Traveled solo and have always wanted to try Casa Cupola. I was not disappointed and was very impressed with the staff, my room and the many amenities provided. Had a large lanai/balcony to relax on and enjoy the views. Bar/restaurant service was outstanding as were the pool parties/Sunday brunch. Overall, a very relaxing experience. Thank you Jose and Simon for being the very best you can be. Already booked my next stay…..

We stayed here in May after having to cancel our trip last October - I wasn't sure what to expect ahead of going, but was so happy with our choice. It's kind of a "choose your own adventure" property. There is the main pool, where they have a bar and the weekend pool party (week days are much more subdued) but also two other small pools, for a true resort/relaxing vibe. The restaurant was cute and breakfast was good. The room was well maintained and beds were comfortable. The only thing that I didn't love was the walk up the hill from town... It's a quick/cheap uber ride, but we mainly walked as it's not that far - just uphill. Overall, great experience!

I really enjoyed my first stay at Casa Cupula. The room was great and included a lovely terrace. I met some nice people at the pool parties. I also did the spa package and Luis was wonderful! Most importantly, I really liked the people who worked there. We had some good conversations and they were very attentive as well . . . gracias to Felix, Miguel, Saul & Simon for helping to make it such a warm and inviting place to be!

First time visiting Puerto Vallarta, and this hotel in the Zona Romántica was perfect! Small pool and infinity pool to choose from. They also have a pool club that is a lot of fun on the weekends. Service was amazing! Saul and Felix were very helpful showing us around and arranging day trips for us and letting us know about food and distances to each place. The concierge was amazing, super friendly and accommodating with our luggage, ride we needed and anything really. The food from the bistro was delicious! The pool club is tons of fun! The staff there are attentive and make sure your have a good time. Single, a couple, or with friends this is a great place to stay for LGBTQ community.

Just got back from a mini spring break vacation 4/4-4/8/24 with husband and friends. It's our third time back and it always feel like home. We stayed in rooms 242-243 next to the main pool. Great view, semi private balcony, rooms where located right next to the pool where all the action party was happening! PERFECT!!! |Shout out to Felix at the front desk, Angel our driver and Lalo our pool waiter. You gents were awesome!

The pool club is so much fun. We stayed at the hotel once and enjoyed it but the walk up the hill and guest policy have found us staying elsewhere since. We come back at least once every year for a weekend pool party though, it really is worth the trek up the hill. Very body positive and sexy. Overall, I would recommend at least one stay there. They went way out of their way to make it special.

Stayed for one night. We usually stay at less luxurious places. Splurged a little and it was well worth it. Several pools, gym, steam room. Met other couples. Restaurant by pool is convenient and a nice atmosphere if a bit overpriced. Everyone was very attentive but no one was pushy. Room was very nice and big and well designed and clean. Hot water worked great. Would stay again and makes me want to try other of life’s small luxuries.

This review won’t matter as I’m not their target demographic, but I might feel better. Hotel is totally geared toward pool party events, not hotel guests, but I knew that having stayed there before. I booked a room with covered balcony overlooking the pool many months ago. When I arrived, and several hours after checking in and paying in full, I was asked if it was ok to give up my balcony so they could set up lockers for the pool events. Like saying no was even an option, and trying to be a good sport because I understand they make a lot of revenue this weekend, I said sure. Not an issue, I was planning to attend the Friday pool party anyway. But, despite their communication to hotel guests that there would be limited free seating, there was literally NO place to sit at the pool unless I paid an additional $180 USD as every seat was convered to VIP. So despite giving up the use of the balcony that was part of my room rate, and despite the massive revenue the hotel was generating in part supported by taking over my balcony, I was f’d. Had I known in advance that covered seating for hotel guests was nonexistent – which is different from limited – I would not have been so nice about the balcony. That’s my fault – I should have been a prick. Even if the hotel had contacted me in advance about their predicament, we could have easily worked something out. In short, horrible horrible stay, and I will never be back, which is a shame because as others have noted the staff is wonderful.
