This beautiful hotel in the heart of the Old Town offers a wonderful stay. The rooms are light, spacious, well equipped and offer a peaceful oasis. The restoration of this beautiful building is superb. Kostantinos is more than helpful and kind, as are his staff. The breakfasts are delicious. The hotel is just a short stroll away from the many restaurants and the picturesque harbour. There are lots of shops, but for us thearcheological museum was definitely worth visiting. We had a great time and can't fault the Casa dei Delfini.

Casa Dei Delfini is full of charm, perfectly located in the old town—quiet, yet close to shops, tavernas, and the harbor. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had lovely traditional touches.||Each morning started with a delicious homemade breakfast in the peaceful courtyard, which really added to the experience.||Konstantinos was a wonderful host—so warm, welcoming, and full of great local recommendations. We felt truly looked after. Highly recommend this special place!

Terrific location in the pedestrian-centric old town, quiet room, comfortable bed, excellent amenities, attractive room, and extra-helpful staff. (We hit a cold spell on the day of a planned trip into the mountains, and were able to borrow a warm vest for my wife.) We stayed three nights and really enjoyed having this as our home base. There are only nine rooms, so book early.||Note: Breakfast isn't served until the season begins, in April. That was a disappointment. That said, being on Crete in the off-season is a pleasure.

I have been fortunate to stay in some beautiful hotels, but I have to say that Casa dei Delfini is up there with the best. Located in a fantastic spot in the heart of the Old Town, this wonderful building has been sympathetically renovated and restored into a stunning hotel that provides all the modern conveniences without compromising the beauty of the original historic building. It is stunning. Katerina and Kon, the two charming hosts, are on hand to help with any enquiries and they take the comfort and happiness of their guests very seriously. They even happily put up with my dreadful Greek, although they both speak excellent English! A lovely Cretan style breakfast is provided. I will be back! Highly recommended.

We stayed here for 5 nights and we are so very happy with our decision! Extremely clean rooms and an amazing host! Located in the heart of old town, everything is near and also very easy to find parking space for your car! We will definitely return! Thank you for everything!

This beautiful characterful building is in the heart of the old town which is entirely pedestrianised. As a result the four of us (in two separate rental cars) all struggled to find parking outside of the pedestrian-only zone. So we were all a bit stressed by the time we finally found parking spots then trundled our bags from the cars to the hotel. But it was well worth the effort. Our rooms were gorgeous, breakfasts were a delight, and Kon & Katerina lovely hosts. Although located in the heart of the old town it is still quiet at night but only a short walk to all Rethymnon has to offer. It is a lovely city and should not be missed and Casa dei Delfini is the icing on the cake (or more appropriately the honey on the baklava!).

We stayed at Casa deo Delfini for several nights and we had an incredible experience! Konstantino, the hotel owner, was so nice and extremely helpful! He suggested several places for us to eat and tourist attractions to see, and they did not disappoint. The rooms and the architecture of the hotel were beautiful! Loved hearing the history of how it was built in the Venetian times. Everything was extremely clean and tidy. Breakfast was also great! Highly recommend 🙂

We stayed there for a few days and loved the experience - everything was exactly as described. The architecture of the building is amazing. Common areas are very well maintained and not crowded. Our room was clean and tidy at all times. Two of the highlights were the incredible staff and the breakfast - fresh and healthy. Two things to note: (i) WiFi was a little slow and (ii) the nearest parking place is about eight minutes walk. These are expected because the Old Town does not allow cars and it is a vacation vs business hotel. Even though everything is within walking distance, the closest beach (excluding the port) is about 15-20 minutes away. This is because the location of the building is on the limit of the tourist/residential area. Overall, it was an incredible experience and we would go again.
