A Hidden Gem in Condesa …Don’t Let the Reviews Scare You Off I was nervous about booking Casa Decu after reading some of the Google reviews. enroute the hotel, I even considered canceling. But I’m so glad I didn’t. When I arrived, Carlos at the entrance was incredibly kind and welcoming. I told him how I felt about the place based on what I’d read online, and he simply said, “Why don’t you check out the room first, then decide?” I went up to my room , and from the moment I stepped inside, I was pleasantly surprised. The room was spotless, spacious, and had a lovely condo-style setup — complete with a small sink and table. The lighting set a relaxed mood, the bed was the perfect size for a solo traveler, and I even had a beautiful view of the courtyard with a lush green plant wall. It felt serene and private. The bathroom was a good size, equipped with all the essentials, and most importantly it was clean and fresh-smelling. The whole hotel actually smells amazing — like a place you want to come back to after a day of exploring. Casa Decu is a stunning, well-kept boutique hotel in a great Condesa location. As a bonus, they even offer a complimentary bottle of wine, which is a lovely touch for those who enjoy a glass. I didn’t experience any of the issues I had read about

We loved our stay at this wonderful boutique hotel. We enjoyed breakfast each morning on the beautiful rooftop terrace. The neighborhood is peaceful and has cute cafes everywhere. We hope to come back!

I enjoyed my time here very much. Kind, attentive staff, sparkling clean rooms, great location, and a delicious breakfast. It's true you can occasionally hear noise from other rooms/the courtyard, but that's just part of the architecture and experience of CDMX. I really don't understand the negative reviews, and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Eh overall not impressed. Location is great, but they oversell themselves with photos vs what you get in person. We had a one bed "suite". The room was entirely internal with no views. There's also no AC and no airflow. Was hot in May, so would not be livable in summer. Door to bedroom would open itself during the night loudly. Linens and bed were fine, pressure in shower is excellent. I did not think it was a good value. Staff was super polite and helpful!

I hadn't had time to leave a review regarding my stay in March, but I wanted to thank the hotel staff for the wonderful stay we had. The neighborhood is very nice and safe to walk around at any time of day. The hotel has 24/7 security, and the staff is always available to assist you should you need anything. The design is simply stunning. The terrace was my favorite spot. Without a doubt, this is a place I would return to on my next visit to Mexico City. I highly recommend it!

Just stayed at Casa Decu and had a fantastic experience. The location is unbeatable — right in Condesa and walking distance to great restaurants, cafes, and even Roma Norte. The neighborhood felt very safe, and the hotel itself is secure and beautifully maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Clean rooms, great service, and a lovely rooftop. Highly recommend if you're visiting CDMX and want to explore on foot.

I had a wonderful stay at Casu Decu! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and very clean. There is no Aircon as it's an old building but they provided a fan so it wasn't a problem. The continental breakfast was good, there was a good selection of fresh fruit, cereal, bread and pastries. There was dairy free milk which I really appreciated as a vegan. You could order extras at a small cost too. It was served on the rooftop terrace, it was so nice having breakfast in the morning sun. The hotel is in a great location for bars and restaurants with good transport links. We made use of the metro or got Ubers to places. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting CDMX!

Very spacious and clean room. Located near bakeries and walking distance to other restaurants. Staff courteous. Safe as well. Highly recommend for solo travelers, female travelers. No AC but had tower fan which was sufficient

Yelp
Very well located hotel. Close walk to lots of restaurants and shopping. No AC. But there was a fan. The room was more like a suite with a kitchenette, (no stove or kettle) dishes were provided for leftovers. There was a fridge and a microwave. No elevator, so it's a four floor walk up to terrace for continental breakfast. Small toiletries were provided. You have to ring doorbell for entry to hotel, not good if your room is near lobby (like mine was). Not sure I'd stay here again ( No AC is a big NO for me), but I would certainly recommend for those who are looking for a central hotel with room to move about and going during a cooler season.

Yelp
This boutique hotel was one of my favorite parts of staying in Condesa, Mexico City. RECOMMEND staying here if you go to Mexico City, to explore the beautiful neighborhoods of Roma Norte and Codnesa. Perks about hotel has complimentary breakfast every morning, wifi, flat screen tv, gym/laundry facilities, and 24-hour-desk service to assist you. Also, its so close to everything, that you can just walk around the neighborhood: whether you want to go to Panaderia Rosetta or just grab a drink at Gin Gin. The design is very simple, elegant and sheek. I loved the rooms: they had a full kitchen, bedroom, bathroom. In addition, the rooftop was just jaw-droppingly gorgeous. Had beautiful tables, and gorgeous greenery and plants; a great place to relax after a long day. Price: very affordable and quality!
