Argentina Wine Country Hotels Worth Planning a Trip Around

"This homey, welcoming six-room boutique hotel added four new garden rooms with eco elements in 2022: each standalone room is solar-powered and operates on a system that recycles gray and black water through an eco-digester, and the metal-cube garden rooms sit on the edge of the hotel’s lush garden and pool area offering modern décor and vine and Andes views. Garden rooms from $250 double occupancy, including breakfast." - Karen Catchpole

Amazing, friendly service from a lovely family and team. Guillermo on the front desk, and serving, was the most friendly and helpful person we have met in a hotel. The family who owned the hotel were equally warm, friendly and so helpful when we had to check out very early, even arranging a take away breakfast and coffee. The dogs are beautiful, the birds, the vineyard and the grounds are all jaw droppingly stunning. The breakfast is also lovely. I highly recommend this hotel.

We will add our voices and names to the chorus that sings "you cannot go wrong staying here." It is wonderful. You leave the highway and drive down a rough road past fruit trees and arrive at a wonderful oasis. The rooms are wonderful, the grounds and the pool are delightful, the food and wine are so very, very good, and on top of that, the people are the best part of this place. Shirley makes you feel like family. Guillermo took such good care of us - he was so much fun to talk to - but everybody else was also warm and friendly. Guillermo introduced us to Bonarda ("Buscapleitos"), a very drinkable red wine that is a bit lighter than Malbec and is great at the height of summer. We hated to leave. We hope to return. If you go to Mendoza and do not stay here for at least two days you have missed out on a great experience. Incredible views of the Andes.. dinners to live for and incredible people.. not ever to be missed.. we will be back.. oh yes the wine! Dinners were wonderful...the grounds excellent.

I travelled with my family of four for four nights, we had two different types of rooms and enjoyed them immensely. It's a very special, peaceful guesthouse with fantastic staff. Guillermo made our stay very special and the owner Shirley was very friendly and welcoming. Absolutely reccomend staying at this place as a base to then explore the wine country of Mendoza. The food in the evenings was absolutely delicious also. Thanks team Azul!

Service here is 5 stars! We did a lunch by the pool of fresh tomoatoes from the garden and meat/cheese. We booked 2 of the cabinas, which had great views (seemed new, plenty of space and privacy). The owners really strive to ensure you have a 5 star experience. They have mountain bikes to ride around, and awesome views. We hope to be back!

Before our trip, we were torn between staying at Casa de Huespedes Finca La Azul and another location. We are so happy that we chose the former. The estate itself is beautiful, comforting, and inviting in so many ways. The food is fantastic, varied, and welcome after a day filled with wine tasting.||The characteristic that makes the property most inviting, though, is the sincere and exceptional hospitality that is present throughout your stay. Sylvia and Pablo are such welcoming and engaging hosts; Guillermo took phenomenal care of us each night at dinner; and Carlos was eager to help provide insightful information. Without a doubt, it is their consistent and genuine care for their guests that makes their property truly special.

A wonderful experience. Great property, great wine, great views, great friendly dogs! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was so relaxed - we stayed for 4 nights but felt really at home almost immediately. Would strongly recommend.

Cannot recommend this place enough. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were made to feel like we were guests in someone’s home. The hotel is stunning, rooms are warm and beautifully decorated but what gives this place the edge is the outstanding service. Pablo is the ultimate host, who looks after everyone with warmth and kindness. Guillermo who looked after us every evening at dinner was superb. So friendly, efficient and generous with his time. The food was excellent, the menu changed theme every night, we ate Spanish, Middle Eastern and Argentinian food and it was all fantastic, authentic and utterly delicious. The wines flowed and were all excellent and you can feel the sense of pride they have in everything they do and produce. It’s a long way from home for us but I truly hope we are lucky enough to visit again one day.
