Our stay at Casa de Alba Boutique Hotel this past July was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived (two adults and two teenage boys), we were taken by the charm of the place — a beautifully restored colonial home tucked right in the heart of Cartagena’s walled city. You literally step outside and you're surrounded by history, color, music, and life. The location couldn’t be more perfect.
The hotel itself is stunning. The pool in the central courtyard was the perfect way to cool off after a day of exploring, and the rooftop terrace was wonderful. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained.
One of the highlights of our mornings was breakfast — fresh, local, and absolutely delicious. Every day we were served a mix of tropical fruits, fresh juices, warm breads, and hot dishes made to order. It wasn’t just tasty — it was clearly made with care.
But what really made our stay unforgettable was the staff. Laura, Christian, Antonio, and Carlos went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely kind — offering great recommendations, arranging transport and reservations, and checking in to make sure everything was just right. You can tell they truly care about the guests and take pride in what they do.
We can't wait to come back!
