Casa C'Alma

"Can you introduce to this hotel? What should we know? This boutique guesthouse in Praça das Flores has only five rooms, making it ideal for travelers who treasure privacy and quiet. The Nordic-inspired design is a refreshing break from the norm, and the affordable price point gives it an added plus. It sounds pretty charming. Who else is staying here?Globetrotting couples love the romance and intimacy at this charming inn—not to mention its proximity to great boutiques. Makes sense! How was check in?Checking in and out is a seamless process, thanks to the attentive staff and simple layout. Perfect. Now, onto the good stuff: Tell us about the digs.Clean white lines with Scandinavian design elements complement throw blankets and colorful accent pillows. Some rooms face the public garden. The suite is stocked with a king bed, extra space, and a large bathroom. Just what we need. How about the little things, like the mini bar, or shower goodies? What makes a stay here so comfortable? Most rooms have a queen-size bed, a plush bathrobe, high-end toiletries, and free coffee and tea. We love a good bathrobe. How about the room service, or the dining options in general? What are we in for? There's no restaurant or bar, but an efficient communal kitchen lets you cook your own meals when you need a break from Lisbon’s overwhelming restaurant scene. A light, but tasty, traditional Portuguese breakfast is served here in the mornings. Good to know—thanks for the heads up. Let's talk staff: If you could award one a trophy, who gets it, and why?The concierge has spot-on recommendations for shopping, cafes, and local restaurants within walking distance. Noted. Any other services or features you'd like to shout out?The shared living room is inviting and relaxing—an ideal place to kick back with a glass of BYO wine before dinner. Great tip. So, bottom line: worth it, and why?For such a charming place, this really feels like a steal." - Jenna Scatena

Casa Calma – A Hidden Gem in Lisbon ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you're looking for a perfect stay in Lisbon, Casa Calma is the place to be. This charming hotel offers an incredible value for money, exceeding all expectations in every way. From the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed into a warm and inviting atmosphere. The interior is beautifully designed, creating a sense of tranquility that lives up to its name. Everything is spotlessly clean, and the attention to detail is truly remarkable. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious breakfast served every morning. Prepared with care by a friendly and attentive staff member, it was the perfect start to each day. Casa Calma is more than just a hotel—it’s a home away from home. If you're visiting Lisbon and want a cozy, stylish, and impeccably clean place to stay, look no further. Highly recommended!

Probably one of my favorite spots to stay when in Lisbon. It‘s located at beautiful Praca das Flores. Couldn‘t imagine of staying somewhere else, but this neighborhood. The guesthouse is very well decorated and super clean. You get a perfect small breakfast with everything what you need. The host Paula made me feel like home and helps out with every concern, which is essentiell for guesthouses like that. I will definitely come back for another stay.

Lovely place to stay in a beautiful square surrounded by bars and restaurants. The rooms are peaceful, clean, very stylish and comfortable, nice common areas, good breakfast. Everything you need in a fabulous location, but what really made the difference was the communication and service from Paula and the team. Fantastic team...We can't wait to return

Perfect place to stay to get some piece and quiet while in Lisbon. It's only a short walk or bus ride from the main attractions, and is in a beautiful neighbourhood. We loved how clean everything was and the decor is amazing. Make sure you take advantage of the freshly prepared breakfast in the morning before heading out!

I would highly recommend Casa C'Alma and my husband and I can't wait to return. We felt very at home in this stylish and unique guesthouse. The room was a lovely place to relax in, breakfast was amazing and complimentary coffee and water is such a perk. Raphael is a great host and everything about the way the property is run just works so well. Only warning - the walk into town involves several hills, but it's lovely :)

Love this place! ROOM Clean, comfortable, nicely decorated with minimalist furniture. There’s an ensuite bathroom; body soap, shampoo, towels are provided. There are 5 rooms on this floor. We saw a few guests who were cordial and respectful. COMMON AREAS - The living and dining areas are really spacious. The couches and chairs are really comfortable. - The kitchen is spotless and well stocked. There’s sparkling water, tea and nespresso coffee. You can buy groceries from the supermarket across the street and keep it in the fridge. NEIGHBORHOOD Quiet, residential and safe. There’s a park downstairs with several benches you can sit on to people watch or read a book. There are also a few restaurants and cafes nearby.

We loved staying at this place. Great breakfast, gorgeous interior design, comfy beds, and Rafael, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. Also the location is perfect. It's not too far from the city's centre and there are quite a few cafes, restaurants & shops nearby.

This is the first hotel in which I’d stayed where the rooms actually do look like on the pictures online. The place is great. It is very new, clean and nicely decorated. The beds were comfy and we slept really well. The owners are friendly too. I’ll come back for sure.
