Casa de Xantar O Dezaseis

We had the menu del dia (menu of the day) which was really value for money especially when the scallop we ordered on top of it cost half the price of the menu. The ratatouille was good, and the ribs was excellent. The wine recommended (the rioja) was amazing.

A very popular and well reviewed restaurant but not to my liking or maybe an off night in the kitchen. The baby calf was chewy, the fish not appealing, every dish was drowned with salt, it was the only flavour you could taste. I probably drink 1.5 liters of water after dinner. The restaurant decor was warm and inviting.

Great decor and atmosphere along with attentive service and fantastic food make this a great choice! The crab Croquetas and the Galician style Pulpo are simply amazing. The Lamb and Secreto perfectly cooked. Portion sizes are on the large side... Not the cheapest restaurant in town but well worth the price, which is very reasonable for the quality of food and service.

Incredibly cozy and loving restaurant. Starting from the ambience of the restaurant, which is very inviting and lovingly decorated, to the staff, which despite lack of Spanish knowledge on my part, fulfilled all my wishes. And finally, the excellent fresh dishes that I can recommend to everyone. I will come again.

Food reasonable. Tarta Santiago very good, not so the tiramisu (lacked coffee,). Lacon excessively salty and hard. Skate is alright. Squid ink spaghetti tasty. Servings small. 6.5 euro for one basket of bread. 0.6 for each packet of olive oil.

Very cute place, just outside of the old town. Service was excellent. Started off strong with good tasting wine and razor clams. The broccoli soup was underwhelming (mostly thin broth), but not bad. The cod was really disappointing - undercooked but chewy, lots of bones. We are not the type to complain, so we ate some, moved the rest around the plate, paid and left.

The food at this restaurant is excellent. Obsluha super. They have delicious fish, pork is perfection. So if you want to visit this restaurant because their food is fantasy. The only thing that bothered us all the way to the menu was a whole bottle of wine and just a drink. But what can be done. Otherwise, there are a lot of people going to lunch there so long waiting for the table.

Tasty Spanish food with great sangria in a traditional restaurant with beautiful stone steps and thick castle walls and solid wood tables. Great service. Very friendly and professional.
