I stayed at Casa Condado Hotel in early March to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday, and we had such a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I especially want to highlight Elizabeth, the manager, who went above and beyond to accommodate us and make sure our stay was comfortable and memorable. Her attentiveness and warm personality truly stood out and made a big difference in our trip. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a cozy vibe that made it easy to relax especially after a day out. The hotel's location was super convenient-just a short walk to the beach and surrounded by a great variety of food spots. One of my favorite parts of the hotel was the patio area on the second floor. It was a peaceful spot to sit, relax, and enjoy the breeze. Overall, our stay was everything we hoped for and more. l'd definitely come back!

Me and my husband stayed here when visiting from New York for our wedding anniversary and we cannot recommend this hotel enough! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable and we couldn't be happier with the accommodations. Everything was spotless, updated, very spacious and the hotel was walking distance to so many restaurants and only 2 blocks from the beach. If you are traveling to San Juan, definitely stay here - you won't regret it!

What an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The cleanliness of the place was impeccable, reflecting exceptional care and attention to detail, which made us feel instantly at ease and completely safe. The service provided by the manager, Elizabeth, and her team was outstanding. Their professionalism and warm hospitality truly set the tone for our stay. On top of that, the location couldn’t have been better. Just a short walk away, we discovered a variety of incredible restaurants, a breathtaking beach that left us in awe, and the iconic La Placita de Santurce. This vibrant hotspot offered an amazing mix of live music, delicious food, and the lively energy of Puerto Rican culture. If you’re seeking a place that combines comfort, top-notch service, and easy access to some of the best attractions, this is it. Without hesitation, I’d definitely stay here again. 10/10 highly recommended!

Google
Horrible service, the manager is very unprofessional. Don't bother booking. Save yourself the time and breath from speaking to someone like her. DONT RECOMMEND.....DONT BOOK. HORRIBLE SERVICE. Aprenda a dar mejor servicio al cliente. Los $180 que perdie por solamente reservar porque ni llegamos a quedarnos en el hotel como que le ayuda mas a ustedes ese Dinero. It's funny that you say upon arrival when we actually never made it to the hotel, everything was by phone and the moment we realized it said 2 people only that's when we called to cancel the reservation that was literally booked within minutes. But with the unprofessional service that you gave us, we have decided that it's a loss cause. It's okay. You can stay with the $180. You obviously need it more than giving your customers great service.

To whom it may concern, I came to Puerto Rico on a family emergency and needed a place to stay. I had book this reservation online thinking I was getting a 2 full beds. The description said (Ground Floor Studio) so not knowing what beds we were getting I spoke to a manager at the front desk to find out if they have 2 beds available. She told me no they didn't and then gave me an attitude and said she not going give me a refund. This was within an hour of booking and failed to help me in my situation. I made sure to call my bank to notify about my situation and to dispute my charge for this transaction. I did not reserved this room in advance so in my situation this happened the day of after getting charge. She should had refund me atleast my money back. I'm not happy how she handle this situation and on top of her attitude she was being disrespectful. This was very unprofessional

Came to PR and booked a stay at Casa Conrad Hotel. My flight was delayed and spoke with Elizabeth Dias the manager who let me do a late check in. I get to my room (#26) at 3am and the floor is unswept with a roach the size of my hand. I inspect the room and find hair on the white bed sheets as well as roaches coming out from the cabinets. I immediately text Elizabeth who said this must be because the door has a crack and that they come to spray for roaches twice a month. She moves me to room 3, this room doesn’t have a fridge or stove but at least no roaches. I inspect room 3 and we find pubes all over the towels and curly coiled hair in the shower from the previous visitor. We text Elizabeth and tell her the situation and ask for new towels. Her reply is “at this point I’m trying to help you but this all seems to complicated. At this point it’s best for you to exit the hotel and I’ll work with the refund. Please prepare and exit the room.” At this point I’m very frustrated, it’s 3am I just got off a flight and came to my paid for hotel, and now I’m being asked to leave because I have complaints about roaches and pubes on towels. We speak with Elizabeth and she’s able to offer two shooters at the bar downstairs. She said that is all she’s able to compensate me for. I didn’t feel like continuing to argue so I tell her I’ll take the shots and just talk to her tomorrow. She says she will arrive by 10am. I check in all throughout the day and Elizabeth doesn’t come in to work. She has a very kind employee who tells us Elizabeth alerted her of the situation and apologizes. We go on about our day and try to forget about this horrible experience. We get back to our room later in the day flush the toilet and water explodes from the top lid. I run down barefoot to find help. The employee contacts Elizabeth and maintenance and gives us a new room (#7), we set out stuff down and from behind the mini fridge, ROACH! No resolution! Jean Echevers is owner, BBB COMPLAINT IS FILED. if I can give this place zero stars I would. PR TRIP WAS RUINED!!

Google
If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. From the moment we walked into our room, we wanted to leave. We walked in to a super hot and humid room that hadn’t been swept in who knows how long. Leaves and random bugs all over the floor. Hair all over the bed and then a 3in roach laying on the ground dead!

Yelp
This property canceled my reservation at the last minute without any notice or apology. Unprofessional management and irresponsible.

Yelp
Personally a favorite place for me to stay. Nothing fancy no frills but in a great location. The staff is great and very nice. I'm here for business quite often and they've always found a way to accommodate me. Quaint, quite, a comfortable room. If your in the island you don't to spend time your time inside. There is so much out there to do and see. But at the end of the day this is a wonderful place to rest your body and get a good night sleep.

Yelp
No elevators, small room, no outlet at all for cell phone charging, parking is awful, we ask for water and they said take it from the sink, call Orbitz to cancel my reservation and they didn't refund my money back because they didn't approved. No breakfast, no friendly staff at all. Room clean but we ask for more pillows and they bring us the pillow without covers. Bed is very firm and noisy. The only good thing is close to the beach and Main Street. We paid 476 plus 45 parking for 3 nights. Next time I preferred another hotel not worth it.

Yelp
I stayed here for two nights. The experience would have been fine, but a bunch of things added up to it being an awful stay. Room: What I expected based on other reviews- minimalist, nothing fancy. Breakfast: Pros for being complementary. I got the huevos rancheros. However, I wouldn't recommend that option- it was dry and didn't have very good flavor. I left wishing I'd gotten an acai bowl down the road instead. Parking: I was lucky to get one of the spots behind the hotel, but it cost $15 per night. Location: Great. Plenty of things within walking distance and a quick Uber ride to Old Town. Water: The city shut off water half way through my stay because they were repairing a pipe. The repair should have lasted until the afternoon but there was still no water when I checked out. The receptionist tried to provide as much information as she could, but the city wasn't telling people much. The hotel should have brought complementary water to everyone's rooms, but they didn't. Luckily, Walgreens was right down the road. Noise: The AC was very rattely. No street noise. But- a car in the parking lot's alarm kept going off! It started the morning after my first night and continued until checkout. It woke me up at 3:30am and I couldn't get back to sleep. The hotel should have figured out whose car it was and fixed the problem. Overall, mediocre breakfast, no water, and an awful car alarm led to this being a 2 star review. I wouldn't recommend.

Yelp
Arrived at the hotel for checkin in on Fri Oct 5th, this hotel has a few parking spaces which you enter through the side, a little awkward to get in and out, walls are scratched with car marks and they charge you a fee of $15 per day. The gentleman during check in was very kind and accomodating but we only saw him that evening. We had 2 luggages and were assigned a room on a fourth floor walk up. After traveling all day long, the last thing you want to do is carry luggage 4 flights of stairs. I should of read the reviews before booking. The room, was just a room with a bed and a shower, The shower pole was rusted, and the curtain needed replacement... and the TV in the room was smaller than my computer screen. There is no refrigerator, no microwave, no ice available when needed. They put out 2 bags in a storage bin daily and it is quickly either taken, or melted by the time you get it....and it is only placed on the 2nd floor. The area behind the bed was extremely dusty the pillows were very deflated and overused...and when we asked for towels a few days later, the gentleman stated they didn't have anymore towels...when he saw my disappointed expression, he got up and went to get us 3 towels with holes all over them. We were very disappointed with our stay, because the staff is quick to chase you around to charge you for your drinks, or parking, ( a lady employee while we were having breakfast) but they don't move as fast to accommodate you...or to go the extra for the customer. The owners should really consider putting a fridge and microwave in each room., or at the very least, have an ice dispenser on each floor. Now for the breakfast, that was the only highlight of our stay....you do get a great breakfast from Abel and a young lady who helps him cook and serve right in front of you. The eating area is very quaint and clean. Great coffee, and breakfast daily. Overall I would not recommend this place at all...you can get alot more for the same price all over Condado. I had to give a star to review, but was very disappointed.

Yelp
I'm giving this review one star, because I can't give it any less. This 'hotel' (That's me generously using that term loosely) is the shining definition of BARE MINIMUMS! If you want a bed, a shower and a tv while in San Juan for a reasonable rate this is the place for you. There's no iron, no fridge, no microwave and virtually no customer service! The staff barely wants to talk to you and gets annoyed if you ask questions. 'Breakfast Included' by breakfast they mean BREAD.... Say it with me 'BREEEEAAAD' Stacks and stacks of bread next to a toaster with jellies cream cheese and butter. Orange and pineapple juice are available as well as coffee. Now the rooms are small but fairly clean. By small I mean you walk in and the bed is right there! The door could possibly touch the bed! There's ABSOLUTELY NO OUTLETS IN THE ROOM! I had to unplug the tv each time to charge my phone! Avoid the second floor like the plague! You hear EVERYTHING! especially during breakfast (I mean bread) hours... The a/c works amazingly, except its right next to the bed and it's uncomfortable. On a positive note, it's walking distance from everything. The beach is 2 blocks away, Ashford avenue is 1 block away with access to all the stores and restaurants you can think of! On the other end clubs and. Bars are also walking distance! I definitely got what I paid for, and even though I'm generally not fussy about hotel rooms, I'll shell out a few extra bucks for the Hilton Condado Plaza next time!

Yelp
3.5 stars for value. We stayed here for the second time just last week. The rooms are very simple, minimalist and clean. We came in close to midnight on a Friday night. This hotel is a block and a half from Avenida Ashford, where it seems that everyone 18-30 is partying at all of the clubs. Last visit we had a room along a street, and all we heard were the cars cruising up and down the street blasting their loud music. This time, we requested a room away from this and got one that faced a courtyard. Much better, we did not hear any cars or music. I was able to borrow a hair dryer at check in, as they are not offered in the room. The sheets and bedding are all white, and I really like that. The bed was clean and comfortable. There was a flat screen tv, cups and an ice bucket. In the morning there was a simple breakfast with cereals, juice, bagels to toast, butter, cream cheese, jelly, pastries, muffins and coffee. Definitely enough to get us ready for our cruise that morning. The front desk is 24 hours, which is great. The location is great if you wish to be close to the night life, or to the beach in the morning. There is no alarm clock in the room, and there is only one outlet which is in the bathroom. Not very convenient for charging phones, but it worked. All in all, with tax our room was about $100. Taxi from the airport was $21+$1/bag. Next time, we will probably look for a place closer to the airport, as Condado's night life is a bit much for us.

Yelp
This is pretty much a hidden gem. You have a basic hotel that is very clean walking distance to everything. If you are looking for an over priced luxury hotel this is not for you. This is simple but very nicely decorated with a patio that is very relaxing. The staff is super nice and will work to accommodate your needs. I am very happy I chose this hotel and would stay again!

Yelp
This is a no frills hotel! No elevators, no ice machine, no blow dryer, no maid service & no bathtub. It was cheap to stay and can't beat the location. 1 block from the beach, walking distance to bars, restaurants & shopping, Japanese & Chinese restaurant in the lobby which serves amazing dishes. My room was somewhat clean, floors were dusty, bed sheets were fresh, cold A/C, working hot water in the shower, decent size for 2 people. The one thing that annoyed me is paper thin walls. I could hear people talking & laughing & doors banging all hours in the evening but thank god I was out most nights. The plus side is their free wifi. I was on the second floor and had great reception. For less than 80 bucks a night, I guess it's decent if you plan your PR visit mostly outdoors.

Yelp
The room smelled like bleach way too much. The bathroom only had two towels, had to ask for wash towels and hand towels. Two pillows. It also had a towel on the floor. They said that's what they do. Odd we thought. The rack where you would put your toiletries was rusty. The floor had paint on it. No elevator. And around 1a.m. when we were going to bed, the sheets had a blood stain. That was the last straw. I told the staff and they were apologetic but come on. It was one night, these hotels are not cheap by cost but it was cheaply maintained. It could actually be a nice hotel if they paid attention to detail. The walls were bare, have some pride and add a touch of the island to make visitors return. Use nicer sheets, at least clean, and towels. The tv was like 13". You have a gem in your hands make it shine. It has potential to be a nice hotel. The balcony was nice place to chill. It was unfortunate and unpleasant night though because of the aforementioned.

Yelp
At one point, this was a hostel...but they redid it as a "boutique hotel". It still has that hostel feel to it, but I don't mind it so much. It's at the right price for my budget and is in a great location: Condado! It is walking distance to the beach. You'll end up right in front of the Marriott's to be exact. It is located on the corner of Condado & Magdalena. On the next block is Walgreens, which I think is open 24hours or at best til Midnight. The neighborhood you'll be staying in is practically up all night. You're surrounded by the hotels with casinos and the restaurants are open late (11pm or Midnight), which I loved. The neighborhood is very safe. There are police officers all over the place and security inside of the local Walgreens. You'll feel safe walking down the street on your own. Everyone in the neighborhood walking off of Ashford are tourists. The hotel itself is very clean, they have hardwood floors throughout. As another person mentioned, no elevators and if your room number is in the 20's you're most likely on the top floor and would have to climb 4 flights (of 4 or 5 steps a landing and another 4 or 5 steps to the next floor). Luckily I traveled light, with one carry-on suitcase no more than 22" and weighed approximately 23lbs. I carried my own suitcase up the stairs and down the stairs in heels upon checkout. I do not workout for the life of me, I have asthma, and we lived on the top floor for a whole week...so the luxury of an elevator is too petty of a reason to not stay here. If you rent a car, park on the street. The hotel will give you an option to park your car in an empty lot for 24hour periods (i.e. 8pm Sat to 8pm Sun) at $15. Not necessary for you to take it. You'll find ample parking on the street, we parked on Calle Santiago Iglesias. It's the least busiest street around the hotel. For the price you pay, you get a comfortable double bed, a clean room, clean towels, a spacious room, free continental breakfast, free wi-fi (usually available in the common area on the 2nd floor or in rooms nearest), a prime location, room service or easy access to the restaurant on the first floor. Unfortunately, there are no microwaves, refrigerators and a kitchenette in this hotel, but for $40 more a night you can get a microwave and refrigerator at another hotel if that's what you need...because you're traveling with kids and need to warm up their bottle or something like that. I just feel that if you're dumb enough to book a hotel and not read the amenities listed on each and every booking site in the world, then come to this hotel and trash talk it minus the research, then that's unfair for the business. That bad rating should be on you, not the business. Overall, if your school of thought when hotel shopping is, for X amount of money I should be getting, this, this and this then you'll be sorely mistaken.

Yelp
Sooo... If you go in with the right expectations, this hotel is not so bad. Here is what you should expect: -Casa Condado is a hostel NOT a hotel. -There is air conditioning in the room only; everything else is open. -The bathrooms are clean but very cheaply done. -There are no elevators -Free WiFi! :) -You're in Puerto Rico.... Let's be real, not everyone speaks English! Okay that's all out of the way! This is an interesting hostel concept in the heart of Condado, so it makes for really easy walking into town to explore shopping, food, and CLUBS. If walking is not your thing, the front desk can always call you a cab. I wouldn't recommend it though because most of the cabs are run by a tour company that fixes their prices (i.e. cab rides that are even one or two miles end up being like $15). The room, itself, was clean but small - like the door practically hit the bed on the way in small! If you're needing to have a place to put your stuff, sleep, and shower, then you're cool... If you're looking for a place to relax and hang out, then you may want to look up the road at the Hilton or Sheraton. The hostel is kind of old school because they give you key cards that have punched holes in it rather than electronic key cards. Luckily there was an air conditioning unit because my hubby and I cranked it up because it was so hot and humid outside! The bed was comfy and there was a flat screen available in the room. They had plenty of English channels (E!, Nickelodeon, Fox, etc.) as well as the local Spanish-speakers' channels. All in all the experience is not too bad. As long as you KNOW you're staying at a hostel and you're okay with that... You'll be fine! Pros: -Cheap -Clean -Just a short walk from town/beach -A/C -Free WiFi -Free Breakfast in the AM Cons: -Loud in the mornings if you're near the breakfast buffet -No elevator -Linens are not that great Tips: -Book online (Hotels.com or Trip Advisor) for discounts -DO NOT LOSE YOUR ROOM KEY... They will charge you! -Check out the local eateries for bomb Puerto Rican Food

Yelp
They say that their hotel is considered a boutique hotel, it should be considered a simple hotel. Location is perfect. 2 blocks from the beach and from all the expensive hotels in the condado area. Check in was great, just make sure to tell them if you have a rental car. The spaces on property are very limited (I think 5-6 spots) and it's also $15 per night for a spot. The room, like I said prior, is SIMPLE. That's the best and only way to describe it. Queen bed, TV, a few hangers, nightstands, a loud AC unit, and a bathroom. Don't book this expecting the 4 seasons because you will be highly disappointed.

Yelp
My sister and i decided to stay here because we had to travel last minute to Puerto Rico after a family member passed away and we needed an inexpensive place to stay for that week. She always opts to stay in the Condado Area when we come back home because it is a very centric location. Pros : Centric location: Nearby you have the beach, pharmacies, souvenir shops, nightlife, casinos, restaurants, parks, hospitals...all in walking distance. If you want Asian cuisine VERY nearby, there's the Good Four Seasons Restaurant, on their ground floor ( you will spot it right away!). In the second floor, they have a nice terrace with simple but elegant dark wicker patio furniture (but sometimes guests stay up hanging out here and can get noisy) In the second floor, they offer complimentary breakfast until 10am (if i remember correctly) which includes pineapple & orange juice, cereal, milk, coffee, Toast with your choice of Jam or Butter, Quesitos (a puertorican pastry), banana or blueberry muffins...(and i believe that's all folks! ) The staff was friendly and even helped us with our suitcases (since there is no elevator). We were going to be staying there with my 1 year old nephew and To our surprise they had a mini refrigerator with freezer compartment brought to our room (at no extra charge!) prior to our arrival. Cons : NO elevator ( but this boutique hotel is only 3 floors and they help you with your luggage). NO parking: You have to either park in the street or pay for private parking at Magdalena lot nearby. It took us like 10-15 min to get a parking spot in the street nearby because we didn't want to end up paying ~$15 per night for the private parking lot. UNSTABLE WIFI They offered the Wifi password but we had trouble with the wifi most of the time. There are no ironing boards or irons, no drawers, and they barely have a closet, it is a doorless open 'closet' area next to the door (but they do have a safe in that 'closet' area). If you want more luxuries, then this place isn't for you and you might want to invest a little more per night for a nicer place to stay. Overall, The hotel and room itself is simple, minimalist and clean. You get a TV, A/C in the bedroom, clean room, bathroom, comfy bed, continental breakfast, housekeeping, friendly service and (sometime) wifi. In our case, the pros out weighed the cons because we made very last minute booking and had to make the best of a bad situation. Would i ever stay here again? Probably not. I've had friends throughout the years that have stayed in different places in Condado, and there are other small hotels at a similar price but without the inconveniences !

Yelp
Where to start. Casa Condado is in a great location 3 blocks from the beach, 2 blocks from Walgreen's, and less than 10 minutes from the airport. The amenities just weren't up to my standards and I don't ask for much. In this day in age I expect to have two pillows not 1. I expect to have a microwave and a refrigerator. I guess I'm just a silly American. On the serious side I wouldn't stay at this hotel again too many inconviences that can't make all the wrongs right. Adios

Yelp
## Good * Relatively affordable (I paid less than $100 / night) * Clean * Free WiFi (see below) * Friendly staff ## Bad * NO PARKING, and the parking lot they recommended (the only one nearby) was entirely full. Ended up dropping off luggage, then parking at a hospital several blocks away for about $1.50 / hr, then leaving as early as possible in the morning. * No elevator. I was excited about being on the top floor until I had to carry our luggage up a few flights of stairs. * WiFI was erratic and unreliable to the point of being unusable. * Shower floor and bathroom furnishings in poor repair. ## Conclusion On the next trip, I will probably look for a place somewhere a little farther out; the other places we stayed on this trip did not have these kinds of problems and were at a similar price.

Yelp
This place was not very good. We arrived right at check in because the wedding we were going to started at 5pm. I immediately went to hop in the shower. At that point I noticed used soap in the window.... okay they just didn't see it. Totally understandable. I used some toilet paper to clean it up and got in. The water was warm, which was a plus, but there was no spot to put the toilet paper (except on the toilet, which didn't have a cover). At this point I was pretty disenchanted with the place but just one night. Not a big deal. Then as I got out of the shower I noticed strands of hair on the wall near where I'm supposed to hang my towel. This just disgusts me, but my partner says, just one night, leave it be. I went to sit on the bed and notice there is no fitted sheet, only two flat sheets. Clearly someone messed up here, but whatever. Just didn't want to deal with it because we had to go. I was grateful there was a safe in the room (at this point I was celebrating the little wins). The next day we go down to breakfast, which is only included in some people's hotel price, but was thankfully included in ours. This was about the most enjoyable experience for me. It was filling, with coffee and juice, huevos rancheros, or just plain eggs. Upon returning to the room for final inspection I opened the refrigerator (which I hadn't done yet this trip), there was bologna, cheese, and cream in there. I can only imagine from the previous guests (I hope). Needless to say I wouldn't go back. While the staff was pretty friendly, the lack of cleanliness was entirely unacceptable.

Yelp
My sister and I stayed here for one night. We got it for a decent price and figured why not, we knew it wouldn't be a luxury experience but were willing to forego that because of the great price. Pros: 5 minute walk from the beach and Ashford avenue (shopping, restaurants, nightlife). The front desk staff was also friendly. Cons: No elevator (which we were aware of prior to booking due to reviews) and the room felt very wet/moist. Yes, there is an AC and fan but I couldn't figure out the appropriate settings for the room to feel less humid. Small bathroom, few amenities. If you're looking for something glamorous or staying for a long time I would recommend elsewhere.

Yelp
Stayed for two nights in the so called "boutique hotel" Room: I think "snug" is a proper description. A queen bed in the middle of the room with some space on either side to walk. Room has a safe, small LCD TV, and an air conditioner. In our case, the A/C does not work very well. It was loud and will only turn on for 5 min before turning off for 10 min. And the cycle continues. Woke up several time a night drenched in sweats. Service: it s a hit or miss. One of the receptionist we met during check in was nice and very informative. The other person we met was rude and condescending. Obviously he didn't care about his job. Ammenities: very bare bone. No iron board, blow dryer, or laundry service. No elevator. Breakfast was continental, I.e. SUGAR AND CARBS. Have free ice water on the second floor. WiFi works well on the third floor. Location: located a block away from condado beach. Walgreen and CVS eight around the corner. Bus stop to old San Juan located 2 blocks away.

Yelp
This is a boutique hotel in the heart of the city. It is very basic but super cute. It's in the heart of Condado. Walking distance to bars, restaurants and nightclubs. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Yelp
For starters I'd give it 0 stars if I could , over priced for a room with barley any towels a small room and the tv didn't even work . There wasn't any WiFi as well . No elevators so you have to walk up flights of stairs with your luggage. No ice machine as well . We checked out at 12 but went back to the room to get our stuff together and the clerk came banging on the door to get out or she will charge us another night . Such a horrible experience don't waste your money 125 for a room that was worse than a motels and the customer service was terrible ! So disrespectful

Where do I even begin. Let's start with the fact that there is no elevators so the trip began with lugging luggage up 4 flights of slick stairs. Upon entering the room it looked nothing like the pictures advertised. No closet, blow dryer, drawers etc. The black mold in the shower was impressive, however I was less impressed with the short black mystery hair left behind in the bed on the "clean sheets". The pillows were incredibly thin and overall the bed felt more like a punishment tool. On the second day there the woman at the front desk proceeded to corner us about our use of towels saying that they only allow 1 towel per person per day. We attempted to explain that we had been given extra towels in which she refused to listen and continued to say "You cannot have 10 towels". We maybe at most had 4 towels in the room at this time and that's being very liberal with the number. Not impressed by that or the copious amounts of cob webs on the ceiling/fan, the entire 2 working outlets in the whole room, broken tv, lack of bottled water, the poor housekeeping and the loud sounds of others and slamming doors throughout the night. Not to mention when we got home we were both covered in some strange bug bites. Highly recommend staying at the Condado Palm across the street. Doubt they have a towel rule & not to mention they have a Nestle Toll House.

Yelp
Nice place to stay but i had a bad experience I was there last week and the power was down in all condado do to weather and the hotel didn't have a plant and we didn't have light or hot water for 2 days how come a hotel don't have a plant if such things happened. Also the manager of the hotel was unprofessional when she was going to tell something to another guest just the way she told the guest that she had to talk to her wasn't the right way she could have call her aside and talk to her other than that the accommodations are nice and have nice restaurants around and places to visit

Yelp
This hotel has no elevator and it's only good Bc of its location. The beach near by, It's not the best, so only consider it if you are looking for the nightlife atmosphere. Rooms are small, not as tidy as a chain hotel and the front desk staff was not very helpful. Anytime we asked him a question he seemed to be bothered and was even eating while working.

Yelp
My week long trip to Puerto Rico came to an abrupt stop when we decided to stay at Casa Condado the last two nights there. The rooms are very small and do not provide some of the basic amenities you'd expect such as: no closet, limited electric outlets, no iron, even something as simple as soap dish in the shower was non-existent. On top of all these the parking situation is the worst I've ever experienced during my travels. For a hotel with upwards of 20 rooms they only have about six parking spaces. There is a separate fee for parking which I thought would be included as it is everywhere else. I would only suggest staying at this hotel if you don't have any other choice other than on the street.

Yelp
THis hotel is the bare minimums. They do serve a breakfast in the morning but it is coffee and pastries (for the price of the hotel this is fine). They do charge for parking 15.00 a night (there is PLENTY of street parking) The room itself is clean and usable. I would def stay here again for the price and no frills and VERY VERY clean. The WIFI SUCKS!!!

Yelp
Best location, morning snacks, small TV w basic cable, small fridge, towels, A/C, wifi, and clean rooms/outdoor areas. Staff is also friendly at the front- good attention, small family business feel. Calm and quiet environment. I wish room had more furniture/counters or closet for storage. No pool. No gym. I would say a great deal for what you get! Location can not be beat-beach one block away. La placita was walking distance and many shops/restaurants as well. I would stay again here as I feel I would be supporting a great small company versus a big hotel chain.

Yelp
Lost power on and off for 2 nights. Hotel has no generator for back up power. The guy at the front desk needs costumer service skills, not very polite or accommodating. There was a lady who I think is the manger, she was very nice and helpful. Room was clean and good location. Don't stay on floor where patio is. There were guest there until 2:30am and they were very loud and you could hear them clearly I don't understand why staff did not ask them to be respectful to other guest. All and all I guess you get what you paid for.

Yelp
no elevator, 4 floors- get ready to climb stairs in 90+ temps, small rooms which are sparsely decorated. unlocked the room to find the AC not running so the room was a sauna. turned it on and it sounded like a truck idling in the room all night. no desk. unable to access "free wifi". I checked in at 3am after taking a red eye on Jetblue from Florida- the overnight desk guy was nice and friendly, although I screwed up the booking thinking I was checking in that day... he insisted they had to charge me a $44 "early check in fee". yeah right!. the girl at the desk in the morning was uptight, unfriendly, poor English skills, and generally unhelpful. no parking available at this small hotel, and there is very little in the area. stay at the Quality Inn El Portal, which is half a block away, the same price and has complimentary parking.

Yelp
I'm beside myself with this place, I made reservation a month in advance I had a request which I did in writing. They never got back to me, so I call spoke to someone by the name of Cristalize she assured me that my request which was to be able to check in a little earlier would be no issue her exact words were by 1:30 to 2 a room will be available, she even stated that a note would be place on my reservation so I wouldn't have issues. Well guess what I did have an issue the Gerente as she said she was Joelie I believe her name was told me that was not possible. I explained my conversation and she was not accommodating at all. We roam the island for 5 hours. I wanted to cancel however the fee was pretty high so we stayed the room as others mention is tiny , no closet,no phone, no iron and I guess I could over see all of this if the service when I arrived by the Gerente was a little bit more cordial. I ask who is over her I was told a guy from Chili and they had no way of contActing him. I'm hoping that he does read these review because customer service is very important especial for someone that carries the title of Gerente. Unfortunately I still have another 3 days to stay here...
