Great hostel centrally located. The staff is extremely nice going far & beyond to make their guests happy. Doors are nice with lockers and curtains for additional privacy. They do different events everyday from yoga classes, sightseeing, family dinners etc,... Have laundry facilities, free amazing breakfast included every morning. Super good, highly recommended

Good to great hostel, I had alot of fun there! Found a good group of travellers, you have to make an effort at the start to meet people, but it pays off :) Free breakfast of freshly cooked pancakes, cereals (with fruit and jam toppings) and coffee. Dinner is offered on some nights for €7 (sign up in advance) and is a healthy sized portion I really liked the hostel, in low season it was very laid back, Nick the manager was great and as were the volunteers (but again you have to make an effort to engage them)

Had two lovely nights at Casa Caracol. The hostel has a homey vibe. It’s cozy and you see their love for details. The rooftop was a bonus and the staff was always super nice, attentive. The rooms could be a little bit bigger, since it’s sometimes a little hard to organise oneself. But all in all it was a nice stay and it was also always clean. Will come back for sure!

Had a lovely time at Casa Caracol. It had a really nice community vibe all throughout my stay. The hostel was very cozy with an amazing rooftop where you could hang out and meet people. They had a yummy pancake breakfast each morning, coffee too! Everyone who worked at the hostel was super helpful and kind. The beds are quite comfortable, but the rooms are a little small, but other than that, it is great. Also very clean too!!

Excellent hostel, conveniently located in the heart of Cadiz, and a very short walk from the train station. A relaxed and friendly atmosphere throughout, with the option to join tasty communal dinners at the hostel each night. I would highly recommend Casa Caracol!

Loved this cozy, quirky hostel. Staff were super welcoming; free breakfast was great; common spaces were lovely to relax and chat with other travelers; and curtains on top bunks in the 7-person shared dorm were a nice touch. I arrived in Cadiz early and stopped by to drop off my bag, and the staff were happy to let me join breakfast and ended up having a bed ready early. Joined the communal dinner (empanadas argentinas) on my second night and really enjoyed it. Very reasonable price for a low-season stay, too. My one criticism is that there’s quite a bit of mold in the en-suite bathroom in room 2, to the point that you can smell it from outside the bathroom if the door is open—a bit uncomfortable, and also a health concern. If you’re sensitive to mold, I wouldn’t recommend staying here, or at least not in that room. That said, the rest was perfect, and if that issue’s resolved I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

A homey hostel with a great mix of ages, cozy interiors, and friendly staff. The family dinners create a warm atmosphere. The best way to start the day is with their homemade pancakes!

We had booked the place for 1 night and found the people really welcoming. Right from showing us all the facilities of the hostel to helping us out with tips, the staff was really helpful. The hostel has a very homely feel to it with all the needs of the individuals carefully being thought about and provided for. The hostel is also designed in a way to ensure interaction amongst the residents. Good breakfast and sangrea were an added advantage. Would definately recommend to others.

Yelp
I stayed at Casa Caracol this past Spring as a last stop in Andalucia after taking the train to Madrid and leaving Spain. This was a great last stop. The hostel is very friendly and intimate. Other hostels I've stayed at can feel more like hotels, but this resembles a bed and breakfast. The common room is used by many guests, as is the kitchen, creating a sense of community. The beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean, and the location was great. A short walk from the train station, shaded by buildings around it, and close to the city hall square. I would stay again if I came back!

Yelp
I loved staying in this hostel. Danny, who I think is the owner, is hilarious and a total character. The rest of the staff are delightful and so helpful. The hostel has a friendly atmosphere and is beautifully decorated and clean. The hostel is centrally located; it is no more than a 10 minute walk from the train station and is close to the beach. Every morning from 9:00am-10:30am there is a free breakfast of pancakes, cereal and milk and/or tea and coffee. Breakfast is a good opportunity to meet the other backpackers staying in the hostel. Everyone gets a very spacious drawer to put all their belongings in. Staying here was one of the highlights of my trip to Spain.

Yelp
Casa Caracol was probably the best hostel I stayed in during my last trip to Spain (visited BCN, Granada & Sevilla). The rooftop with the hammocks and open shower were awesome, all the staff were fantastic and even gave us some awesome suggestions for restaurants and bars to visit. I LOVED that they had beach cruisers for rent for 5 euro, I used one every day. Because of Casa Caracol my stay in Cadiz was perfect! Will be back!

Yelp
Cadiz amazing. Casa Caracol the bomb. Incredibly nice people: guests and staff. The rooftop is amazing and it's pretty cool that they generate their own solar-energy. We loved this place and even after a few days we felt like part of the furniture. Place really reminded me of the way chilled but friendly beach hostels were in Australia in the early 2000's.

Yelp
After traveling all over Spain, I really enjoyed this hostel. It had good facilities, a comfortable bed (we stayed in the private room) in a beautiful location and building rich in history. We rented bikes from the hostel and rode all over Cadiz. It was a magical stay. I would definitely stay here again!

Yelp
Great place, great people. One of the best hostels I've been to. The space itself is great, multiple areas to chill, including a nice rooftop. This fosters a good sense of community among the people who are staying there. I met some real friends here

Yelp
i still remember walking up to this hostel and being greeted with friendly guests playing the guitar in the doorway. this was a great stay in an amazing location in Cadiz. friendly and helpful staff who provided great recommendations for exploring the city as well as helping me find my way to my next city. the rooftop with hammocks is a spot that i could have spent hours just hanging out in. highly recommend, and if i ever have the fortune of visiting Cadiz again, i would undoubtedly stay here again.

Yelp
This has been one of the better hostels I have stayed at. The location was great and right next to the city hall, and the staff was absolutely fantastic. They offer free breakfast every morning (with pancakes!!) and a cheap 5€ dinner at night which usually is pretty good. Due to the free breakfast and cheap dinner, a lot of people hangout in the common areas during this time so the atmosphere is great and it's fairly easy to make friends. The hostel is clean and I saw people cleaning the bathrooms and bedrooms everyday (the bed sheets even smell clean)! The beds are comfortable and the rooms are reasonably spacious. They have options for all girl dorms, so if you're like me, you're in luck :) The hostel also has a rooftop terrace with hammocks, if you're looking for a good place to nap. I will absolutely recommend this hostel in the future as it has a great atmosphere at a very reasonable price!

Yelp
What a gem! I stayed here for a couple nights back in January and had a lovely time. It's convenient to all the major spots--train station, beach, main square, market--and it somehow feels cozy & intimate while having a lot of places to relax. The rooftop is awesome, and the other lounges are very comfortable. Very cool design touches throughout. Delicious pancake breakfast. Very kind & knowledgeable staff. Comfy beds & spacious lockers. Would absolutely recommend to anyone going to Cadiz!

Yelp
Casa Caracol was so fun!! I only stayed for one night, but it was such a welcoming and friendly place, especially while traveling solo. The barbeque on the open rooftop seemed excellent, and a group of us went out to the local bars together. The young lady helping out at the front desk was so nice and took me on a tour of the main communal areas in the building, as well as up to my room. Thank you all!
