. Highly recommend this hotel, superb facilities... best holiday we've have had, so we've booked for next year. Can't wait to be back.

What a great hotel and fantastic group of people working there. From the cleaners who clean the rooms and change the towels every single day and Georgia, who served breakfast and lunch, and liked to have a chat and a laugh with you to Vangelis, who is one of the best and nicest bar men around that also makes his own amazing cocktails aswell as all the normal ones. Then you have the manager / cook Kostas, who is by far one of the best cooks in the area and only does lunches, which are very, very good. The portions are also very generous and well priced. There are a lot of people who come here repeatedly year after year and are also so friendly one nicer than the other. There are only 20 rooms here, so if you get a chance to book a room at this hotel, jump at the chance before it's gone. You will not regret it.

This hotel was incredible, the staff were kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked every morning, and the staff went above and beyond. Shout out to Vangelis and his cocktails, which were some of the best we’ve tried. The room was lovely and they had cleaners who also went above and beyond, we had a nice balcony with a sea view. The surrounding village Koutouloufari is also lovely! with lots of restaurants and bars to try. We will definitely visit again.
