Casa de Perainda - Intimate Hotel

We arrived in Trancoso looking for a place to spend the last day of our honeymoon. We wandered outside the main square hoping to find something more affordable. We didn’t end up finding anything within our original budget, but we don’t regret it one bit because we found Perainda. The place was beautiful. Every detail and piece of artwork showed such good taste, yet it never felt overdone. It felt like home. What stood out the most was the people: always attentive, friendly, and somehow anticipating our needs before we even voiced them. The rooms were very cozy, the amenities impeccable, and the food and drinks great and fairly priced, unlike what I’ve seen in most hotel restaurants. And they even have the cutest dachshund named Salsicha, which was a highlight of our stay.

The place so far only has 5 star reviews, and there’s a very good reason for that! The rooms are decorated and pleasant to stay in, the bed is literally like a cloud. The staff are amazing and always happy to help and make sure you’re looked after. They take a lot of pride in being attentive and setting the table for you for any room service. The food and beverages are also reasonably priced. There’s also a very boutique breakfast and afternoon tea experience that is included, you really can’t ask for much more! 11/10 😃

The most wonderful stay at Casa de Perainda! The venue had a great common space with pool, the room was spacious, the bed and pillows were heavenly. Breakfasts were decadent. The hotel is very well located, we could walk to the village and beach easily. Can’t wait to go back!

I had a fantastic stay at the Perainda Boutique Hotel. The breakfast was excellent, offering a delicious variety that satisfied my taste buds each morning with sophistication. The decoration throughout the hotel was charming and created a cozy ambiance that truly enhanced the experience. What stood out even more was the warm and friendly nature of the owners and the entire team, who went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. Highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

Just loved everything about staying here!! I stayed at a few high end places in Brazil but this was by far the most friendly and attentive service! Daniel and all the staff were just fantastic!! The food was excellent, recommendations on places to go and restaurants were all top notch and the staff was always happy to arrange rides and reservations for us. It honestly felt like we were staying with good friends rather than people we had just met! I cannot wait to come back to visit!

Casa de Perainda is basically paradise, with the best people (Thanks to Daniel and team!!!), full of nice attentions, amazing rooms, and installations, great taste in ambiance and decoration, and some of the best breakfasts I've ever had. I cannot recommend it enough.

Casa Perainda is truly a paradise! The hotel is very closet (walking distance) to the main square and it is the best hotel i've ever stayed at. It is charming, unique and all very welcoming. There are only 5 rooms so book fast!!! The 8 course breakfast is incredible at the big table and you get to become friends with everyone else staying at the hotel. We ended up doing a day trip with one of the other couples. The hosts Alexandre and Virgilio are beyond helpful and treat you like family. They helped us booking cars, restaurant reservations as well as beach chair reservations. My favorite part was the outdoor bathrooms they are so beautiful. the whole property is so beautiful you don't want to leave!! If you are looking for a slick four seasons experience this is not the right place, but if you want the true Trancoso experience, island chic, and want to make new friends this is the place!! They also had delicious snacks set up for us every afternoon when we would come home from the beach. The staff are all super friendly and I would 100% stay there again when I go back to Trancoso!

Absolutely amazing property! Casa de Perainda is an experience. You feel at home by the moment you step into this paradise. All staff members are so welcoming and the breakfast is to die for. The rooms are gorgeous, spacious and incredibly well designed. The bathroom was not a bathroom but rather a 5-star spa experience. We look forward to staying at Casa de Perainda again. Plus the location that is steps from Quadrado and at a beautiful street.
