Casa Boffa

This place is all very clinical. Well situated in the village. Room correct and clean but without character. Breakfast fine, with nice lady in charge of the breakfast room, but nearly everything in packets, individual servings so not very inspiring. At no point were we asked if we wanted to view the cellars, taste their wine. We had the impression there was no passion for the accommodation side of their business and we were a bit of a nuisance. The whole reception area was locked up when we went out for dinner at 8pm. So no one to ask about restaurants (there was info in the room but no info about opening hours and everything I googled seemed to be closed). Finally a wine bar that was just closing told us where to find the only restaurant that was open. If you were staying here outside of summer time with friends there is no where to sit with them. We were very disappointed.

We had wine here. It's a beautiful location with lovely views. . They don't do a "tasting" where one person gets a few different wines. We reach ordered a glass of something different and do it that way. With the wine they provide a small food plate. We also ordered water (not provided)

Fantastic B&B! In the historic center of Barbaresco next to Gaia and in the shadow of the tower). Nice rooms (large, clean, free internet, good beds, quiet, great views, very good security) good breakfast (pastries, yoghurt, selection of local cheeses, salami, ham, eggs, fresh fruit, pastries, and good coffee & tea). Fabulous view from the terrace. Oh, smd anand an in-house family winery with tastings. All for very reasonable prices.

One of our favorite stays of our entire honeymoon! Photos of the view from this bnb don't do it justice. It was an absolutely stunning scene to wake up to each morning. Incredible breakfast and kind, generous owners. There's a little patio you can relax on, and you're very close in proximity to many wineries in the region. An excellent base for your travels and exploration of Barbaresco, Barolo, and beyond!

Husband and I stayed here as we wanted to explore the Piedmonte region for 2 nights. Spacious and clean with all you need. I honestly wished we stayed longer as it was the BEST accommodation we had our honeymoon so far. Really efficient air conditioning which was pivotal for such a hot European summer. The host and hostess were are so kind, they helped us book restaurants (there are 2 Michelin guide restaurants just around the corner!). They were also so accommodating to offer breakfast earlier than usual as we had an early flight the day of check out. Bed super comfy and the shower is perfect for a hot summer’s day. They also have a super cute cat! We will be back!

This was our 2nd stay at Casa Boffa and we thoroughly enjoyed being back! The location is excellent, right in the middle of Barbaresco and within walking distance to several great restaurants. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious and the included breakfast has everything you need. The highlight for us each day was to enjoy breakfast in the morning and a delicious glass(es) of wine on the terrace in the afternoon/evening with the amazing views over the vineyards. It never got old! Add to this the wonderful hospitality of the whole Boffa family - we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

A wonderful experience. We had 3 days at Casa Boffa with Carlo and Laura. They were warm and welcoming on our arrival and that didn’t change for our entire stay. It is a unique experience because you are staying in beautifully appointed air conditioned apartments with a terrace with a beautiful outlook over the vineyards and river and you are being hosted by a 3rd generation winemaker. This makes tasting the Casa Boffa wines an informative and enriching experience as Carlo was so generous with his time and knowledge. ||Breakfast on the terrace each morning was delightful and had a broad selection of food. You are literally on the (only!) main street of Barbaresco so its barely a walk to anything! We did not avail ourselves of the bikes and instead walked to places like Nieve. The car was parked right near the property and protected. ||We honestly cannot recommend this property more highly. It was a fabulous place to stay.

Excellent communication with Laura! Laura and her husband provided us with warmth and excellent hospitality! Although we arrived earlier than the check in time, Laura and her husband got a room ready for us! She recommended us a really nice restaurant nearby the room and it was really good with great service. Besides that, they have excellent Barbaresco wines. Good breakfast with great views of the vineyards and its surroundings. Location is excellent and value for money too! If you want a memorable stay, i would strongly recommend Casa Boffa as the choice when you visit Barbaresco! 👍🏻🇮🇹
