This hotel is located in the old downtown of Viseu, a lovely city in the centre of Portugal. The Building is old, but extraordinarialy well preserved. The bedrooms have different decoration and the bathrooms are spacious and confortable with a very good ducha. Everything is clean and the bed is confortable. The breakfast is delicious. I loved the regional cheese, the homemade jelly, the almond tart and all wonderful cakes they served every morning. The service is informal, but attent and very professional - make you feel at home. We just loved everything! Go and visit this cute city and stay in Casa da Se.

This is a beautiful old house and is run in the most professional way. ||From the moment we arrived by car everything was organised down to the heady question of where to park the car in this old and complicated town. ||Our room was full of character and space. The bathroom was interesting and made out of a sliver of space cunningly made more spacious with mirrors. I have to say it’s a bit spooky if you visit the bathroom at night! ||Breakfast is an amazingly efficient operation in a tiny space with all the tasty options. ||We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this wonderfully central and historic house.

This is a nice small hotel situated in the heart of Viseu, a walking distance to all the signts and to many restaurants. There is short term drop-off parking nearby and longer-term parking about a 10-15 minute walk away. Our room was lovely with a comfortable bed and a small balcony that looks out over the city. We were concerned it might be noisy at night but, not to worry, everything pretty much closes down around 10 p.m. so it was very quiet to sleep.||||I would not hesitate staying here again another time.||||Breakfast is a large buffet and there was plenty to eat.

Our family visited Viseu in Portugal for the #viseufolk festival. We stayed at the Casa Da Se hotel which is located in the very center of the Viseu old town. It is a cosy small hotel with a lot of history. Room was great with nice bed and well maintained services. Breakfast was very good with homemade Portugese cakes.||Parking seemed at first to be an issue, since it is in middle of old town with very narrow streets. But we located the central parking garage after asking the locals. It is located just 500 meters from the hotel under a round-about "Rotunda" in front of a church.||Overall we are very happy with our stay at Casa de Se and would recommend this hotel and a great restaurant just around the corner from the hotel Restaurant Mesa da Se".

Pulled up to this nice little luxury hotel right in the heart of old Viseu. You can unload your car, but you cannot park at the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. Staff will help you with your bags and there is a lift. NIce to have a whirlpool tub after long drive. My only real complaint was there was a slight nasty smell in the room at times like someone recently may have eaten something and left the remains in the trash and it didn't have a chance to air out, but most of the time you didn't smell it.

We were attending a family meeting in Viseu and decided to book a hotel. ||We couldnt have gone to a better place. Staff professional, speaks multiple languages, very polite and helpful. We were shown to our room, got a few information about the history of the place which is very considerate and we highly appreciated it.||Room 303 has a little balcony with a fantastic city view, it was quiet and spotlessly clean. ||Towels super fluffy and huge, I wanted to buy one but we had way too much luggage.||Breakfast was plentiful and tasty.||Special shout out to the 2 Portuguese receptionist ladies, they were super helpful with each and every one of the guests, not just with us.||All in all, we will definitely come back, highly recommended.

Location AAA. Friendly, cultured staff. Nice fresh fruit on the bteakfast buffet but not enough healthy options for the rest, which is disappointing. In a country that grows such wonderful produce surely a sliced tomato can be made available as an alternative to cheese, cured meat and sugary jams! Nice little wine bar downstairs and beautiful furnishings throughout. A very comfortable stay.

We live in central Portugal and visit Viseu occasionally - we stay at the Casa da Se. It's on a square right near the Sé (duh!) and an excellent museum. The staff are very friendly, our room was small but comfortable. The hotel is filled with antiques and each room is decorated with care. I recommend it.
