How much of an influence had Adriana Lima for this town, even for the Country? Is she well known in her Hometown

The pousada is in a safe area of Salvador, very clean and very friendly staff. The breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed our stay a lot. Our room had a little bit o sea view and was spacious. ||When we arrived we asked many questions and the host took time and explained everything. We would would definetly return to this place and can recommend it.

We stayed for 3 nights in this pousada while we visited Salvador and enjoyed every moment. The location is great, near lots of museums, easy to get around the city and close to the beautiful town of Pelourinho. The pousada itself feels like staying in a very stylish house, rather than a hotel. The room we had was small but clean and well decorated. The 4 course breakfasts are a feast and the staff are always on hand for tips and advice. The only downside is the noise. We were in a room above the kitchen and dining area (most rooms lead on to this) so from about 7am we were woken everyday to the sounds food being prepared and guests coming down to breakfast - fine if you're an early riser but not great if you want a lie in! All in all we had a fantastic stay and the value for money is unbeatable.

This was the best pousada we stayed in throughout brazil and the price was amazing. This family owned pousada goes the whole 9 yards to make sure your stay is comfortable and safe. It is located right between the pelo and the barra so you can walk to both and don't have to put up with the craziness that goes on at night in these areas. Breakfasts was stunning! A different gourmet meal every morning and the coffee was superb! The family even arranged for my husband to attend a soccer match with them which put him over the moon. Truly an elegant place in the heart of salvador.

I can not rave about this place enough. Augusta was so helpful during our stay. I reached out to her in advance of our trip and she helped arrange a car from the airport and also a guide for a city tour while we were in Salvador. The Pousada is just beautiful with all white walls and very simple design aesthetic. The best part of our stay was probably the breakfast. I could not believe we were served 4 courses...for breakfast! I was very sad that we had to leave so early on our last day and would miss out on breakfast, but they arranged a fruit and oatmeal platter and delivered it to our room the night before. This Pousada is also located very close and in walking distance to many restaurants.

Casa da Vitória is a charming small hotel with one of the most interesting breakfasts I've had. ||||It's well located and it's possible to walk around a very nice neighborhood in Salvador. ||||The the decoration is typical and very well suited. The room is confortable and calm.||||Prices are cheaper because it does not have a pool or other services but it still has an outdoor area to relax. Its a good choice if you won't stay very long in Salvador.

Daily breakfast was a highlight-- amazing food, different each day, personally served by the house maids. You can tell they took time to present a beautiful and delicious meal. ||||Front desk/service was great and very helpful. Room was kind of small but did the job. The house is big and beautiful so you feel like you have alot more space. ||||One annoying thing- they don't give out keys for entrance into the building. So when we would come back late at night, we'd have to keep ringing the doorbell until someone came.

The hotel is in a very quiet street of a busy and fashionable neighborhood. It is a house with large and charmingly decorated rooms, so silent that it is hard to wake up. Breakfast is particularly appetizing, many tidbits of delicious local recipes and fruits.

Yelp
I stayed here while in Salvador for a conference. I didn't want to stay in the main hotel. This casa had very nice reviews online so I decided to give it a shot. And you can't beat the prices. Staff were easily accessible via email. They seemed very nice even via our conversation. On arrival, I believe Pedro was at front desk. I visited in Sept (I guess low season) so not many people staying there presently. Walking in, you would never guess how spacious the inside it. First floor is main office. Second flr is kitchen area, dining area, a balcony. 3rd floor has rooms there. My stay was definitely clean and quiet. The food staff made the BEST breakfast (your stay includes breakfast). Overall, I sat down and great deliciousness just kept coming at me. Honestly, it felt like a 8 course breakfast. I had to tell them to STOP (lol). And each day was a different item. You never know what you will get but everything was fresh and tasty. You will be ask about meal limitations on arrival..I had NONE, I eat everything! My room was really nice. Private bathroom. Wifi included. No TV in room. Air conditioner present. The other staff member is Augusta. Super friendly and warm. On my arrival, I had no local currency and she even offered to loan me money for my first day. But I opt to be navigated to local ATM for cash withdrawal. The local area is safe. Easy walk to the beach area (10min walk downhill). You can also catch a taxi or bus I guess but the walk is really straight forward. All this to say, this place gets my vote!
