Casa Cat Ba

We stayed in Casa Cat Ba for an off season holiday, and loved it so much that we extended our stay. The hotel is tranquil and tucked away, but still close to all the restaurants, bars, and activities. Perfect spot for sunset viewing, and the terrace in the top room is phenomenal. The staff are exceptional as well as friendly, and as it is a small hotel you always feel like you have the place to yourself. Cannot wait to go back at some point.

A wonderful boutique hotel with an even more amazing team! The breakfast was absolutely delightful, it was such a pleasure waking up here every morning. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, and they even gave us fantastic recommendations for places to visit beyond Holbox.

Incredible boutique stay in Hotbox! Quiet, comfortable, ocean views and incredible hosts. Cannot recommend this hotel enough! The rooms are modern, bed is comfortable, property has beds to relax in, a welcome drink is provided and the breakfast is incredible (all local ingredients and they ask preferences). Worth the value!

We hosted our wedding here in May 2025 and reserved the whole house for the duration of our stay. I can’t say strongly enough how perfect it was, the location, the staff, the aesthetic, everything went exactly as planned. ||Casa Cat Ba is beautifully located on the beach just 5mins walk from Holbox Centre and has all the amenities required for a peaceful and relaxing stay. All rooms are a good size and well appointed. ||In terms of the wedding, we hosted our ceremony on the deck in front of the hotel following by a cocktail hour. All our preparations were supported / organized by Angelina Cardenas and her team as well as the lovely Ivette from Casa Cat Ba.||The attention to detail was brilliant and both teams supported us throughout the planning process with local knowledge, connections with suppliers, and advice to make the day as perfect as it was.||We would highly recommend this hotel as a place for a wedding / celebration as well as a vacation space… we will most certainly be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Cat Ba. We even got a upgrade for our honeymoon. Paty the hostess was great and provided us with all the information and needs about the island. Definitely recommend.

Special place in the beach! Very friendly staff especially Paty. Delicious daily breakfast included yogurt, granola and fruit, followed by an authentic main dish native to the area. Such a comfortable place. Just 6 rooms, so quiet, if you’re looking for quiet. And action next door and beyond. One thing I’d like to mention is they come each night to bring us cookies. Really looked forward to that!! And the guacamole was great by the bar.

Casa Cat Ba was the absolute highlight of our journey through Mexico, and I couldn’t have imagined a better place to celebrate my birthday. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome and at home.||The entire team was absolutely wonderful – warm, friendly, and attentive to every little detail. They went out of their way to make us feel special, always asking about our day when we returned from a tour or a restaurant, and genuinely caring about our experience.||The house itself is stunning, decorated with so much love and attention to detail. Special touches like the turndown service and the welcome drinks (we’re still dreaming of those passion fruit mezcalitas!) added to the overall experience.||Our room was spacious and beautifully designed, with a super comfortable bed and, to our delight, a shower with great water pressure – something that isn’t always guaranteed on small islands!||Breakfast was another highlight – freshly prepared with love every morning, with a variety of dishes that kept things exciting and delicious.||The location of the hotel is perfect: just a short walk to the town center and mere steps from the beach, making it an ideal base to explore the beauty of Holbox.||We can’t say enough good things about the amazing staff and this magical place. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we’re so grateful for the incredible stay. Thank you, Casa Cat Ba, for making our trip unforgettable – we can’t wait to return one day!

My stay at Casa Cat Ba last week couldn’t have been better. The service team are amazing - they are friendly, helpful and attentive. Everything feels very relaxed and organised, the general style of the place is gorgeous. The location is also perfect, you are close to restaurants etc but also in a quiet environment. The breakfast every morning was honestly delicious and the drinks offered all day were great! From what I saw offered in Holbox this was the all round best - I definitely recommend ! Thank you🫶🏻
