Our 22-hour stay here was good enough as our main agenda was to go in Rizal park and museums. It is a few steps away from there and popular fastfood chains are also around the place. There are also ATMs, banks and drugstore around the area. The room we had was the "Petite double" and it was good for us, a 2 adults (both slim lol) and 1 kid. The AC was working fine, the bathroom was clean as we arrived and spacious enough (shampoo and body soap present). Hotel staffs were very accommodating. Overall, it was great stay.

⭐ Rating: 3/5 Stars (Average) ✅ The Good (Pros) Atmosphere and Ambiance: The moment you enter the lobby, the hotel is noticeably fresh and pleasant-smelling. The overall feel of the place is very cozy and homey, which is a great first impression. Room Comfort & Amenities: I booked a Standard King Room, which was perfectly adequate for my stay. It was comfortable and, importantly for business travelers or those needing to work, it was equipped with a dedicated table/workspace. Staff Service (Baggage): Despite the lack of an elevator, the staff were incredibly helpful. They were proactive and assisted immediately with my heavy bags upon arrival and departure, which I greatly appreciated. ⚠️ Areas for Improvement (Cons) Delayed Check-in Process (Major Concern): The official check-in time is 2:00 PM. I arrived shortly after, between 2:00 and 2:15 PM, but was not given a room until 3:00 PM. I understand the reason given was that no rooms were available yet, and while the staff offered an apology for the wait, an apology alone felt insufficient given the circumstances. Every hour counts when traveling, and despite having a lobby, waiting an hour past the guaranteed check-in time was frustrating, especially when carrying a heavy backpack. Contrasting Policy: Furthermore, I found it ironic that the very next morning, around 10:00 AM, I received a call to remind me of the strict 12:00 PM check-out time. A bit more flexibility would be appreciated when the hotel is unable to meet its own check-in standard. Inoperable TV/Cable: I was unable to use the TV in the room because the cable service had no signal. This is a basic amenity that should be functional for all guests. Massage Service Disappointment (Service Issue): I inquired about a massage service at the reception desk. I was given a flyer with a therapist's number. When I called the therapist from my room, they were unavailable. I informed the receptionist, who kindly offered to find an alternative. However, after an hour, they texted me that another therapist wasn't available either. I was hoping the hotel would go the extra mile to look for a reliable, nearby alternative or have a better system for in-house services, especially since it was already late (around 9-10 PM) and I was hesitant to venture out. Lack of Elevator: While the staff handled my bags, the lack of an elevator may be a significant inconvenience for guests with mobility issues. 📝 Overall Conclusion Would I recommend this hotel? Yes, the atmosphere is lovely, and the staff are helpful with bags. If you are looking for a simple, homey stay and the amenities are not your top priority, it's a fine choice. Will I return? Personally, no. The inconsistency in service (delayed check-in, unreliable third-party service, and non-working TV), particularly the major inconvenience of the delayed check-in without any meaningful compensation or flexibility, means I will likely look for a hotel with more reliable service standards in the future.

Mixed feelings about this place: service is good, but the interior (especially) the bathroom is old (also the water pressure does not seem enough), walls are thin, so you can hear upstairs showering…. Price is fair, personnel and services are good. And it’s in center enough. I would definitely still give it a second chance. Maybe after reconstruction it would be even better! Recommend for solo travellers.

At first, our booking was almost cancelled since our schedule fell during peak season. We requested that they find a way to accommodate us because we couldn’t book at other hotels, and they granted our request. The room was fine, and their staff were very polite and nice. All my requests during our stay were easily fulfilled, and for that, I give them 5 stars.

Be careful with this hotel. I booked through Booking.com and shortly afterward, I received a request from their account for payment, card details, etc. I notified the hotel of this phishing attempt, but despite seeing the message on WhatsApp, they haven't responded. They're the ones sending the requests. Scam

My overnight stay at Casa Bocobo in September 2025 was fantastic and I can't recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, we were well taken care of, with the hotel staff and security guards being incredibly approachable and helpful. They even accommodated an early check-in for a small fee, which was a huge convenience. The location is a major highlight. We were able to walk to so many places, including McDo, 7-11, J.Co, Amber's, SLEC, and Robinson's Place. It made grabbing food and shopping a breeze. As for the room, it was a perfect place to be well-rested. The AC was cold, the room was spotless, and the hot water shower was a welcome touch. We also appreciated the reliable Wi-Fi and cable TV, along with the free drinking water and free parking. Overall, it was a truly great experience that made our trip so much more comfortable.

A very good hotel near Intramuros area, Rizal park and Philippines national museum. You can go walking during the daylight without problems. At night the area has not too many people on the street but the hotel has private guards on the main door.

The room was nice. The staff were approachable and friendly but the best thing about this hotel is the location! Fastfood chains and 7/11 are a few steps away. Robinsons is 10 minutes away by foot, landmarks are only few minutes away! i felt at home in my hotel room. The bed was comfy and the comforter was so warm and thick, wifi was fast and the warm shower works. We’ll book again once when go back to Manila for my interview at the embassy.
