I had an amazing stay at Casa da Companhia! This luxury hotel right in centre of Porto has a decor inspired by the Douro and gives the place a really elegant atmosphere. The room was big, super comfortable, and had a small balcony with a great view of the Sé Catedral. The outdoor pool and patio are perfect for relaxing after walking around the city. Breakfast was excellent, with both buffet and à la carte options with great variety and quality. Also tried the half-board menu with delicious Portuguese dishes. An highlight to staff that were very friendly and caring, always making sure we had everything we needed. The spa is fantastic, with L’Occitane products, an indoor pool, sauna and steam bath. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Casa da Companhia for two nights and absolutely loved the experience. The hotel is a true luxury retreat in the centre of the city, with elegant décor inspired by the Douro region. Our room was spacious, extremely comfortable, and featured a charming balcony with a view of Porto’s cathedral.||Breakfast was excellent, offering both buffet and à la carte options with great quality and variety. We also had the chance to enjoy the L’Occitane Spa, which impressed us with its calm atmosphere and tailored treatments. The outdoor pool and patio were beautiful — ideal for relaxing after exploring the city.||The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay, making the experience even more memorable. We’ll definitely return!

We had a great stay at Casa da Companhia in Porto. The hotel is beautiful with a perfect mix of old and new. The front has that historic charm while the back, where our room was, feels modern and upscale. Our room had a nice view of the city and the church, and out of the five hotels we stayed at in Portugal, this one was by far the nicest. The room was super modern with great lighting and an awesome shower. Breakfast was probably the best we had during our trip, and the service was truly five star. The only downside is that cars can’t pull right up, so we had to be dropped off one street over and walk up a steep incline, but the location makes up for it. You’re right in the middle of everything and it’s easy to walk anywhere. We also had dinner here on our last night and it was fantastic. The sangria was incredible, the octopus rice was spectacular and the food was excellent. Highly recommend this place and we’d definitely stay here again next time we’re in Porto.

We stayed here for a perfect 4 nights. We had a view of the cathedral with a sitting terrace. Room and bathroom were well designed with plenty of storage. Best breakfast that we had the entire vacation! We sat outside by the pool and found it to be very a quiet place to relax at the end of each day. We initially were very concerned about getting Ubers since hotel is on a pedestrian street, but it was literally only a 3 minute walk down a side street to get to the Main Street. Great email communication, prior to arriving, as we booked a taxi thru hotel upon arrival to airport. Perfect location for walking to waterfront, restaurants, and shopping. Book here as I’m glad I listened to my Portugal only travel planner!

This hotel is all around amazing. I rarely leave a hotel review, but I was so impressed by the location, amenities, and the staff here. This hotel truly deserves 5 stars. It is situated on a lively little street connected to all of the best wine bars and shops but once you walk inside, it is an oasis of calm. It is quite luxury with sophistication. The staff is so incredibly kind and helpful with every request...huge compliments to Beatriz who handled my check in and check out. She takes a career in hospitality to another level. Definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place in Porto. There is a small outdoor and indoor pool (as well as full sauna and steam room) that ever gets too crowded also!

We have stayed at IHG properties all around the world and this is by far the best total experience we have ever had. The hotel and its rooms (we stayed in 740 and 739) are beautiful. Every interaction with staff was engaging thoughtful. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. At breakfast each morning staff was friendly and very hospitable. The food was also all very good. The location is great for walking to anything in the city, with the entrance being on a pedestrian only street (after like 9AM).

We were so impressed with this central Porto hotel. The concierges were so helpful and kind (both Beatriz and Rita) and really went out of their way to offer us great suggestions from restaurants and experiences in Porto. Also, our room was spacious and modern. The entire staff was wonderful and it shows that they have great employees plus are managed very well. Great hotel and staff if you want to be in the middle of Porto and take in all the sights and sounds.

excellent hotel - wonderful location right in the centre of the city. the room we had was very quiet.|Indoor and outdoor pools are excellent and there is a small gym.|All staff were really friendly and the room was really well equipped. The only improvement could be stronger lighting in the room - our room had lots of side lights and lamps which were nice and atmospheric but we would have liked the option of some stronger lighting. That really is a small point though as generally the hotel is excellent and I definitely recommend it.
