A very popular and well reviewed restaurant but not to my liking or maybe an off night in the kitchen. The baby calf was chewy, the fish not appealing, every dish was drowned with salt, it was the only flavour you could taste. I probably drink 1.5 liters of water after dinner. The restaurant decor was warm and inviting.

It used to be a very good restaurant but sadly the food quality and quantity went down. The "fabada" Bean stew was more like a soup, the "lacon con grelos" Boiled gammon with kale was salty and tasteless. For pudding the peach cheesecake wasn't homemade but supermarket quality. Really disappointed.

Beautiful location, fantastic food and service. Definitely increased the joy of our trip to Spain and Portugal.

Incredibly cozy and loving restaurant. Starting from the ambience of the restaurant, which is very inviting and lovingly decorated, to the staff, which despite lack of Spanish knowledge on my part, fulfilled all my wishes. And finally, the excellent fresh dishes that I can recommend to everyone. I will come again.

Great decor and atmosphere along with attentive service and fantastic food make this a great choice! The crab Croquetas and the Galician style Pulpo are simply amazing. The Lamb and Secreto perfectly cooked. Portion sizes are on the large side... Not the cheapest restaurant in town but well worth the price, which is very reasonable for the quality of food and service.

The food at this restaurant is excellent. Obsluha super. They have delicious fish, pork is perfection. So if you want to visit this restaurant because their food is fantasy. The only thing that bothered us all the way to the menu was a whole bottle of wine and just a drink. But what can be done. Otherwise, there are a lot of people going to lunch there so long waiting for the table.

I usually don't leave comments, especially negative comments. But I felt compelled to today. Seeing this restaurant being highly recommended by Rick Steves, I went to the place alone today around 2: 15 PM. There were many empty tables on the ground floor, with only one table taken by a couple. The lady who saw me said in Spanish "you have to be three people". I was like "Really? So I can't eat here by myself?" She waved me to follow her to go downstairs where there were more tables (and empty tables). One table was taken by one gentleman only, so clearly its not true that they only serve at least 3 people. She spoke to a middle-aged gentleman who then told me that all the tables had been reserved. There were no signs of "reservation" on the table, and I just pointed out that even the first floor were with many empty tables. But he insisted that all the tables had been booked. BTW, the restaurant's lunch service is supposed to close by 3:45 PM, so its hard to believe that the guests with reservations still hadn't arrived by 2:15 PM yet. So I had to leave. Not sure its my Asian looking face (I'm from the States) or something that triggered their such attitude. What a disappointment!

We went with a group of 6, had a cozy table with great service. We ordered several starters for the table to share, and 2 in the party ordered the salads and they were huge! Reports were they were delicious. Everything we had was tasty, especially the flan at the end of the meal- one of the best in all of Spain. We really enjoyed our meal experience at O Dezaseis, and we highly recommend a reservation when in Santiago.
