I liked the scratches in the glass window artifact, coins, etc. and my husband liked the chess board. Military and other discounts, plus you get free entrance to the Presidio with this ticket. The cashier was very friendly and helpful.

Casa de la Guerra is located in the historical center of Santa Barbara, among other buildings from the Spanish domination. It's open to the public and you can walk inside for free. I recommend to take a look if you are in the area because the place is really rich of history.

This was very interesting. My wife volunteers at a similar place in San Diego, but this place lets you touch things! Kid friendly.

Read a lot about the house and its residents, yada yada. Drove up from l.a. to check it out. I was shocked to see it lost in a sea of "white limed" buildings all banking on the house's history. Rising up behind the house, unlike most photos of it, is some kind of hotel with balconies of smoking visitors. No blue sky anywhere. Just terrible. Saw a homeless scumbum waiting for his next handout/assault victim, and so decided to escape with my wallet, if not my naive "mission project" conception of historic california.

This is a really great rustic old historical church building. We attended a wedding for some close friends and had a wonderful time in this historic building.

Open to public and situated in the heart of Old Town Santa Barbara. It was very neat to see but there where several homeless men sleeping on the grounds and in several rooms.
