Argentina Wine Country Hotels Worth Planning a Trip Around

"This homey, welcoming six-room boutique hotel added four new garden rooms with eco elements in 2022: each standalone room is solar-powered and operates on a system that recycles gray and black water through an eco-digester, and the metal-cube garden rooms sit on the edge of the hotel’s lush garden and pool area offering modern décor and vine and Andes views. Garden rooms from $250 double occupancy, including breakfast." - Karen Catchpole

Absolute 10/10. The kindness and hospitality of the owners (Shirley & Pablo) and Guillermo was outstanding. This is a luxury hotel experience, but you feel like you’ve been welcomed to someone’s home - it’s truly special. We had one of the bungalows with a stunning view of the mountains, enjoyed the grounds, the pool (and the pups!) every day after exploring the wineries and a long day trip to Aconcagua. It was the absolute perfect place to come back to for rest and relaxation. The breakfast and dinners were also exceptional. Do not miss this place when in Mendoza - we can’t wait to come back and and definitely rate it as one of our top hotel experiences! Thank you to the whole Azul team for such a memorable 3 days!

It was an extraordinary experience. We wish we could have stayed longer but definitely plan to return. The rooms, view, pool, and nature were all like a dream. It’s a family-run hotel, and everyone is incredibly welcoming. Victor, our host, was warm and made us feel at home right away. They have European -inspired theme dinners every night. We had Spanish night with paella, and everything was fresh and delicious. The hotel owner personally greets and speaks to each table. Their bodega was closed during our visit, but we tried their wine, which was great. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy the beautiful view of the Andes mountains, the food, the wine, the pool, the dogs, and the hospitality.

This is an excellent place to rest and recuperate from extensive wine tasting. It looks and feels like a luxury hotels but it also feels like a home away from home. Owners Shirley and Pablo are friendly and knowledgable. The service is spotless and the garden and pool are lovely features to enjoy. Highly recommended!

Amazing, friendly service from a lovely family and team. Guillermo on the front desk, and serving, was the most friendly and helpful person we have met in a hotel. The family who owned the hotel were equally warm, friendly and so helpful when we had to check out very early, even arranging a take away breakfast and coffee. The dogs are beautiful, the birds, the vineyard and the grounds are all jaw droppingly stunning. The breakfast is also lovely. I highly recommend this hotel.

We will add our voices and names to the chorus that sings "you cannot go wrong staying here." It is wonderful. You leave the highway and drive down a rough road past fruit trees and arrive at a wonderful oasis. The rooms are wonderful, the grounds and the pool are delightful, the food and wine are so very, very good, and on top of that, the people are the best part of this place. Shirley makes you feel like family. Guillermo took such good care of us - he was so much fun to talk to - but everybody else was also warm and friendly. Guillermo introduced us to Bonarda ("Buscapleitos"), a very drinkable red wine that is a bit lighter than Malbec and is great at the height of summer. We hated to leave. We hope to return. I travelled with my family of four for four nights, we had two different types of rooms and enjoyed them immensely. It's a very special, peaceful guesthouse with fantastic staff. Guillermo made our stay very special and the owner Shirley was very friendly and welcoming. Absolutely reccomend staying at this place as a base to then explore the wine country of Mendoza. The food in the evenings was absolutely delicious also. Thanks team Azul!
