Great location on the Island, breakfast was delicious! Rooms are BIG. They have A/C, showers are big too! The attention is amazing, great price! They provide taxi to the airport! Definitely enjoyed our stay.

The people who run this place are dishonest. I preferred to pay by card. They attempted to complete the transaction but said the card reader wasn’t working. I then paid with cash. However, my credit card statement later showed that I was charge (twice). I contacted them via the number listed on their site. They wouldn’t answer my call and would only respond (very slowly) by text. They said since I was no longer on the island that they couldn’t refund my money.

Where to start?|Check in: Given a key|Staff: Seemed to be on their phones all day| Couldn’t care less|Room: Dirty| Rundown| Stains on sheets| Dated worn out furnishings | Bathroom was awful.|Grounds: unkempt| Roofing materials scattered around| No useable tables or chairs||Contacted our tour operator who arranged for us to depart a day early. Change fee and no refund for last night was worth it .||Saw lots of great reviews but I’m not sure these were authentic.||Do not stay here!

The hotel could be great - rooms are a good size, property is on the ocean with a beautiful view, but management appears to be absent. The property is run down, weeds, pool in poor condition, rooms in need of repair and a serious cleaning. Restaurant and bar essentially a no go - very little options and the 1 dinner we tried to have there was complete uneatable. Staff are nice, but spend most of their time on the phone, surfing the internet. Room was dirty, black mold in the shower, cobwebs, etc. We would not stay here again sadly.

Staff were very friendly, helpful and pleasant. Good nutritious, fresh meals at reasonable price. Fresh squeezed orange juice with breakfast included in room price. Delicious lobster and shrimp meals. Excellent New York strip steak dinner. Beautiful well kept grounds. Crystal clean swimming pool with access to the ocean. Unfortunately no beach however other beaches were a short walk nearby or by taxi for $.75 cents to other side of island. Nice freshly painted room, A/C, hot water and comfortable king size bed. Highly recommend.

I made my reservation weeks in advance on Booking.com. The hotel promises free airport pick-up on arrival if you message them. I messaged them through their website as well as through Booking.com several times, but they ignored all the messages. There's nothing more insulting than being promised a free airport pick-up in the reservation only for the hotel to break their promise and ignore you, leading me to have to walk to the hotel from the airport. Welcome to Nicaragua! :-(

This could be a great hotel. Bed is comfortable and the pool is excellent. The service staff are very nice but really don’t have a interest in you being there or offering service. They just sit there on their phones all day and evening collecting a pay check. You have to approach them to get service of any kind. The food in the restaurant was very inconsistent. The rooms are getting very dirty from lack of cleaning. There was gum stuck to the picture frame and the walls need a cleaning. The hotel is slowly being run into the ground with lack of upkeep/maintenance.

Casa Canada’s staff is very friendly and honest. This was my second time visiting the island. Without reservations they took us in and made us feel welcomed. Ninoska and staff are awesome. I am hoping to go back once the island gets back on their feet after the hurricane that hit them hard.
