Great quiet hotel walking distance from the city center (~20 min). My room was very comfortable, I had everything I needed. Water was provided every two days (2 bottles 0.5l). Beach towels and cool beach bag offered. Small private beach terrace apart from the pool area (you can always find a sunchair there) with good access to the ocean (shallow, but with high tide you can even swim). Service was just amazing, I would rate the staff six out of five, if I could! So helpful and always sincerely friendly! I just did not like the resto that much but there is plenty of choice for the meals nearby.

The staff is absolutely amazing—always helpful and joyful. The cocktails are good, and during happy hour they are offered at a very good price. The local restaurant is worth trying as well. There are different areas for sunbathing: by the sea or by the pool. The design of the pool area allows you to enjoy the morning sun, and in some parts you can relax in the shade after lunch. Breakfast was actually very good, with a wide variety of choices. A big plus is the proper coffee machine. The location has both pros and cons. Fine dining restaurants are within walking distance and worth discovering.|Stayed in the main building. The open atrium layout is not an ideal solution, as if there are careless guests you will hear what’s happening on other levels as well. The room is outdated—an issue for some, but not for others. However, the room lighting in the evening could be better. The location is a drawback for those who want to explore the Samui Central area. It is within walking distance, but in the dark it can be challenging for some people since the road has ups and downs and sharp curves. In the end, if you know what you want, this might be a perfect place.

This is a fantastic hotel. We stayed in a villa and absolutely loved it. The location is top-tier — a gorgeous pool with direct walk-out access to the beach. Breakfast was included and consistently fresh, with coffee made by a barista (a nice change from the typical self-serve machines). The gym is on the smaller side and a bit dated, but it’s a minor compromise. Laundry pricing was fair and everything came back well done. There are no in-room phones, so communication is via WhatsApp, which was easy enough. Overall, the property is beautiful and we’ll definitely be recommending it to others.

Lovely small beachfront hotel. The staff were all amazing! Jinny took daily care of the rooms in an excellent way. Location is good, on a quiet part of the beach. The busy town is about a 30 minute walk or 5 minutes by taxi/scooter. Ocean access is good and the beach chairs placed on a veranda near the pool. Pool has a perfect temperature and is swimmable. The ocean in front of the hotel has very low water for a big stretch, so safe for kids, but not ideal for swimming. Food and drinks quality is high standard. Breakfast has good variety and they make nice coffees.

Wonderful place to visit. The room, the pool, and the restaurant come at a right, comfortable size. The view is quite amazing and the beach is shallow enough that you can walk in water for such a long distance. I highly recommend seeing the sunrise here as well. The only improvement I can think of is that I wish the gym could be more well equipped. Otherwise, it is a nice spot to stay in Samui. PS: The grilled pork and sticky rice at the breakfast buffet line is very good. Don't skip that!

The staff, the pool area, the private beach and the breakfast were all amazing, couldn't fault it. The room was also spacious ( stayed in the villa) and the pool- beach area were charming and relaxing. Room was also very clean and we had everything we needed. The location wasn't great- if you like to walk from your hotel, the walk although isn't too far ( about 20 min to the main area) isn't very pleasant

This was our second stay at this hotel, but unfortunately this time our experience was not great compared to our first visit. We were given a room in the main building on the 4th floor, and it was quite rundown and, most importantly, dirty not properly cleaned. There was dust, stains, and other unidentified elements in all corners of the bedroom and bathroom, even after housekeeping had serviced the room. This negatively impacted our stay. On a positive note, the pool area and terrace are lovely, and the restaurant staff are very friendly. We will unfortunately not return next time.

Had an amazing stay at Casa De Mar, perfect location to be close enough but also far enough away from town to relax! Staff were all amazing, remembered us and our orders, very attentive, great breakfast buffett. Jinny looked after our rooms like a gem and kept us clean, comfortable and relaxed 😀
