This should be a 5 star reviews but they have to sort a couple of things out .|Hotel is great, cool spot, nice staff who were very helpful and food very good (apart from breakfast).|Wifi is slow and patchy at best it needs an upgrade.|Breakfast really should be better - eggs and bread, small fruit salad, that’s it : no granola/ yogurt or whatever option despite me asking. |Also unacceptable not to get drinking water either in the room or with breakfast - i had to buy bottle water to have a glass with my breakfast ! How hard can it be to have a water fountain or similar in the area ?|Otherwise a nice spot and reasonably priced

The beach is the best part of the hotel, while it is not private it is far away from the main town of Mancora and so not used by many. The hotel is literally on the beach. There were days when we had the whole area to ourselves. The swimming pool was alright, nothing awesome. The rooms were clean and spacious, but depends on what room you book. We had to change our last night due to availability and our second room did not have much space. Mosquito mats are provided in the room daily. There is no water provided in the room, so be sure to get your own. Shampoo and soap are provided, but if you are picky about products you use then best to get your own. Drinks and food is very expensive in the hotel, best to head into town for those. Vegetarian options are very few in the hotel menu. Mototaxis, the best way to get into town, are available and are plenty. Normally they charge 5 soles, so be sure to bargain if they ask for more. We were travelling as a family of 4, 2 young children. Mancora is gorgeous and Casa de Playa albeit slightly expensive was very nice.

This place is the best! The rooms are very clean, not big but big enough. The view is amazing, the pool is good and the location is almost on the beach. You can also order good quality food, the staff is super friendly and willing to help. The place is also way better than the photos suggest. Thus; Highly recommended! :-)

We discovered this hotel walking along the beach and fell in love with it's concrete beach huts on the beach. Really beautiful and stylish. We fell a bit in love with it and extended our stay. It's on a beautiful bit of coastline. Surprisingly good restaurant (delicious ceviche, pasta, mojitos!) and lovely team who helped us lots. nice pool but sea was also perfect warm. Beautiful walks and sunsets.

The most beautiful hotel in Mancora. I spent a week here and It has been very relaxing and excellent service. The food is very good and fresh. They are very fast to clean your rooms, give you new bed sheets every night, new towels, and they clean the rooms extremely well. Great place for couples and families that want to relax or meet new friendly people.

The location was great! It was about 1.5 miles to walk into down for lunch or dinner, and only 2 soles per person for a mototaxi if we didn't want to walk. It was close enough to town while still having a clean beach (the beaches closer to town had a lot of garbage) and we could also walk the other way past more resorts. The staff was excellent, super friendly. Our room was almost too clean, laundry folded, always tidied. The staff was always cleaning the rest of the property as well. Tati and staff were helpful and friendly with great recommendations and always looking to make our stay better. The room was comfortable and spacious and food was great, including breakfast every day! Only thing to suggest would be towels for the pool / beach.

This restaurant was recommended to us by some locals we met in another restaurant. It has excellent views looking out to sea. |There’s a nice atmosphere and the service was excellent despite us having no common language. |The food and drink were excellent - the banana colada made a nice change from a pina colada. The appetiser of causa style avocado and shrimps was beautifully presented and tasted good. I also really enjoyed the salad with tuna, cabbage, soy sauce, honey etc which was served with well toasted , crispy white bread. My husband had the fish with shrimp sauce which came with lots of shrimps through the sauce. We were all satisfied customers! |

We stayed at this small family-owned & run hotel for 4 weeks, a winter sun change from Goa. Our panorama room was large and airy with a good-sized balcony with lots of seating and a hammock. The room had a flat panel TV, fridge and electronic safe. The two fans were fine and we did not miss air-con. The hotel had many plusses: friendly owner and staff (especially Milton); great attention to daily cleaning even of common parts; well-prepared food; virtually no insect life. We are not huge fish-eaters and the hotel went out of its way to source extra meat options for us. Although we experienced only one power cut, unusually for a hotel of this size it has its own standby generator. The hotel does lunch but, for a change, there are a couple places to walk to along the beach although, going north, care must be taken at high tide. The main disappointment for us was the absence of good sea-swimming which we considered unsafe because of the many submerged rocks into which you could be pushed by the strong surf.|We had a very pleasant time here and it is ideal for those seeking a quiet, relaxed holiday. The owner, Tati, speaks excellent English. Other staff only Spanish.
