This hotel was in a great location for restaurants and sites with easy access to public transport. The hospitality team was very welcoming, helpful and professional. The room size was more than adequate and the bathroom was large and well appointed. We really enjoyed the laid back style but with "regal" surroundings. The breakfast was also very good and all offerings were tasty! At every turn, there was someone at the desk to offer assistance and guidance. As an added, unexpected bonus, they surprised me with a birthday treat which was thoughtful and heartwarming. My memory of Lisbon was very much enhanced by this hotel stay!

I probably got unlucky and got their worst room but I had to stay 3 nights in a room with a tiny window that was opening on a wall 15 cm away so no daylight at all. You could not stay in the room even in full daylight without the light on. The bathroom was minuscule to the point that the sink was actually one of these sinks meant for toilets. There was water infiltration to the window wall on top of it. There was also no iron, which is inconvenient for a work trip. BUT the hotel is located in a very nice neighborhood and the breakfast was ok (delicious pastries and fresh fruit salad, pretty bland for the rest). I also saw on the website that some of the rooms look great and the decor is really nice throughout the hotel.

This hotel is in the Bairro Alto area, slightly North of the town centre, but the lovely old tram 24 takes you right down to town & to the famous tram 28. Also, a stroll up the road takes you to gardens with a cafe, bar and guitarists playing in the evening. We loved it. The hotel has very good breakfasts, everything you could want, and is a character building but modernised and very clean. The rooms are spacious. We slept very well. Comfortable beds & quiet. We highly recommend a restaurant just up the road, Pica Pau.

Stupendous Surprise,||I had booked this hotel partially because of its Central location and closeness to all the bus and metro stations and was pleasantly surprised by the level of quality of both the staff and the hotel itself. The breakfast, the cleanliness and kindness I received here were more akin to a swiss 5 Star hotel then a 3 star Portuguese one. |It makes me a bit perplexed that it only has three stars although one of the receptionists named Paulo disclosed to me that it's only because they don't have a garage and a pool (although they are an historical protected building, which means they couldn't have them because the law doesn't allow structural changes to such historic and important buildings).|I can't wait to return again!

Prime location, beautiful rooms/ interior up-kept everyday, breakfast was delicious and included a variety of healthy options. The staff were amazing and helpful - Particularly Tomaś who made our stay extra special by being so friendly, knowledgeable of the city and hospitable. A beautiful hotel - would recommended honestly to anyone! (said from two tanned Aussie girls)

A truly charming hotel with a classy, unique vibe. The breakfast was delicious, and the location couldn’t be better—just steps from the metro and close to a supermarket. The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and surprisingly quiet, making for a relaxing stay. Highly recommend!

A superb hotel!! We loved our stay here for many reasons. Firstly, it was spotlessly clean and also our room was spacious and it had lovely decor. The air con was really needed too, as the temperatures were 30 plus. Breakfast was excellent too - we loved the fresh fruit and the scrambled eggs. The staff were professional and helpful. It is a far better hotel than some more expensive ones we’ve stayed in. Would definitely recommend 😁

We loved it here. The rooms were exceptionally clean, the staff incredibly helpful and the breakfast made for a great start to the day. Location wise it was an easy walk through the beautiful streets of Lisbon. Highly recommend.

Yelp
What a wonderful hotel! Staff is very friendly and always at the front desk. The breakfast was very good with a variety of meats and cheeses, bread, coffee and dessert. The room was very comfortable, beautifully decorated and easy to adjust the temperature. It is in the heart of Lisbon so we walked to everything in the area. A lot of shopping, restaurants and museums and churches in walking distance. A 15 minute walk to the train and about 20 minutes to the airport. Highly recommend this clean, convenient and comfortable hotel.

Yelp
I've stayed here multiple times and i cannot stress this enough: this is the best hotel for someone who loves something different, with a classic look and a luxurious feel. I've read some critics talking about the fact that it doesn't have an elevator for example but upon asking the staff they told me that the city of lisbon doesn't permit changes in the house structure due to the fact that its historic heritage and as so it must be preserved... But i digress. To sum up its a great hotel for someone who is tired of this "modern hotels" or just likes the classical style of this one.
