Casa De La Noche Boutique Hotel

Delightful 2nd stay stay at Casa De La Noche! My first visit was with a workshop/retreat and the Casa is perfect for that type of thing -- plenty of beautiful common spaces for activities and also for just relaxing and chatting. The bedrooms are unique, charming and very comfortable. (Having a whole-establishment water filter is fantastic because you never worry about H2O!) During this second visit - by myself - I realized how wonderful the Casa is for travelers who are on their own or maybe in a couple. The relaxed atmosphere means that you never feel awkward - it's perfectly pleasant to read or relax by oneself - or to strike up a conversation with another guest there. It's a lovely way to meet others visiting beautiful San Miguel! The staff is very friendly, attentive (without being intrusive) and helpful. And it's obvious from the decor to the management to the atmosphere that gathering and caring for people in a beautiful and creativity-inspiring space is a true calling for the hotel owner. Finally, the location is superb because it's about a 4-5 minute walk from the gorgeous plaza and cathedral at the center of town, but it's on a quiet, one-way (which makes a huge difference for traffic and noise) street. Highly recommend for all kinds of travelers.

What a delightful oasis in a fascinating Mexican town. Casa de la Noche is a throw back. A true old school bed & breakfast. It has multiple court yards and many choices of rooms (18). There was an art workshop going on the week we were there and we really enjoyed interacting with all the folks involved. San Miguel de Allende is a historic Mexican town which we enjoyed exploring immensely. We’ll be back!

This is a magic place. |The public and private spaces at this hotel are some of the most beautiful spaces we have ever seen at a small hotel. |The hotel is located a a few steps from the more gentrified part of town, but it more than makes up with charm. |The staff and service were fabulous. |I do not believe that there is a better place to stay in San Miguel.

From the moment we arrived we were cordially greeted by Barbara. Ricardo helped us with our luggage to our beautiful "Las Nubes" room. Everything was IMPECCABLE, the room was spacious and there was lots of light coming from a big tall window, from where we could see lot's of greenery. The hotel is centrally located, and in a very quiet street. The service was great! We met Melanie, Uz, Ricardo and Aurora, all of them part of the Casa de la Noche team. They always greeted us with a smile and were on the lookout to anticipate our needs. Aurora was very helpful in guiding our tourism; from restaurants, to transportation and everything and anything else we inquired about. Her warmth and hospitality, as well as Melanie's attentiveness, made our stay enchanting. I recommend Casa de la Noche wholeheartedly.

Staying at Casa de Noche felt like being a welcome guest in someone's home. Barbe is rightfully proud of the Casa and its history and is a lovely host. The rooms are clean, unique and comfortable. The courtyard is delightful. The Casa is perfectly located and an easy walk to most everything in San Miguel de Allande. Barbe also has a wealth of information on the area and can make fabulous recommendations on things to do/where to go.

The staff is very friendly and eager to please. We had an issue with our shower temp which they were unable to fix, but they tried hard. Breakfast (included) was yogurt, fruit, granola (with peanuts), and some sort of eggs. The hotel has a lot of different areas and stairs. There are a lot of lovely courtyards.

My multi-day art workshop chose this wonderfully eclectic, steeped in history, centrally located and all in all exceptional boutique hotel. Plenty of communal spaces abound - like the courtyard where we enjoyed delicious breakfasts every morning or one of the many patios in the evenings admiring the views. Highly recommend!

We’re local SMA residents and stayed one night with a CFE issue at home. We choose wisely. Very nice, quaint, clean unique hotel. Excellent service. Very tasty breakfast and café ☕️ Parking 🅿️ nearby for a fee. Quiet comfortable room. Felt safe in the area. Recommend.

Our group of artists have been staying at Casa de la Noche for quite a few years; we take over the entire casa! The owner and hostess Barb is always very engaged with our group to ensure that we have everything needed. Our artists attendees really appreciate the uniqueness of staying at a previous bodega!

My previous hotel cancelled on me last minute with a sketchy reason why. So I was scrambling to find a hotel. Luckily I found this wonderful place. Not only did it save my trip, it was great place to stay. The owner made my wife and I feel welcomed along with her daughter. The hotel itself is beautiful and within walking distance to the mercados.

Mi hija y yo pasamos casi una semana en Casa de la Noche. La casa e maravillosa, llena de arte, ambientes agradables y musica que llega al corazon. Todo esta muy limpio, la atencion es extraordinaria. Tuve la suerte de conocer a Aurora, que su calida hospitalidad facilito que todo fluyera maravillosamente bien. Conoci tambien a Melanie, que su presencia agradable y sus ganas de ayudar fueron claves para que nuestra estadia sea muy placentera. Ricardo y Uz siempre al tanto para dar alguna recomendacion y ayudar en todo lo que fuera necesario. La casa esta cerca de el Centro, de restaurantes ricos y de las tienditas. Realmente quedamos muy satisfechas con todo, y con gusto recomendaria Casa de la Noche.

This place is very beautiful. Just a simple little door in Mexico, and I walked into a place with large open rooms, beautiful art, abundant plants and flowers. The layout has several sub levels and each room is unique with skylights and different works of art. Many arched doorways...just elegant and old world (I think) Mexico. The staff is efficient and friendly. Breakfast in a courtyard with a large fountain, is good. And they paid my shuttle to the Queretero airport.

We just got back from a week's vacation in SMA. We had our family and some friends with us, and everyone was pleased with the hotel and its wonderful staff. The hotel is beautiful, with some stunning little patios and "hang-out" spaces and breakfast every morning was delicious. The weekend nights were a bit loud, but I think this is the case all over town.

I love love this place. Very charming. It's almost like you're living in a gallery and it's a home! Every little art detail of this house is exquisite! The people working in this place are very friendly and helpful. Uz has been very helpful, and goes above and beyond! Uriel and Ricardo are nice too. The breakfast that goes w the price was also very good. Love everything about this place. I would definitely go back here again!
