Casa de Avila Hotel

This is a lovely place to stay in Arequipa. The staff are welcoming and helpful, the rooms are large and comfortable and there is a pretty, secluded garden to have breakfast in when weather allows. It is a serene oasis in the middle of the city. I would recommend this competitively priced accommodation.

We had a great stay here. The rooms and beds are very comfortable. The rooms all face a central garden with trees, flowers, seating, etc. It's a lovely and tranquil space. The bathroom had fantastic hot water and great water pressure. Breakfast includes typical Continental fare, eggs to order and another hot item every day with coffee, tea, fruit & fresh juices. We would definitely stay here again.

Loved our stay at Casa de Avila. We stayed for 5 nights! The garden where we had breakfast and would sit often felt like an oasis after the busyness from Arequipa. Everyone at the hotel was so friendly. Great atmosphere. Great breakfast and the walk to the main square was very enjoyable!

We stayed at this hotel during our trip around Peru last month. We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel has a nice large garden area in which we were able to rest or eat our buffet breakfast. The hotel is located near busy roads but it is quiet. Once I even fell asleep in the garden! From the hotel we walked to the center, to the monastery and also to the restaurants in the opposite direction. We would stay here again.

I had a lovely stay at Casa de Avila and I will be excited to stay here again the next time I visit Arequipa. All staff I interacted with (reception, kitchen, cleaning, everyone) were incredibly kind and accommodating, and were even patient with me as I practiced my Spanish! I was working remotely for the week and the wifi at Casa de Avila was able to handle it. The courtyard area is beautiful; Between the breakfast, working, and relaxing, I spent a lot of time in the courtyard. I checked out of Casa de Avila feeling refreshed and ready to continue my trip through Peru. Thanks for a great stay!

Casa de Avila is a corner of paradise in Arequipa. The first time I entered it was for a cooking experience at their terrace, but when I saw the garden and the rooms around it I decided to cancel my reservation elsewhere and spend a couple of nights here. The room was very cosy, clean and new, the bed comfortable and spacious. The shower warm! The garden is perfect for a chill afternoon reading or for having breakfast in the sun. The buffet breakfast is the best I had in all my trip to Peru. Natalia and all the staff are extremely kind, welcoming and ready to help. Super recommended!

Location your not to far from the centre and your in a quiet area so you don't have to hear the cars beeeping. The room the bed is comfy and shower is hot, plenty of hot water. It's a nice colonial building has a old rustic feel to it and has a nice court yard. The staff were very helpful i speak english and they accommodated my needs. Highly rated this place. The premises were quiet also.

Great stay in Arequipa, few blocks from the main square so we could have quick access to any place in the city by just walking. The place is super clean and it's on a quiet street so we had a nice resting time. Staff was extremely friendly, very keen to help us all the time and happy to book tours for us.||Cons: They do not offer dinner options, restaurant is only open for breakfast.
