We enjoyed staying at Casa Bombo very much. The location is great - it's brilliant being in the heart of the Albaicin and so close to Mirador San Nicolas ( up) and Plaza Nueva (down) and the views of Alhambra from the terrace/dining area are lovely. The staff are extremely friendly, kind and helpful - can't fault them. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The bathroom (bath and shower) are fine (we like the bath option) and the room storage is good. There's no chair but to be fair you can go out into the dining room or on the patio to sit. And there"s no kettle etc in the room, however there's a kettle and supply of teas in the kitchen where you can help yourself, with a comunal kettle, together with chilled drinking water. Breakfast is simple continental breakfast with fruit, yoghurt, oats and a couple of other cereals, nuts, seeds and dried fruit, then bread of some kind with lots of jam choice and some biscuits/muffins, plus cheese and ham. We have no hesitation in recommending Casa Bombo....we'd stay there again if we were ever revisiting Granada. But NB it's not for those with large suitcases....our advice, travel light because taxis can only drop you a few narrow/steep little streets away. Not a problem for us with a small suitcase and a rucksack. If you travel light, definitely give Casa Bombo a go - oh, and there's even a tiny pool and a licensed bar.

Casa Bombo is an absolute gem! The views were better than any we saw in the city, making the patio an amazing and unique place to spend a little downtime. Additionally, the women who ran the place were exceptionally helpful and kind. I fully recommend (unless getting up and down hills would be a challenge, which would be the case for any location in Albaicín).

Beautiful traditional Spanish hotel, situated in a perfect setting overlooking the magnificent Alhambra Palace. Quiet location, very close to bars, restaurants and the main areas of the city. Very welcoming, friendly and excellent service from the staff. We will definitely be coming back to Granada and this hotel.

Staying at Casa Boma was absolutely amazing! From our room, we had a breathtaking view of the Alhambra — truly unforgettable. The staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and genuinely caring, which made us feel right at home throughout our stay. The location is perfect — very central and easy to walk around and explore the city. Breakfast was fantastic and delicious, a perfect start to each day. I cannot recommend Casa Boma enough. If you’re visiting Granada, this is the place to stay. Awesome experience from start to finish!

Such a special and memorable experience. We were greeted with such warmth and professionalism after a tiring travel day. The setting is gorgeous with a view of L’Alhambra at different times of day. The room was gorgeous and well equipped to the finest details; hand soaps, fluffy towels, lovely tiles. We enjoyed leisure time and, in my case, writing time at the cafe tables on the terrace where we also had breakfast and a light aperitivo with cheeses and Iberia ham in the evening. Each person on the staff was gracious and helpful, and each made our stay a special experience, We were sad to leave.

This is truly a hidden gem! I can’t say enough about how welcoming and accommodating the staff is, and our room was lovely with the most amazing view that I have ever had in a hotel! It is a wonderful location, and there are so many things to do directly in the historic Albaicin UNESCO protected neighborhood. The breakfast was great, and we absolutely loved our stay. The big cautionary statement I would like to make, is that you cannot reach this hotel by taxi cab, it is a three or four block walk up or down steep cobblestone alleyways. This is not the place to stay if you have mobility issues! I would suggest that you splurge for a private room with a private bathroom that opens on the terrace with the plunge pool!

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was very pleasant. The staff were attentive and gave plenty of recommendations. The room was very spacious and also very clean. The breakfast was a traditional continental breakfast and was quite good.||The views were incredible. From our bed, we could see the Alhambra and snow-capped Sierra Nevada mountains. Our room also had a “private” balcony that could be accessed from it, which was just a roped off section of the main balcony. The entire outdoor area was super cute. The pool is quite small and around 6ft deep in all spots, there is no way to comfortably stand or sit in it unless you are very tall.||The hotel is not accessible by car, and can only be accessed by a stone footpath. If you think this is difficult to access, you will have the same difficulty elsewhere and would not be able to explore most of what Granada has to offer.
